scanned letter about the company creditors meeting in Hong Kong, so looks like they've folded. Paid on my credit card so will see if I can get a chargeback from my bank. So frustrating how can they have been allowed to keep trading and taking people's money when it was clear internally the products would not be delivered?!

However! They really surprised me and bumped my order to priority shipping after the second day I placed my order. I ordered on a Sunday night and I received the product (shipped from Hong Kong) that Friday. It was ridiculously fast. The camera is exactly as described, functions great, and everything went smoothly. I am very happy with the service and the product.

Today I have been notified by fair trading that valuebasket has shut down their website and have stopped responding. My only chance is to lodge a chargeback with my bank which I have just done. week, but their website shows 5 in stock!!! So I decided to cancel the order and get refund on 26/Jun/2016 and got order cancellation email from them next day. Since then I've been calling them up every single week (5 times totally) to chase up the refund, every time they gave me same excuse "Finance System Issue" and want me to wait for another week to see. When I ask them if you can refund me by any other means like bank check and they refused. And even worse they cannot give you a set date when they can do the refund. Then it is getting suspicious and finally Google led me here and everything is clear.
They are not going to ship anything nor the refund!!! So I take the advice here from other cheated customers and yes "FAIR TRADE" is where you go first.

ordered it and i did so cause it was 150GBP cheaper than in the shop,... In the end i had to get a loan and buy it in the shop anyway (at that point it costed 50GBP less than at Valuebasket). So i am still waiting for a refund from Valuebasket.com and if i could afford it i would sew them for compensation because of all the troubles they caused me. think it is emotional opinion of inpatient customer please check other opinion on this "shop". Not only here - there is plenty of complaints, especially since February - March this year. They sell goods they don't have.
Need to mention they pick one customer one out of 10 (or 20 or 100 - who knows?), to provide the delivery to get positive feedback (there are some, can't deny this), but all others loose the money and beg for mercy and refund.
I lost 1100 EUR and hope that I'm one of the latest who put order there. I encourage you to share your opinion.on this "shop" wherever you can, use local sites. Don't be shy. If you stay silent they would run this fraud forever cheating new buyers. This is the only activity we can use to stop this fraud business.

I began doing searching for reviews on valuebasket (I should have done this before placing my order) and found many others having the same issue and receiving the same responses. I have not requested a refund today. I hope that they honour that and refund the money without delay although many complain that this is also an area where valuebasket fail to meet their obligations to their customers.
There appears to be blatant fraud occurring here yet they are still taking people's money!
I have learnt a valuable lesson. Always research the company you are planning on purchasing from before you proceed.
Terrible – Payed for a OSMO then they wanted my personal details like some bills to proof it was me. Never received invoice or proof of payment. I called them in Hong Kong demanded my money back. Now two weeks into waiting for my refund after cancelling the order and no sign of a refund being processed, phone calls and emails to them have resulted in my refund request being "escalated", but still no action.

Update 30/06/2016 - they have finally sent me the email that they are processing my refund, not sure if it due to my complaint to NSW Fair Trading or that I have initiated a dispute with my bank, either way it has taken them over three weeks to initiate a refund that should have taken no more than five days.
Absence of post-sale customer service – My smartphone stopped working after 10 days of use. I've requested full refund. They wanted to organise a local pick up. My parcel has been ready with all paperwork but courier has not picked it up yet - every day during last 14 days I've been contacting them, every day I have been promised to have it organised.. no result yet...

I have been told I will get it on a certain date then there was delays now there's maintenance then it will take five days. All the time I am getting excuses but no refund. apologies and being placed as a priority, but still no money back. I have escalated that with NAB and the operator actually told me these guys are notorious for this kind of issue. They are NOT in Melbourne or anywhere in Australia. They are full of lies, and I wish the ACCC would get their act together and sort this out. still not received any information as to when my product was being delivered, so I decided to contact the company. I was reassured that the product would be delivered to me, they just had a small backlog due to unforeseen increases in orders. I was fine with this and continued to wait for my product. The next time I contacted ValueBasket was the 24th of May, to which I was given the same response and was also told that my order would be moved to priority listing, so still I waited. I contacted ValueBasket again on the 31st of May and the 8th of June where they were unable to present me with any new information, at this point I was feeling as if they has stolen money out of my account and they were unwilling to provide any new information to me. Eventually, on the 20th of June, they finally admitted that they had, in fact, ran out of stock for the FitBit Blaze and would not be getting any more in stock. They tried to resolve the issue by telling me I could have a different product, which I denied as I have lost all faith in the company. So take this as a warning, do not buy items that you want from ValueBasket as they will more than likely not arrive.

At this stage I will be taking the matter further to as far as I can and posting reviews on every available site warning of Valuebasket trading practises. I also go to HongKong a bit and will be attending their offices with local police to resolve this matter.
Beware Value Basket. They operated under some pretty shady parameters and have effectively stolen my unit with little correspondence and definitely zero outcomes.
Valuebasket is a scam, don't buy – Waited more than a month and my order has not been dispatched yet, evasive answers from customer service. I've recently asked refund, but they haven't even answered my emails, if I don't receive my refund by tomorrow I'll be reporting the case to the local authorities.
