Excellent, well priced pram! – I love this pram! I did quite a bit of research and had a list of requirements that I wanted when buying a pram for my baby. Lightweight, large basket, forwards and backwards facing, decent tyres, easy to fold, fits in the boot of my car, suits newborn to toddler, well priced....etc. This ticks all the boxes! It lays flat for newborns without… Read more ·  1

needing a bassinet attachment (however one is available if you need one), the basket underneath is large, the 'Tailormade' colours are lovely (I got grey), and it has a large hood to pull over for shade (as well as the boot cover for winter). It is one of the lightest prams on the market which is great for me as I'm not very strong. It folds down without having to take it apart, and the seat can be placed facing the parent or facing outwards. You can even buy a snack tray attachment which looks great (but I don't have one). Only negative is it is difficult/fiddly to adjust the strap lengths as baby grows. It is a nice looking pram (especially with my custom pram liner and strap covers!). I still use it now (2.5 years later) and it can be used up to 20kg! Overall, I am very happy with this pram and I would definitely buy it again, and recommend it to others! Fantastic value for money!

16-months going strong - love our pram – Extremely satisfied with our purchase. We spent hours and hours choosing this pram and comparing it (in-store) to other models for qualities including 1) back support 2) ease of lifting 3) ease of clicking harness on 4) ease of steering 5) sun shade 6) basket size. This pram has been used a lot, and we haven't been shy about taking it on uneven… Read more ·  1

surfaces (dirt, rocks) and it hasn't skipped a beat. The seat is easy to adjust, I love that you can have it facing forwards or backwards.

The sun shade is extremely generous, and is so easy to flick back and forward (no levers required). It has a large basket underneath which is easy to access and you can slot in big nappy bags easily.

Although this pram can recline flat, I would recommend buying the newborn bassinet; we used it for the first maybe 3-4 months - it is just comfier for the baby, nice and flat, and no straps in the way.

The pram manoeuvres smoothly, even with one hand. It's a lovely looking pram.

When I see other people with it, I always comment to my husband about what a nice pram it is!

It is a two-piece pram, which means you have to click the seat in place but it's easy. That just means it's not as heavy to lift in your boot.

Two small negatives. 1) When the seat is facing outwards (baby away from you) it is slightly more fiddly to click in and out of place. 2) We bought the leather handlebar covers (which I think you need because I hate the feel of the rubbery stuff that comes as standard). The tan covers look great but they tend to twist around easy - just looks a little askew but otherwise doesn't affect anything.

I LOVE this pram and will look to this brand when we need a double, without hesitation.

Lightweight, attractive & a dream to push – After a lot of research I purchased the Valco Baby Snap Ultra Tailor made in grey marle & I’m in love. The pram is super light weight & a dream to push. The storage basket under the pram is large & easy to access even when the seat is fully reclined. My baby is lying flat in bassinet mode and seems very comfortable. My favourite feature of the… Read more ·  1

pram is the extra large hood with the ventilation panel - With the boot cover on the hood will close completely keeping your little one protected from the sun, rain etc. An all round great pram & fantastic value for money. I additionally purchased the tan leather handle bar covers to protect the handles. Highly recommend.

Good pram overall – This is a good pram overall for the price. It's pretty sturdy, yet fairly lightweight. It's great being able to have the option to change the seat facing, and the recline of the seat makes it easy to change when bubs gets tired. It maneuvers really well, even off-path, and it is easy to apply the brake lock. It has a decent sized basket at the… Read more ·  1

bottom. There is a wrist strap and a decent seat harness for safety, which can be used as 5 point or 3 point depending on the ease you want of getting bubs in and out. Also different attachments with belly bar and toddler tray. The pram has good longevity too - my 2 yr old has been in it since birth, so it's great that it grows with bubs. Biggest drawbacks for me: 1) When I collapse the frame, I always have to pull the basket base up as it doesn't collapse/fold very well into itself. 2) The travel strap always gets in the way of bags in the basket and there's no way to remove it. 3) The basket can be hard to get at depending which way the seat is facing. 4) The toddler tray comes with a cup holder which is kind of annoying as it doesn't really hold any cups that well and just falls in and out of the tray, floating around my boot.

