excuse after excuse after excuse- disgusting conduct when they made a committment to ship it the next day They then tried to upsell me 3 days after they were already meant to ship it to express post to suck more money out of me. and marked as “in stock”. Customer Support reached out later to advise that there was a temporary stock issue with this product, and that we could either wait for it to come back in or receive a refund.

We opted to wait for a restock as we wanted this specific product.

I reached out on the 12th of December to see if there was an update or an ETA, as this product was STILL showing as “in stock” on the website. I received NO reply this to email.

I reached out again on the 18th of December and promptly received an email back, saying this was a “technical glitch” and that there was still no ETA on the restock.

On the 22nd of December, I emailed asking for a full refund and I did not receive ANY response.

On the 23rd of December, I emailed again asking for a refund. Lo and behold, my order magically shipped!

While I would normally be happy about this, I had already sourced the item elsewhere due to the ongoing uncertainty around the delivery timeline.

Since the email I received from VLP Customer Service on the 18th of December, it has been absolute silence on their end.

As a long term customer of VLP, if this is how they are going to treat customers, I won’t be shopping with them again.

**UPDATE - 8th January 2026**

I received a call from Corrine at VLP today regarding the issues I faced regarding this order. Corrine took the time to hear my complaints and was very apologetic and remedied the situation.

I hope this can be a learning experience for VLP and was truly an outlier. As I mentioned earlier in my review, I have been a regular customer with VLP and they have typically been nothing short of fantastic. Due to this interaction with Corrine, my review has been updated to reflect this interaction.

I received a delivery of his prescription food and unfortunately, six cans arrived damaged. They were cracked open and, by the time I received the order, were full of ants. I contacted Vets Love Pets and sent through photos of the damaged cans.

I genuinely suspected that the damage had occurred during the courier/delivery process rather than at Vets Love Pets, and I want to make that clear because I don't believe the damage was their fault.

What really impressed me was how quickly and professionally they handled the situation. In less than 24 hours, they had responded, thanked me for bringing the issue to their attention and arranged to replace the damaged products completely free of charge. They actually replaced the entire 12-can slab, even though only six cans had been damaged, and they also provided me with a $10 voucher towards my next order.

That level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare. I really appreciate how promptly they responded and how easy they made the whole process.

immediately disconnected every time. I then tried live chat and waited 1.5 HOURS for a response. While waiting, I also sent two emails explaining the situation and asking for the order to be cancelled.

I provided screenshots showing the order was still “Unfulfilled” and had not been picked or dispatched. After 1.5 hours, the live chat response was simply that a cancellation request had been submitted and that I would be advised if it was successful.

It has now been 2.5 weeks. The order was eventually dispatched anyway, despite my attempts to cancel it while it was still unfulfilled, and I have received ZERO communication and ZERO response to my emails.

I am now stuck with $128 worth of pet food that I have absolutely no use for.

I understand that cancellations aren't always guaranteed, but what is completely unacceptable is the lack of communication and the fact that there appears to be no functioning way to actually reach customer service.

Phone calls disconnect. Live chat takes hours to respond. Emails apparently go unanswered.

If you want a company that will actually be there to help when something goes wrong, I would NOT recommend Vets Love Pets. The product may be fine, but the customer service experience has been absolutely appalling.

We've been ordering from Vets Love Pets for a while both because our vet recommended them and they are the cheapest for the cat food we buy. We have been enjoying the auto delivery function. We set our order up initially and every 7 weeks we get a top-up. Show reply

Vets Love Pets are FANTASTIC! After having a terrible experience with another company (they took 4 weeks to tell me that the medication I ordered for my elderly horse was out of stock), I ordered the same medication from Vets Love Pets, and it arrived within three business days. rang them today, the Asian lady kept talking and wouldn't give me a chance to talk or talked over me, so in the end I had to talk over her to be heard. What a joke! Absolutely NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

inconvenience and once again told I would receive a call back. No call came. After waiting two hours, I phoned again and was again treated dismissively. I am still without any explanation as to why the medication has not been shipped. What is most concerning is the complete lack of empathy shown throughout this process. My dog is now without her heart medication, which is extremely distressing. Mistakes can happen, but it is how they are handled that matters. In this case, there has been no communication, no accountability, and no reassurance. I expect a clear explanation for the delay, confirmation of when the medication will be dispatched, and assurance that this situation is being treated with the seriousness it deserves.

Awesome site for all your pet needs; their pricing is competitive and the range of products is extensive. They also have a rewards programme, which is great for repeat purchasers. The only small downside (vs other sites) is the delivery charge, as we just fall outside what is deemed the metro zone. When you're spending over $100-150 at a time, I think delivery should be free. Show reply

I shop with VetsLovePets because they are in my state of West Australia, making delivery quick and affordable. The website is easy to navigate. When you Log into the “My Account” section, it’s also very user friendly. “Auto Delivery”products, are at an even better price and any changes can be made ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Show reply

I needed a specific probiotic for my cat which my Vet recommended but didn't stock in their clinic. I searched online and selected Vets Love Pets as their price was competitive and it's free delivery for orders over $49.00. Other companies you have to purchase over $99 for free delivery.
