I regret switching, never had issues with Oriign service or setup.

I got notice my plan was increasing and as i was coming off the 12 month plan it was a 18% increase. I called to change my plan it was the most difficult thing to understand, you can upgrade anytime no problem at all more money, Happy to upgrade you anytime oh but to downgrade can only take place at next billing cycle, they will not prorate the downgrade like the upgrade. Despite any reasoning other be seen as corporate greed and they are a reseller we buy from others.

Take more money but do not able to provide the customer the prorata difference of the month.

I will never use and do not recommed their service despite the billing the service was not trustworthy or reliable for us. Do not fall for theor promos as they were slightly cheaper. Get what you pay for.

These guys are AWFUL. Unreliable service and constant drop outs from this provider. Useless customer service sending me around and around troubleshooting with no resolution. Do not recommend AT ALL. AVOID! go with a provider who has their customer service team based in Australia rather than overseas. WORST INTERNET PROVIDER. USELESSSSSSSS!!! Show details

I have a recurring fault where dropouts occur. I have a FTTP connection so it's not likely possible for dropouts to occur. It's likely a faulty NTD but refuse to replace it, could be network. Stuck in limbo. Show details

Lost service twice in a week!! – Just lost my service for the second time this week. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PROVIDER. As soon as I'm able I will hitch them, even pay more to get reliable connection. They are rubbish!!!! Don't bother calling, their automated system will leave you on hold for ages. No human is involved in their customer support!!

Worst internet provider in the market – It’s by far the worst internet provider I have ever dealt with. Poor customer service, terrible quality and lack of dignity. They even charged me an extra month fee when I changed to other provider because of a stupid 30 days notice period. These cowboys shouldn’t be allowed to do any business.

Post installation this is the worst service ever – 1) complete lack of communication whilst waiting for opticomm 2) initially CGNAT was given as the IP address range which cannot be used for incoming connections 3) No IPoE, only PPPoE 4) No IPv6 5) pppd connection is terminated at the remote 1 to 4 times a day, without warning. 6) As of today, the service has been active for about 4 weeks, and… Read more

already the incoming non-CGNAT IP address has been firewalled off by Uniti 7) Zendesk tickets are not replied to 8) Support emails are not replied to 9) Long (many hour) wait times to get phone answered. 10) Incompetent tech support replies - the LCP echo messages being dropped at the ppp layer (layer 2) are met with the suggestion to run WinMTR to 8.8.8.8. (which is obviously a layer 4 diagnostic issue).

I've had enough after just 4 weeks. I'm going to switch as soon as I can.

service levels, connectivity speeds, sending a technician to the property to upgrade the service etc. Unfortunately none of this has happened and after converting I have had multiple cuts in network signal, the speeds have never exceeded 45Mbps where I signed up for 150Mbps plan and if you try contact the customer service team be prepared to wait for 1 to 2 hours on line only to be told they need to transfer you to the team dealing with Telstra Velocity transfers. Eventually the calls are cut and you start the process again where to date I haven't been able to get any resolution to the problems I am facing despite multiple calls to the 1300847201 number and multiple emails, all of which have gone unanswered to support@unitiinternet.com.

I am currently trying to cancel the non-existing service and request a refund but once again this is proving impossible.

Avoid at all costs would be my suggestion and don't get scammed as I appear to have been.

Very difficult Customer Service but eventually resolved – The Customer Service Team are able to provide you with a Withdraw Order ticket number, but this is not enough, you must then be put through to the Retention Team, placed on hold again for another 30+ minutes only to have the call dropped. review at Product Review prompted some very attentive help from Customer Service in Adelaide, who was able to confirm my withdrawal from the service over the phone (he contacted me) and in an email. So, my issue was eventually rectified however it took for me to write a review here to prompt a response, which I shouldn't have had to. I would urge anyone in a Velocity Estate considering Unity for their Opticomm provider to read all the reviews of all the retailers and make your decision.

100/5 we had previously. But that's a separate issue. The 50/10 speed is unusable for the number of people in my household. To get the 250/25 speed I signed up for and PAYING, I've been trying to contact Uniti to see when my NTD box would be upgraded, as Opticomm has informed me it is up to the ISP to put in a request for it to occur. In total hours, I have been on hold with Uniti for just under 26 hours just trying to get an answer to this. To date, I have yet to get a proper answer, its always, "sorry sir for the wait, let us put you through to the proper team.." and a promise to call me back. It has been two months since transitioning and I'm still in the dark. I am currently on hold again as i type this to cancel my subscription with Uniti as I plan to go back to Telstra as at least they managed to get their customers NTD boxes upgraded by Opticomm. The reason I went with Uniti in the first place was because Uniti and Opticomm are under the same umbrella company and I assumed the transition would be smoother with Uniti. Boy did I bet on the wrong horse!!!

I had to endure endless hours of waiting on the phone (usually 1-2hr).

Finally, after two long weeks of waiting, a technician showed up at my site, only to confirm what I already suspected – the fault was on Uniti's end, not mine. But guess what? He couldn't do a thing about it!

Enough was enough. On the 15th of June, 2023, I decided to cancel the service. But hold on, the story doesn't end there! Even after cancelling, the drama continued. The agent on the phone begged me to try fiddling with my network settings, but surprise, surprise, it didn't work. Weeks later, I received an invoice for a service I never even got to use – outrageous!

When I called customer service to sort this mess out, they admitted they messed up and my cancellation request got lost in their maze of incompetence. So, I had to go through the whole process again.

Fast forward to the 23rd of June '23, and guess what pops up in my inbox? Another bill! This time, it's a whopping $424.95 for an 'Opticomm Termination Fee.' Seriously, what's with all the extra charges for a service I never had?

After calling them yet again (and enduring the usual one-hour wait), their excuse was that they had "already escalated the problem." Big deal! Clearly, they are all talk and no action.

It's been over two months since I first signed up and a month since I canceled, yet they keep pushing me to wait some more. Seriously, enough is enough! This company is an absolute joke, and their lack of accountability and customer care is unforgivable.

Take my advice: stay far, far away from Uniti Wireless. Spare yourself the headaches, the frustration, and the wasted time. Don't fall for their promises – they deliver nothing but disappointment.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Awful start, turned worse, left – I have spent multiple hours on hold with Uniti support, our original router failed and while we got a replacement the service has been awful. I have tried multiple times (again email, support tickets and calls with long queues) to fix an issue due to the CG-NAT that breaks my work VPN and our household security. just needed a static IP or help but got no response (a support call terminated by the rep, likely an accident as she was mid-sentence but the queue times for support are demoralising to be on). No response to emails or tickets through their support site. I was also getting issues loading international websites and just honestly don't have the spoons for this. New provider had me up and running with a static IP on port 2 of the NTD in 15 minutes, stable work connection and it just works. Took me 1.5hrs on hold to cancel the Uniti product with the required notice - so have to pay twice for an ISP but that's on me for making the mistake to cheap out on a promo deal.

If they had some sort of self service, even answered emails or tickets then maybe worth a shot but the only channel that as a customer I could use was the phone and with queue times over an hour (sometimes 3) I just don't see the value.

Incorrect Billing and No one Answering Calls or Responding to my Email – I have been with Uniti for last 12 Months and out of not where they start charging me extra though i have existing contract with them.
