Vicki Philipoff Settlements

I've used Vicki Philipoff twice now and both times have been excellent. The second settlement was much trickier and involved a lot of moving parts. There was a dispute and some tension. The advice we received from our settlement agent (Jackie Tink) was spot on and was (I believe) the reason that the deal actually got over the line. from the admin and reception staff to the conveyancers themselves have been friendly and kind. No question was too silly, even when we didn’t understand the process the first time. We had one particualarly differcult settlement and they handled it with ease and with excellent communication from start to finish. I would highly recommend them, and couldn’t fault the service we have received all three times.

No Interest in Customer retention – Wow! Have used this firm previously and went back to them as a repeat customer. Was told that they are too busy and at capacity at the moment so if i wanted to use them i would have to pay what seemed to be a higher than market rate fee. No interest in retaining customers or matching fees. Very disappointing. Would no longer recomend this company to anyone

Very poor communication – Agent was very hard to contact, didn't respond to phone messages or written requests that she call to discuss. No preliminary statement was provided. options for their service. Standard of documentation was appalling. When there was a delay from the seller our agent did not respond to us (again, despite phone messages requesting that she call to confirm) so we had no idea if she was aware and making appropriate arrangements for settlement at a later date. On the whole a very disappointing experience. We will certainly not be using this agent again and do not recommend anyone else to either.

Poor attention to detail and non existent customer service – Utilized this conveyancer in October. Nothing but poor communication and poor service. Still waiting for conveyancing to be completed. finalized and notification of transfer of title etc. Their standard response is “we’re busy”. As a customer I shouldn’t have to couch a conveyancer through the process from start to finish.

I could do a better job, seriously.

I was impressed by the level of service and professionalism from both CC & FSK CC was able able to make time for us coming to her office to verify our identification document as we had to catch a flight within the same week. not received as this was a high priority to get the Title out. She explained and we continued to work thru the process. It was done within 24hr hours working along with her . She had advised me on questions raised in regard to the in regards to matters on insurance and FHOG.
