Scammers stay away!!!! – Happy to take my money, $330 then was contacted by Matt/Mark Sent me one one to look at. Then never heard from them again! Tried to send an email to the same email address I have been chatting to them through. All the sudden the email address is not found and I cannot contact them by phone. What a scam!!! Stay away!!
Lots of Lie. Fake insurance. Be careful! – Horrible experience and lots of lie. They give me one month insurance for the car I bought. When I was driving back home from Brisbane to the Whitsundays there was the vibration in the front suspension and a noise. I called them and they asked to do the wheel alignment. There was also the break vibrations, when I was slowing down from the high… Read more
speed. I went to the mechanic and did the wheel alignment. After the road test he said that the breaks and front CV shafts needs to be done and they are making noise and the vibration. I've sent them the message and the mechanics paperwork, but they've said that it sounds strange, cause the owner of the company and [Name Removed] did drive this car home many times and didn't feel anything. Firstly, when I call them, [Name Removed] said to me that they had never driven this car on a high speed, that's why they might be missed this issues. It was a complete lie. Moreover, they refused to pay for the repair, even if they given me the one month warranty. Now, I have to pay for all this repairs and go to court, cause they don't care. I had never experience this kind of lie and really upset about my experience with Car Auctions Pacific.
Rip off. They don't have access to special car auctions – Sign up to Gray's online and you have the same access to the so-called dealers auctions. Mechanical reports are garbage and does not contain any detail a normal mechanical report would typically contain Save your time and money. Stay away

Best purchase I have ever made – Never ever would i have ever thought I could get my baby at the price that I paid I tried my luck with my bid and I WON staff were absolutely a delight to deal with from the very first phone call to delivery 100% would recommend VAA to anyone!!
Let's go Camping! – This was a new way for us to get a vehicle, and initially did feel a little rushed. However now that I've got the vehicle I couldn't be happier and cannot wait to take it out camping! Suzie was exceptional in helping us get into the vehicle and taking delivery of it. At the end of the day, this is a great way to source a ca.
Best way to find a car! – I signed up on a Wednesday and had my car the following Monday, I couldn’t believe how quickly they found a car for me. I'd like to say thanks to Suzie for going above and beyond to help in getting the car transported ASAP. Recommend to anyone looking for a car.

Saved 3k off a Hilux – Ive been looking for a long time for a clean Hilux, every one I found was rough around the edges. VAA found me a super clean car well within my budget, Took a week to arrive and didn't disappoint.
Super Star Team – Thank you to the VAA Team on helping me with the purchase of my car this week. I have been in the market with pre approved finance for a month. I was struggling to find what I wanted for the best price and to also do the research required while working 50 hr weeks and being a single parent. From my initial call, I can’t remember this man’s name,… Read more
but he was amazing! Made the whole process easy, quick and stress free. Cooper and Suzie are absolute “Super Stars” and Suzie has gone out of her way to assist me with the after sale delivery also. Both of these people are a credit to your company and team, I very much appreciate both of their help more than they know.
Couldn't be any happier – VAA has helped me so much when buying a new car, they made it so simple for me, so much easier than buying it straight from a dealership. The staff was lovely and so nice, and I couldn't of asked for better, thank you so much Vehicle Auctions Australia.

Worst decision of my life – Beware , do not buy from VAA. I bought a van to convert to a camper van with my son, the vehicle in the report was said to be in good condition ( interior, exterior and overall) and fair for the age of the vehicle ( 2012). Paid to have the vehicle delivered. Upon delivery to my work place it was sent to the mechanics ( 10 meters away) for a… Read more
service and check. It was found to have done 1000 k plus more than the safety certificate on arrival and all the lights on the dash came on. The mechanic said it was not safe to drive and gave me a quote for $8000 plus dollars ( and six weeks for parts) to fix it. Also the Van was valued by the insurance $5000 less than I paid so hardly a trade price. they do not answer any of my emails and requests to see the invoice from the dealer they bought it from on my behalf.
SCAM - DO NOT GO NEAR THEM – Told by Danielle (see December 2020 review!!) the sales person who initially made contact that the vehicle I was after was achievable, budget reduced and again continually assured they could get me what I wanted/needed for my special needs family. Questioned quality of vehicles after lack of service history available on cars sent and was told not… Read more
available despite apparently all cars being ex-government... (would expect meticulous service history) suddenly no contact, 2 sales reps, Matthew and Mark suddenly no longer employed there, not returning phones calls or emails, phone number on website charged 3 times in the past 2 days. Complaint to ACCC and Office of Fair Trading.
