My new istore hot system. water doesn't stop at the out let I been ringing them for 3 months now they say plumber coming out to have a look but no one has been.we have turned out iStore off since November last year .I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

My 33-year-old Solar Edwards Solar HWS needed replacing. I did some research and wanted a Reclaim Energy unit, but couldn't find a local installer. Through Solar Quotes, I was contacted by Ureco. saying they need full payment up front which I really didn't agree with and it really isn't normal business practice to pay for something you haven't received as many stories from consumers where a contractor has not turned up once they have been paid. I recently had a split system AC installed and only paid 50% up front with the balance paid after installation which is the appropriate way to conduct a business transaction. Anyway Alex insisted by text that this was their policy and asked if I wanted to cancel the installation and made some reference to (exact quote) "Just like Woolworths, you don't say you'll pay once you cooked it and it tastes good (unquote)... Hmmmm OK. I said that as long as the heater was guaranteed to be installed today then I would pay up front. Alex said they would be here between 1 and 2pm however Scott the plumber texted me at 11.26 saying the ETA was 12.15 which was fine. All I can say is that Scott and his offsider were very professional and friendly and did a very good job on the installation and also did a great job of removing my old rooftop solar water heater. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and Scott didn't even insist on being paid on the spot and is going to send me an invoice which I will pay immediately. If you are happy to pay for a $2999 item upfront from a business you have never dealt with before I highly recommend Ureco and Scott the plumber. I hope that their backup service is as good in case of any future issues.
Ureco helped to identify the best position for our new Reclaim heat pump, and visited the site to make sure the connection was possible. upstairs and downstairs showers. That was a difficult plumbing connection but the plumbers did a great job. The unit is working well one month later. I look forward to future servicing and maintenance of the unit by Ureco.

value for money AND a quality product, you MUST to be willing to pay the appropriate price tag. I purchased the 400 litre, glass lined, with WiFi. To replace my original 300 litre solar was going to be $1,000 less than the biggest heat pump unit, with a rust proof glass lining, WiFi control, (which gives me total control of timing, temp, and a record of use), and the longest warranty. They provided a timeline of installation, sent a clearly marked photo to the Electrician, and my system was ready to use the day it was installed. Now for the most convincing part! My previous electricity bill was over $900. My next bill, even though the system was installed a week after the last bill was calculated, was a little over $450. I have 22 solar panels, I never have to pay to heat my hot water ever again. I will try to remember to send a second review in 5 years time, but I am confident, it will also be a raving positive. There will always be sad and lonely people who will mis-understand and complain about everything, but don't let that kind of review cloud your view. This is the highest quality investment you can make for your house. I am already planning to vent the cool air from the condenser of this system into the house for summer, so it doubles as a free air conditioner too! You can't do that with Electric Instant or Gas Storage systems.

As I had already done my research I knew that the product and price offered was competitive and fair so was happy to proceed. By the next afternoon we had hot water the installers were very professional and thorough. So, far the unit has performed as expected. Thanks to Alex and the team on a job well done.

URECO was a great choice – A job well done from purchase to completion. The new unit works much better than the old one ever did. I particularly would like to thank the install guys for a great job including carrying out my request to remove the redundant gas line above the roof line.

Incompetent and immature – Super disappointed. Had a heat pump installed. Instantly noticed that the taps in the ensuite were boiling hot. Not their fault supposedly. Removed] that it doesn't affect performance. Wasn't happy paying over 6.5k for a dented and scratched system but again let it slide, against my better judgement. I didn't want to be a painful customer. I posted on a FB group and was asked to take it down. I did.
Over a year later and the unit stops. I posted on a FB group, as it was a Sunday when it happened, hoping someone could offer advice. [Name Removed] asked me to remove the post. I did. There was no urgency to get it sorted. Was advised that if it is the power outlet it may not be under warranty. After consulting consumer protection, I advised that this is not the case. [Name Removed] stated he is aware of consumer laws. I was asked if I remember who the electrician was. I don't as never saw them and it was arranged through Ureco. Then told to refer to my esc. No certificate was given to me. Then it's suggested it may be ants or rats causing the issue. Advised my property was recently inspected and that is not the case. I contacted manufacturer at this point. [Name Removed] had someone come over the next day after this. This second electrician said they would make sure that I get an esc for the install.
Turns out it was a loose screw at the switchboard according to the electrician. Was advised someone would reach out to sort out the hot water system. I follow up with a message asking if someone is coming and for the esc. At this stage I had a new number so lost number of electrician. No reply. I email and ensure like always I include the manufacturer. Suddenly it turns super sour. I am accused of more things. I post on the FB group. I am also threatened by [Name Removed] with no hot water.
There are so many amazing trades to choose from. I would recommend you AVOID URECO and support someone else who has maturity, professionalism and integrity. We work hard for our money, why waste it on incompetence.

Supplied and Installed HWS which has failed every 2 years since purchase – Purchased Envirosun TS300 in 2018. By 2020 it failed. Ureco promptly repaired it, but when asked if there was something that would make a part fail so quickly we were told it was just unfortunate and shouldnt happen again. 2022 the same part failed and sane questions asked again brushed off. Australia Consumer Law stating that under Consumer Guarantee the seller is responsible to repair defected product without charge. When questioned further about why part keeps failing and if we will have to continue to repair every couple of years we have been rebuffed by Ureco. Perhaps the part is defective and should be replaced by manufacturer. Or perhaps the water quality in our region is damaging the part, in which case we should have been informed if that possibility when purchasing. Either way Ureco will not respond to our queries and simply demands payment for the repairs.
Now 7 years since installation of our envirosun solar hws and it has completely failed and needs to be replaced. Advised by Ureco it is out of warranty. Completely corroded panels and gushing out water. When replaced by different company we asked if tank could still be used as its stainless steel and only 7 years old. we were told that as it isnt marine grade stainles steel it shouldnt be sold in WA due to water quality and it is completely corroded as well.
Recommend you query exactly what grade stainless steel as i have since been advised by new installer that only marine grade is suitable for perth water.
Looking at the unprofessional way they respond to issues should be a warning to anyone looking to purchase through them.

Warning: Don't give them your credit card details – Overall the install was ok, not great but ok. But they will keep your credit card details even if you ask them not to and then freely lie to get you off their back when you call them out on it. The app works well the unit is exceptionally quiet and it uses less than 800 watts a day to heat my 220litre tank to 59 degrees .i would certainly recommend Ureco for a heat pump supply and installation company. enough hot water for everyone and as yet have had no need to boost the water over night ,Only for a few hrs on overcast/rainy days . Just checked the water temp in the morning after mid June 7C min overnight and the hot water is 51C. Hassle free install and no mess to clean up

installers were delightful, polite and effecient and left no mess. The site was left clean and tidy. We are a 2 person household so 200L was recomended by Ureco, we have had the unit for over one month and no problem with it and have not run out of hot water. Would not hesitate to recomend Ureco.

A very professional team – From intial contact to final installation the team at URECO were fist class. Every question was answered, if I rang and the line was busy they called back promptly. The installation team were on time, the installation was very neat given the tank and pump were on adjacent walls and they cleaned up before they left. iHeat solar hot water – Installed only less than 3 months ago. So far one of two panels are covered up and getting plenty of hot water without switching electrical booster.
