The whole process went very smoothly, taking 9 months from the knock down of the old house to building our brand-new custom 5-bedroom home with two decks and a large balcony. Any minor issues since handover have been addressed quickly, and they are always responsive, and easy to deal with every step of the way. found Valletta's standard finishes to be very inclusive with no need to upgrade. Valletta were very transparent with all costs and kept us within budget. The process with our local council was mostly managed by Valletta and despite long wait times, Valletta did the chasing and kept us informed at each stage. The selection process was exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I'd suggest having lots of inspiration and ideas of what you want before embarking on this process, we had ideas but struggled with too many choices. Our electrical selections were conducted via zoom, in future I would insist on this being face-to-face. The allowances for selection items were reasonable, we did exceed some of the allowances but this was something we had budgeted for.
The build and quality of workmanship were excellent and expertly managed by our site supervisor. We were able to visit the site, ask questions and were genuinely kept informed. If we had concerns they were quickly investigated and responded to promptly - we are currently working through post-build tweaks and the Valletta team have been excellent in arranging trades as needed. We had a fixed-price contract - so there were no building blowouts or unexpected building costs. We would highly recommend Valletta Homes!

We wanted a bespoke design which they were happy to accommodate and the process from start to finish was seamless. We completed the build at the end of 2023 and we are more than happy with the result. The quality of the build is excellent, the fixtures and fittings were all of good quality , they delivered on time and there was no gouging of variations once we started the build. Valletta team was professional, helpful, quality (workmanship) and we didn’t feel like just a number. It was a very personalized experience. It was the first time ever that we have done a handover with a builder and there was absolutely no faults that had to be fixed. We also loved that Valetta has thought of everything that should be included in a build that other companies make you upgrade too. This was a big plus! Also, there were NO hidden costs like we have had pop up in the past with other builders. From day 1 to handover the cost remained the same. The build time was also 100% on time. They actually finished our build before we thought! We can’t wait to build our next home with Valletta.

flexibility was great. The selection for tiles, appliances, roof, kitchen and others was easy and the staff assisting us were helpful and knowledgeable. I must say the electricity selection was not as easy as the others, their staff was not as helpful in providing advice, this would have been better if the consultation was " A consultation" and not "an order taker". But if you read this, well take your time to ask the questions. The end result is AMAZING, Valetta built a house in 31 weeks with Xmas in the middle. the finishes are top class, and the quality of the product is amazing, we deviated a bit from the "builders range" in some areas and when we compare the upgraded with their basic selection, is gratifying seeing that all merge. The Valletta team works like a Swiss watch, all are very patient and courteous. The price was pretty accurate, I can't complain but I would advise reading the contract with someone that can EXPLAIN it clearly, this was our first experience. As anything there have been some issues after, but all have been fixed promptly and effectively. I highly recommend Valletta, from planning to handover they scored 10/10

My family are extremely grateful to Rodney, Matthew, Teena, Lara, Elijah and all the people who work behind the scenes at Valletta Homes.
Whilst it is expected that a new build will have some issues, there weren’t many, Valletta were quick to resolve the couple of issues in a timely manner which coincided with Valletta’s busy period leading up to Christmas and shutdown of services. Rodney even called to apologise for the very minor issue, which just shows that Valletta homes is not like most builders, they really do care about their customers and the finished product.
Valletta Homes not only kept us informed throughout the build, they worked with us to make sure our house was exactly what we wanted even changing things during the build without any fuss.
Had a beautiful gift waiting on the countertop when we met Matthew for handover.
We will be sure to use Valletta homes for any future builds.