Only wish I’d seen this review page before paying $330 only to find out they’re a bunch of liars and happy to take advantage of people who genuinely could use assistance finding a vehicle.
DON’t GO NEAR THEM.
DO NOT APPOINT Vehicle Auctions Australia!!! ..................BUYER BEWARE – I Robert paid an amount of $350 to appoint the services of Vehicle Auctions Australia to help me source a vehicle. As they advertise they have access to thousands of dealer auctions that public viewers cant access?? I had not received leads to vehicles in private dealer auctions so i contacted VAA to ask why i have paid a service to provide access… Read more
to these auctions when all i am receiving from VAA are leads that i can veiw in public auctions and not any in private dealers auctions?? I then found and negotiated a deal with a private seller for a vehicle for the amount of $28,000 the seller accepted my offer. I then called Mark from VAA to inform him i have now agreed to an amount on a vehicle. VAA (Mark) explained how he will contact the seller and arrange payment and delivery of the motor vehicle. VAA had the instructed me to deposit the amount of $28,000.00 into VAA account to secure the vehicle, I did. VAA then Renegotiated!!! the deal i had agreed on with the seller for an amount of $27,500.00!!! VAA never contacted and consoled this new price amount with me on the vehicle i had just agreed to buy for an amount of $28,000.00, VAA had then after instructing me to make the deposit of $28,000.00 transferred an amount of $27,500.00 to the seller. VAA forwarded me a receipt for the full deposit of $28,000.00 for the purchase of a second hand vehicle. I have then received a receipt from the private seller the owner of the vehicle i just agreed to an amount of $28,000.00 for an amount on the receipt of $27,500.00. VAA has clearly transferred an amount of $27,500.00 into the sellers account and not the amount of $28,000.00 that i had instructed them to do and appointed there services for the sale of the vehicle. I have made a police report this will be investigated. I would require the amount of $500 transferred directly back into my account by VAA. I have records and receipts of all the dealings and correspondence from VAA, Myself and the private seller. I paid the full service fee of $350 for the service of VAA there was not disclosure of any other fees involved or charges for there services. I also paid an amount of $800 for vehicle transport. I have cancelled this arrangement and have been refunded $700 of the $800 paid. I require an amount of $100 to be refunded from the transport cost as advised by Mark from VAA.
I require the full total amount of $600 plus the $350 service fee to be refunded back to my account by end of business day.
The $350 service fee was all i was disclosed in to be the amount that VAA will charge to assist helping obtaining a vehicle. Not to have them undertake a new agreed amount and not pass the true reflective cost of the vehicle onto me the customer. I have had my money stolen and have been ripped off and scammed by VAA.
I am now taking this matter further, to ensure VAA do not do this to any one else. This Email has been forwarded to the Office of Fair Trading, ACCC and my legal support. Please reply as you have the right of reply.

2 cars for 2 daughters – We have now purchased 2 cars for our 2 daughters and we were able to get them at great prices. They were in good condition for their age and kilometres driven. Jay was very driven to find us just the right car both times and Suzie went above and beyond with her service. Thank you so much everyone for a great job!
My dream car – Thanks to this awesome team of people I have managed to purchase my dream car, with no troubles at all, I couldn’t be happier to thank Suzie and the awesome team of people who helped me peruse my dream of getting from A to B in style.
