rang them today, the Asian lady kept talking and wouldn't give me a chance to talk or talked over me, so in the end I had to talk over her to be heard. What a joke! Absolutely NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I’m very disappointed with this company. Despite paying for express shipping, my order wasn’t sent for two days, and it took four follow‑up emails before anyone bothered to reply. No explanation, no accountability. I’m still waiting on urgent medication for my little pup, and it now won’t reach Darwin until mid next week. Would I recommend them? Absolutely not. Usually, shipping is expected in a week or so and freight costs are about $15 for like a month’s worth of wet and dry cat food. Purchasing online on of the bigger chains can set you back up to $50 or more depending on weight.
You can easily shave off more dollars on your total basket by selecting auto delivery, random sales or discounts (email subscription) and also by utilising the loyalty rewards program. VLP is responsive and reliable and I am glad to have found this site. Thank you for the pleasant shopping experience!

latest update would mean over three weeks of delay for an order that was supposedly “in stock”.
Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. The exact same issue occurred with my previous order of dog food from this store, where a product shown as available turned out not to be in stock after payment had already been processed.
What is particularly concerning is that even after these delays and notifications that the item is out of stock, the website still currently lists the product as “in stock” and available for purchase. This makes it very difficult for customers to rely on the accuracy of the store’s inventory when ordering essential items like dog food online.
Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses should not accept payment for goods if they know they cannot supply them within a reasonable timeframe. Repeatedly advertising items as available while later advising they cannot be supplied raises legitimate concerns about inventory accuracy and compliance with those obligations.
If you are searching for Prime100 dog food or other pet food online, I would strongly recommend confirming stock availability elsewhere before ordering.

inconvenience and once again told I would receive a call back. No call came. After waiting two hours, I phoned again and was again treated dismissively. I am still without any explanation as to why the medication has not been shipped. What is most concerning is the complete lack of empathy shown throughout this process. My dog is now without her heart medication, which is extremely distressing. Mistakes can happen, but it is how they are handled that matters. In this case, there has been no communication, no accountability, and no reassurance. I expect a clear explanation for the delay, confirmation of when the medication will be dispatched, and assurance that this situation is being treated with the seriousness it deserves.

and marked as “in stock”. Customer Support reached out later to advise that there was a temporary stock issue with this product, and that we could either wait for it to come back in or receive a refund.
We opted to wait for a restock as we wanted this specific product.
I reached out on the 12th of December to see if there was an update or an ETA, as this product was STILL showing as “in stock” on the website. I received NO reply this to email.
I reached out again on the 18th of December and promptly received an email back, saying this was a “technical glitch” and that there was still no ETA on the restock.
On the 22nd of December, I emailed asking for a full refund and I did not receive ANY response.
On the 23rd of December, I emailed again asking for a refund. Lo and behold, my order magically shipped!
While I would normally be happy about this, I had already sourced the item elsewhere due to the ongoing uncertainty around the delivery timeline.
Since the email I received from VLP Customer Service on the 18th of December, it has been absolute silence on their end.
As a long term customer of VLP, if this is how they are going to treat customers, I won’t be shopping with them again.
**UPDATE - 8th January 2026**
I received a call from Corrine at VLP today regarding the issues I faced regarding this order. Corrine took the time to hear my complaints and was very apologetic and remedied the situation.
I hope this can be a learning experience for VLP and was truly an outlier. As I mentioned earlier in my review, I have been a regular customer with VLP and they have typically been nothing short of fantastic. Due to this interaction with Corrine, my review has been updated to reflect this interaction.

We approached the Vets Love Pets, highlighting the situation and requested their consideration to accept the return of those tablets, despite we respected their non-return policy of medicines. Their staff named Kim, who was the customer support executive had immediately empathized our situation and escalated it to their management to consider our request. The management of Vets Love Pets have been very generous, accepted the return and provided us with the full refund. Honestly, its very rare to see any dog supplies business in Australia, who not only consider the well being of the pets, but also their owners. Its absolutely unfortunate that we lost our baby boy the week after the returns, otherwise we would have loved to continue our patronage with these guys. Very sensible, lovable and respected bunch of people running this business. Our best wishes to the entire team of Vets Love Pets!

Awesome site for all your pet needs; their pricing is competitive and the range of products is extensive. They also have a rewards programme, which is great for repeat purchasers. The only small downside (vs other sites) is the delivery charge, as we just fall outside what is deemed the metro zone. When you're spending over $100-150 at a time, I think delivery should be free. Vets love Pets not only have low competitive prices but are also very fair and reasonable.
