Hi my we used our oven and a fire has started but after we turned it off it stopped.
The fan works but does not heat. how do we fix this

What could be wrong with the unit?

Hi Have a Venono VEF90.1EG free standing oven. Was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the film on the control panel is rubbing off? Also can you take the knobs off to wash?

Last night we turned our oven on to heat it up after 20 mins sparks started flying everywhere and there was a fire near the fan. We turned it off at the mains and the fire went out. Tonight we tried to turn it on and also the grill and neither would heat up. Who do we contact to fix it? Oven came with our Eden Brae house 2016.

We are renting a house with this oven. We cannot turn the oven on because the alarm setting won't go off. This is very annoying as the buttons for said alarm are close to where we lean over to use the stove. Please help us asap.

Hi, I have a Venini Model: VO759s oven and after a recent black out I have not been able to get the oven fans/grill/elements to turn on at all. The clock has been set and locked in, but when turning the temperature and oven/grill/etc knobs on the oven still fails to start. I’m a qualified electrcian but was interested to know if I might be missing something prior to pulling it apart for testing etc. Thanks Tim.

It could be the element, $50 part
Gas stove top still works but the oven doesnt heat up. Grill still works though. Sounds like this might just be a rubbish oven and a waste of money. How do I fix this?

My oven doesn't stay alight. Lights up alright but then keeps going out. Have to keep doing the start up procedure around 5times then it finally stays alight. What could be the problem?

My oven get hot to touch when in use and cuts out on thermal protection above 200^C. I have checked the temp and it is correct. Any ideas?

Hi with mine it's just a matter of sitting the glass back in and put the 4 screws in sorry I can't help more I've never had any issue putting it back in
Hi Ruth I remember it being very difficult to do and vowed would never take it apart again Ended up a 2 man job and had to hold glass up in place to line up with handle on front as that needed securing at same time

When we turn on the oven, the light comes on but does not heat up?
This model has two elements. One on the top (for grilling) and one at the rear in front of the fan. More than likely this is the element that has blown. To eliminate the grill element try turning on the grill element to see if it works. If it too doesn't get hot then you have a temperature controller problem - maybe not an element problem. I have had this problem before - and the controller has to be replaced. The clips on the controller whee the wiring plugs in will probably be burnt out. Suggest you find a Domestic Appliance Repair Man to come take a look as if you try and replace the rear element and get the re-connection of the wiring wrong it will never work - and the wiring is a nightmare.
The grill part works !

Does anyone have problems with the knobs getting really hot when the oven is being used?
Yes - the whole front gets hot including the knobs.