The service is terrible. Regret buying this pram – I personally regret buying this pram. First off, I thought it was just difficult to fold the seat attached until someone showed it to me that I didn't have to. That when we realised the buttons were jammed. It was still under warranty so we got it checked out and replaced. When we got the seat back it literally got jammed again after one fold. We… Read more

then went to the retailer and spoke to them regarding the problem. The manager said apparently they are refusing to fix it again because they had just put a new fitting in and apparently we used too much force folding it. As if it was our fault. I then showed the manager of the retailer how I fold it. The manager replaced the seat with the display model for the mean time until Valco fixes our seat. Our daughter was born in August so really we haven't been using it for too long. The pram itself is pretty average. The bassinet mode is good, although we use a liner to make it softer for our baby. The seat belt is difficult to adjust. When reclining the seat, it looks until at the back. Suspension is average, good on flat surface only. Our tyre got pierced by a screw- still works. As first time parents, I wish the salesperson showed us different prams ans show features we need in a pram. I wish I had bought a different pram all together regardless of the price.

Great pram - super light but some adjustments needed – For the price, this pram is amazing! I love the style and that you can attach a Bassinet as we did in the beginning. It’s great how simple it is to fold down and that it’s extremely light. I love that the canopy folds all the way over bub, when she’s sleeping, we recline the seat all the way back, pull the canopy over and she’s in a little cocoon.… Read more

The only issues I have is you can put a pram caddy onto the pram handlebar however, you can’t use it very well (holding coffee/ cups or water) as it makes the caddy very narrow and if you can place a coffee or drink in there, it spills or the lid pops off. The other issue I find is when carrying a nappy bag, it doesn’t fit underneath in the basket (and I don’t have a big bag at all!) but you also can’t hang it off the handle bars as it just slides down as it’s a very slick straight handle. Overall I do love my snap ultra. I love it more than the tailormade as I didn’t love the look of the toggle pull to recline or sit bub up and it’s great that if you’re taller, you don’t have to bend down to the floor to get bub.

I highly recommend you buy the sports pack tyres to go with this pram too! They’re great for all terrains and are easy to pump up!

High quality, Good prices – Bought baby pram Valco Snap Ultra, Bassinet and accessories. Very happy with how easy it is to use ie: put together, push and steer. Accessories fit nicely eg; rain cover, boot cover and nappy bag. Having had a few prams it is one of the most light weight making it easier to lift into the car. To top it off it looks nice. Show reply

Loved our stroller, well built! – We love our Valco stroller! It's well built, stylish and very practical. Having the lay down flat feature was brilliant and we used it all the time. The under carriage area stored quite a lot of bags as well. It fold down really well but the only downside is that its not that light however I guess thats a tradeoff for the features it has. Price was great and brand is Australian which I prefer to support. Show details

Not a pram I would buy again, not terrible but it’s got flaws – Not comfortable do newborns or young babies as they are always in a bucket position instead of being flat. Seat is completely removed before folding the pram making it very bulky for storage in the car. The sun shield is good, the basket is good and the wheels and manoeuvring is easy.

Light and easy to push good quality – I have had my Valco Ultra for almost 2 years now, it works as it is brand new, very light, easy to push and easy to clean, happy with it but can suggest a few things to improve. although the pram has some great features, you must take the seat out to fold it and store it, it becomes very hard to fold with the seat attached, always must take the… Read more ·  1

seat out then fold. that is becaue it can be pushed forward and backward, the seat is adjustable so its hard to fold with the seat on. the seat belt takes ages to buckle and ca be tricky, but not a big deal once you re used to it. other than that it is a great pram, very practical and light, my baby is 2 years old and still love it and sleep in it, fits her perfectly.