NEVER AGAIN – I let these people find me a 4x4 Ford Ranger 2012 with inspections and roadworthy. spent 20K on the purchase and this car should never have been on the road. went to pick up the car on saturday and the car didnt start. noticed leaking rear shock absorbers, took the car home and noticed a big crack on the front right wall of the tyre.- so by day 2… Read more
spent $500 for tyres +$250 for battery. the car was at some time submerged in mud and is totally rusty inside with mud every where inside the car . rust on the roof and back window + rust inside the car looking at $2600 to fix. the car also didnt have a service for over 30,000 km so i had to do an instant service, with oils and filters spent $ 300+ also CV joints $400 bought but not fitted yet. the car also had 1mm on the front brake pads .. no brainer had to fix that $ 80 - the photos that i was sent to view the car were not accurate, had to re-install uhf radio $220 + areal $100 also was missing the window wind deflectors RHS $95 then had to buy matching for LHS $75. also had no tyre changing tool kit, so that was from memory $100 from Ford- also the rear set clip as the seat was not secure $28- then transmission shift bolts $30. vehicle came with blue and red flashing lights in headlight (highly illegal) all wiring in the car is a dogs breckfast. Currently the car is at a 4x4 mechanics for a full inspection and he has already called me telling me this car should never have passed a roadworthy. needs rear shock absorbers $200 each, tie rod ends not sure on price, needs rear springs. car needs a full day at the auto electricians for rewiring. i think at the end of it all i will easy spend 6K to get the car back to a safe condition. i thought by using this service it would eliminate any worries about buying a car. I was very wrong and will never use this service again. i hope this warning will serve other people.
Do it yourself – Honestly the most average, actually way below average service I have ever used. I was sucked in after looking for a new/used dual cab ute without success and found their website. They called and give me the spiel about saving thousands etc. I was over looking for cars so I gave them a go after being told there was a seamless end of cars to… Read more
choose from. My dealings were that I was sent vehicles (and not many over a 3 week period. About 8-9) with many more Km's then I wanted or the cars were going over my budget. Most of the cars I was given were on the Pickles or Manheim website not the 'Dealer Only' auctions they have access to. Worst $220 investment ever!!!!
So I went back to looking for myself and found one.
Just do the leg work yourselves guys. You will finish up with a much better vehicle at a better price than these guys will find for you.
Absolute SCAM , – They are advertising that they have 40 000 cars on stock list , asking you to apply for stock list ,than you have to give your personal information . You will have a phone call from them ( no list of any kind) telling you that they can get you a car for 3-5 K less then the retail price . If you ask the caller about the stock list he'll tell you… Read more
that they do not have any as they are not dealers, also ask you for membership fee. That's when I hang up. Do not be fulled by they website .
AVOID Don't fall into their trap – The prices VAA say are on offer are worse than a dealer. Then you still have the other onroads fees to pay as well as already paying $600+ for the service the salesman let slip should have been $220. Initially told by the telemarketer there is a warranty included etc to justify the price. I was initially offered cars actually from dealers… Read more
(wholesalers) who have mostly bought it cheaper at an auction like they are meant to be offering you and you are still buying sight unseen (the first one had dents and damage to the bumper just visible in low definition photos). It also seems once I said to source from auctions only that they are marking up on the side. Read elsewhere you do not get the official receipt from the auction to check the true purchase pricing and they do expect a very high buy up to price for what is on offer. I gave up in the end and they would not refund the payment. The cars they send are more often than not what is requested e.g. 4x2 when requested 4x4, extracab when requested dualcab. Price not even close to what they advertised is available to get the business. Just a TIME WASTING SCAM till you give up and they keep the money. AVOID
Scammers – They genuinely told me everything was fine. I questioned the bad reviews I saw but was persuaded to pay the money to then have little to no cars sent. I was told before paying the amount that there were HEAPS of car I was looking for & under my budget but then once I paid and was put onto the guys that help you actually find the car. There wasn’t… Read more
a single one in my price range?. These guys will tell you what you want to hear and will keep going til they get their money. As that is all they care about. DO NOT USE
Was very happy with the vehicle we purchased. Suzie was great to deal with, have no hesitation recommending them – We didn’t have much to choose from as there was a specific vehicle we were chasing. Being only made a year ago limited our choices. There was only one available so we didn’t really have much bargaining room. But all in all very happy with our b purchase
Liars and theifs – First they talk you into believing you will save money. That way they get your "Brokers Fees" to act on your behalf. Second they talk you into being prepared to pay what may as well be retail price. Third they refuse to tell you where the vehicle was purchased and the price they actually paid so they can charge you the maximum amount you agreed to. I intend to sue

Mob of robbers – Mob of robbers they make out they got vehicles to suit you once you pay all they send are vehicles that don't even meet the description that you describe them . they told me that the vehicles they supply come out of dealer only auctions one of the vehicles that they sent me was in a GraysOnline auction as if I need them to make a bit on my behalf on GraysOnline.
