ask them a question that has stumped them so they do know their stuff. The course material, especially the more general subjects, could use some editing and polish as I did spot a few mistakes with them during my time. The mistakes I spotted were not too important but still detracted from the experience a bit. The supplementary material, mostly in the form of LinkedIn Learning vids, were useful but I should say that you should not spent all your time watching them as there are plenty there.

but Erica was there for me every step of the way. I felt, and I still feel so comfortable when I'm talking to Erica. She gives all her time to help you. At one point I felt like I was pushing her too much and probably nagging her when I really wanted my Work Placement to go through. But to my surprise she never minded. She was always cheerful and willing to help whenever I called her. With Upskilled, I feel that If I go out there I'll be marketable because they don't leave you half baked. At first I was so annoyed with a lot of role plays, I don't want to lie. But later on I discovered that it was for my own good. They will be doing there best to make sure that we have enough knowledge for us to fit in the industry

able to successfully complete this diploma and I could never thank them both enough for their efforts. I enrolled in this diploma whilst employed by child protection in Victoria working as a case practice support worker in the case support (contact and transport) team and determined to progress further into this career. I chose upskilled as I worked fulltime, have 3 young children and have a diagnosis of ADHD, where Upskilled allowed a flexible, supported and self-paced option to complete these studies. During the duration of my enrolment, I worked closely with Rosan to identify options for some units to be completed by RPL (recognition of prior learning) taking into consideration my current role and what I am already achieving daily. I was also fortunate to apply for a credit transfer for 3 units from my previous childcare qualifications (which I must say was a significantly easy process) RPL consisted of a very easy to follow RPL kit including a theory evidence document, evidence of this competency within the workplace and a verbal assessment conducted with Rosan. Rosan was absolutely amazing through the RPL process, ensuring competency was evident in a thorough and consistent manner. As I commenced the RPL units identified, my career in child protection rapidly took off and I had been allocated into the investigations and assessment team from this I qualified to complete further units under RPL. Whilst in this team there was a demand for further progression and pressure was set in for my studies to be completed. I consulted this with Rosan and Erica, where nothing was too hard, too much or too complicated for them to support me through this. Their communication was beyond what you could expect and both Rosan and Erica always ensured I was on track and had everything together and finalised. Rosan willingly with not stress adapted to my work arrangements and demands (which meant a lot of rescheduling from my behalf) however ensured he always had an hour time block spare to reschedule and complete verbal assessments in a time efficient manner. Towards the end of my completion which was around the easter period, Rosan and Erica were patient, encouraging and provided outstanding support to finalise all units and ensure units were successfully completed in time for my career progression which had resulted in a promotion that I was very excited to share with them. I will always recommend Upskilled to anyone seeking to study, and have already encouraged many co-workers to further their careers through Upskilled in which I have successfully supported 3 co-workers to join Upskilled one transferring from another education company.

The program was flexible and well-structured, allowing me to balance my learning while staying engaged. As much of my learning was recognised through prior experience, the course has been valuable in formalising my existing skills and providing a recognised qualification that reflects my experience in the workplace. Overall, I feel more confident, capable, and validated in the skills I bring to my role. Stepping back into learning was a big decision for me. As a mum of four, a grandmother of seven, a full-time carer for my elderly mum, and working full-time, I was both nervous and determined to see this through. I am truly grateful for Rosan’s support, patience, and guidance, which helped me build confidence and stay on track throughout the course.

I have been completing my diploma in counselling and I've had a fantastic experience. My tutor Ronnie has been such an exceptional help. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and wants to help you succeed rather then just "make it through the course". I've really enjoyed my experience.

I’m loving the counselling course from upskilled. It’s easy to follow, and the trainers are great. Ronnie lynch my trainer always guides me through the role play videos, which is very helpful ensuring I can meet all the marks, and the course has zoom sessions every week to ask questions or record your role plays! videos and simulate work scenarios it made me quite uncomfortable but in saying that once you started you did get a bit more used to it and the good thing is they did not expect you to be an actor. They were there with the grading process. Because at the end of the day, I’m not studying for being an actor. So it’s great they didn’t expect 5 star acting. I would recommend just starting it and getting it done, I was nervous to start it and it took me a little bit but once I actually did it then I got it over with reasonably quickly.

Overall, completing the Advanced Diploma in CSM was a wonderful experience with Upskilled. The feedback I received was really empowering and encouraging which gave me more motivation throughout the time. It kept me wanting to do more and learn more and really solidified why I am doing what I am doing.

Overall, this course helped me be a better manager and understand more such as finances and organisational changes and helped me support my staff throughout different areas.

I really recommend Upskilled for those who are time poor due to their full time jobs and it really improves time management skills too. If I was to go back to studying, I would definitely do this through Upskilled again!