Plenty of room for a growing baby! – We had this Pram for a year now, first bought it when I gave birth last September 2019 It was a great buy, it has plenty of room for your baby to grow, from newborn to toddlerhood. Pros: Great money Value. Great for grocery shopping and other errands. Cons: Bulky and not lightweight. I would not recommend this if your travelling overseas or domestic, though. Show details ·  1

This pram is all you need – This pram I love how it converts from a bassinet to a toddler seat all in one. The back rest which can be adjusted is perfect for babies that have reflux as they don’t have to be lying flat. And when the baby gets bigger and wants to look around it’s perfect. The hood has great coverage and air ventilation. Good size basket underneath. I… Read more ·  1

personally fold the pram up with the bassinet attached. By doing this the pram is very long when folded up but no problem when you have a soccer mum car! To unfold the pram is easy and is a good weight when carrying and lifting.

I do sometimes find the button on the handle hard to push in when folding the pram up but overall very happy!!

Great Pram – Mine is a few years old but absolutely love it. Has been an awesome second Pram!! I had a more expensive fancier pram In another brand before this, and I had nothing but problems. has good suspension and I have never punctured a tyre yet and I walk 45mins to an hour most days of the week. Also has a nice big hood, so amazing for sun protection, and has been so helpful when my son has fallen asleep to keep noise and light out. I’m out in the sun almost everyday with it, and it’s not faded a bit.

Only thing that would have been great is a leather handle and bumper the foam can wear easily (or be chewed through easily)

Great pram but can sometimes be difficult to close – This is a good value for money pram. We paid $500 for it and it came with a bassinet. It's reversible too. It's not too heavy so it's easy to pull out of the car, but I sometimes find it hard to close. If I was to recommend a colour, I would go for black. We bought the taupe colour and I noticed that there are water stains where I have spot cleaned it. Show details ·  2

Massive safety flaw! – Warning to all parents to be very careful with this pram! I thought I had purchased a lightweight easy to use pram that was safe for my 4 month old daughter. to think what could have happened to her! This is the second pram I have purchased in 4 months as the first pram (another Valco baby) had another fault with the studs and the cover. Staff at the store said the seat appeared to be faulty as it wasn’t clicking in properly so offered to replace it however after two seperate issues, I have changed to a different brand.

Good pram for price – I went and look for a new pram for my new bub after my old pram had been used for 4yrs. I picked this because it's reversible, great price compared to the similar function ones in the market. Light weight. However I would prefer if the handle of the pram is adjustable, and if they can include a few accessories when purchasing it would be even better for value. Show details ·  1

Happy, but a few flaws – Pros: sun shade goes right over, versatile seat come bassinet style which can face both front or back. Nice height for tall people-though when I’m on power walk my feet do kick the bottom of pram. Fair weight not too heavy. Cons: 5 months now-it’s starting to just feel a bit ‘rickety’ the brake on it-I wouldn’t trust it could be tighter. I’ve… Read more ·  1

already had problems. Screws came out of the sun shade cover, the foot cover elastic is all stretched out and the compartment at the bottom has torn (nope we haven’t overfilled it).

All in all happy enough but for the money you pay, it’s a bit tacky in some areas.

Great stroller, but it broke after 20 months – We liked everything about this stroller, except that it broke after 20 months of use - it was out of warranty and we did not get 2 years out of it before sending it to landfill. There is a wire inside the rear axle, which allows control of the brakes, and this wire just snapped putting the brakes on permanently to one side. We are disappointed… Read more ·  1

because we've owned cheaper strollers that have lasted twice as long.

In any case, we did like the way this stroller manoeuvred, the extendable sun shade and reversible seat. The stroller is also at a good height and is light weight. The only thing lacking in this stroller is durability and perhaps it is not as easy to fold up quickly for commuting on a bus or train as some others.