Great company and amazing service – After months of trying to find a used car I had all but given up until a friend recommended VAA. In only a few days they had found me the exact car I had hoped for and at a price I could actually afford. I was over the moon. I highly recommend for young woman in particular who are needing help finding a good used car.
Scammers - Misleading and opportunistic – They chased me over days trying to get me to sign up and promised due to the COVID-19 no one was bidding and he could get me a really great deal a 2014 Corolla Hatch with 44,000Kms for $6500. When I paid the agent told me that my budget wouldn't buy a car like that as it would be $15K and he didn't want to waste his time looking. I asked for a… Read more
refund then they sent me one blurry photo of one car that matched my requirements for an auction on that day and denied me a refund because they said they had already done work for me. Absolute liars
Don’t waste your money!! – This company never provided me with any suitable vehicles to consider, apart from one that they sent info to me on a Friday afternoon, and the auction was to be on the following Monday. Based on many other negative reviews, I determined that they were not acting in my best interests, and attempted to pursue a case for a refund through the Office… Read more
of Fair Trading. Unfortunately this met with no success, and in the meantime I was able to purchase a much better vehicle privately, and for less money than what I would have had to accept through VAA. You are better off doing your own leg work to purchase a vehicle. Complete rip-off artists!
No stress way of buying – Wanted to buy a newer Mazda 2 for my daughter without the hassle of car salesman. Gave these guys a go and would definitely use them again for my other children. Very simple and no fuss. Jay was really helpful, giving us plenty of options and always checking in with us throughout the weeks. Found the car for $3500 cheaper than anywhere else. Great, easy to use service that we couldn't fault and will definitely be using them again.
So convenient and easy – I'm a FIFO worker on the Sunshine Coast and used Vehicle Auctions Australia to buy my daughter a Mazda 2. Patrick was great and gave a selection of cars which made it really easy to use.
are a bunch of liars – i contacted these guys to find me a Landcruiser Prado and gave my budget. They promised me that they will get me a vehicle within my price range. There were no results for a month and they kept telling me that they could not get my vehicle within the price range. I eventually negotiated a better deal with a dealer and purchased my vehicle. VAA did… Read more
not bother to return my phone calls thereafter or reply to my emails. They will do anything to take your fee but are very poor in finding a vehicle for you. I will never use them again and do not recommend anybody using them
Awesome way to get a car! – I'm an international medical student at JCU, wanted an Audi A5 and got one at a really good price. Jay was really helpful. I've recommended it to my cousin as well and she got a Golf.
Great service! – My Nissan Pathfinder 2016 was stolen on Christmas Day. Vehicle Auctions Australia helped me source a 2018 Pathfinder for $18 500, which was $7000 less than market value. Jay and Boyd helped every step of the way and were very thorough. I'm going to be telling all my mates about Vehicle Auctions Australia!
Will never buy a car any other way again!!! – Wanted to get my newly-licenced daughter her first car and don't know a lot about cars so thought I'd give these guys a go. Sounded like a simple, no fuss proposition and that's exactly how it turned out. Jay looked after me and sent 3 options to me in the first couple of days - 1 of which I ended up buying - for about $3500 less than I could find anywhere locally. Thanks guys - son is getting his licence next year and I'll be back.
This is a scam – Do not believe that your car is bought at auction. The scam is that they tell you you have won the bid at a dealer only auction interstate and the price they tell you is not the correct price. They add thousands onto what they pay through another company. Type in the vin number of the vehicle and see what the price really is at auction. I… Read more
was told I won the bid at Auction with $14,100. The vehicle was also issued with 18 separate defects by Queensland Transport. I won my QCAT case against them. They tell you it comes with a 3 month statutory warranty but refuse to admit that there are any defects when you try to claim under the warranty. The 12 month national warranty is also useless. Please complain to Department of Fair Trading and push the issue with them. Go to an ombudsman. Complain to the Department of Transport. These people need to be shut down.
Jay did a great job! – Jay did a great job and was very persistent to find me the vehicle I wanted as I was very picky! Im very happy with the result! Kind regards Per Nilsson, Gold Coast
Terrible – I needed a cheap van for my business and I needed it quickly. My husband died last year and this was my first major purchase. I saw VAA online and thought they would have more experience. Constantly told the car would arrive with roadworthy paperwork. When the car finally arrived it did not arrive with any roadworthy paperwork. End result was a… Read more
