Zero accountability, zero systems
Shocking service and zero accountability. Asked about when these would be installed 5 weeks after. First time, they said they would get back to me - never did. Second time, said they will contact installation team. Never got back to me. Third time, ignored my email. I wish I never ordered through these guys. The service has been appalling. I also asked them to quote on a job at my home. They came and measured and never got back to me. I’m still waiting to hear about when my curtains will go in for a business and no one returns any calls. I also phoned to make a complaint, was put on hold, told that someone would get back to me. No surprises, but no one got back to me. Look elsewhere and save yourself the trouble!
Very poor customer service.
We ordered $18000.00 worth of blinds and curtains in early April. And paid almost all of it after demands for payment prior to install over 2 weeks ago. We are still waiting to actually talk to someone that actually does not act like they are reading a script. Incapable of answering questions appropriately. Poor performers of the industry, now worried about the product. have given a timeframe or want refund and told you will not get a refund. If this is how this company operates it makes us question how they can operate effectively.
Phone callback service needs a revamp.
I recently had a part on one of my Victory blinds break (11 years old, so would come to be expected from a blind that is used every day). I found that Victory no longer has an office in my area, so had to call. I reported the problem and was informed somebody would call back in 24 hours. A week later and still no call, so I decide to call again to be told the same thing. A week later and somebody finally calls and advises that I need a new part (clutch) and they will send an e-mail with the quote and I can pay and respond and they will send it ...out. A week later and no e-mail. I call up again and they say oh ok, yeah we have that info we can send it out to your e-mail. I'm waiting now this morning for the e-mail, hopefully it arrives. Victory you really need to review this process. I should have been able to talk to someone on the day I had the problem, they could have told me I need a clutch and I should have been able to pay over the phone and then it could have been sent. It's taken three weeks so far and I still have a completely inoperable blind.
We wish we had installed the Blinds earlier. love them!
We are happy with our product and it was installed in a timely and professional manner. the person who provided the quote gave us great honest advice and I would be happy to recommend them to anybody else.
Very poor performance in so many ways
I am reluctant to criticize an Australian company, as we need as many as we can get, but Victory Blinds have performed very badly.
1. The wide range of sheers that they offered in their show room, according to their installer are not all available, and we had to pick another one. Of course, the quoter may be lying!
2. We had arranged for the quoter to bring an example of the sheers we had chosen to our house – he did not bring any of them.
3. When installing the sheers, it was found that one had been cut to the wrong dimension, and one had be...
Do not use this company
We purchased blinds for our bedrooms...none of them have worked as per the brief...one has torn from its binding and 4 months later after numerous calls, emails and empty promises...we still cant get it replaced...I have heard every excuse in the book. They warranty is worth less and they simply do not care
the 5 year warranty counts for nothing
my E Zip outdoor blind had come out of the track on one side i called victory 4 times, no one called back as promised...eventually got onto someone. I was told that it was wind damage and that i would have to pay $95 call out fee just to take a look... Was told that the blinds would be torn and damaged from her experience...All this without even looking at the blinds.. its there standard go to procedure.. i asked about the 5 year warranty and what it covered and the women could not tell me anything. She just keep going back to "its over 12 m...onths and you have to pay for a call out"... the blinds were 20 months old.. an honest company would send out there technician and have a look. Also i would of had to pay the $95 before the repair guy came out... little did she know i am a builder with real trade qualification and 20 years experience. Unlike there installers that have very very little training .. i looked at my blind and found that one side had come out of the track, upon further inspection the blind had shrunk a little so i drilled out the pop rivets to the RHS track and moved it over 8mm reinstalled the blind into the track...problem solved... easy for me but most ppl would have no choice but to pay and believe any crap story told by there installers just to make money... its hard to trust ppl today...
Don’t use them. From the beginning they stuffed up measurements of the blinds, the lengths
were incorrect and they covering heaters when they were not suppose to. A year later after installation, one of the blinds broke. Poor reflection on their quality of product. We tried to get them back to fix. It’s been 6 months now. Still the blind is broken. No ETA as to when they will arrive. Frankly, I don’t expect them to turn up, hence this review. I’ll start looking around for someone else to do the job.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!
No words to describe how bad their service is . I wish I read their reviews before buying from them .My whole house blinds and curtains are done by victory blinds and being an Aussie company , I expected good post installation customer service.
I have been calling them for months for a call back to have one blind repaired . Every time , they take my details and they promise their consultant will call back . No consultant EVER bothered to call back . My whole house curtains and blinds are done by them unfortunately.... At my last call , a week ago ,I told them I am going to write a bad review . Even then, they have not called me to help me with my blind problem and give me options . My blind cannot be operated and I don’t feel safe at night with an open blind . I will not be recommending them to my family and friends .
I chose to buy from Victory because I thought they were a reliable, Aussie owned business. I was wrong. I had my consultation in June. The consultant spent a majority of my session chatting, then rushed me to make a decision in the final few minutes, because he had another client waiting. I paid in full ($5300 for three plantation shutters, two sets of bedroom roller blinds, and two small ones for the bathrooms) and was told to expect my install to happen in late August, to early Spetember. Why so long? Because they're not made in Australia. Th...e very next day, I realised I had chosen a hideous colour of blind. I contacted my consultant to try and change it. He said "it's already in the system and can't be changed". I called Victory directly, and was told they'd get back to me. They didn't. I had to drive an hour to their showroom to change it in person. Due to the Stage 4 shutdown, my installation could not take place at the planned time (no blame on Victory for this obviously). However, their handling of this situation has been abysmal. I received a text telling me I had a potential booking for the 30th of October depending on restrictions and to either confirm via text, or call. I opted to call, and say that if the restrictions were lifted earlier, I would like an earlier install, but if not the 30th was fine. Leading up to the 30th, I called multiple times to check on the status of the situation, and was given vague assurances. On the 29th I called twice to see if my installation was going ahead. Both times I was told they'd get back to me. Surprise, they didn't. Until 5:15 when I got a text saying my install was cancelled. As the text was sent after their closing time, I could not call to see what was happening. I called on the 30th to see why my install had been cancelled. They said I never confirmed. I replied that I had called numerous times to confirm and check the status. They said they currently were looking at doing my install the following Friday the 6th. I said I was unavailable due to work. They said they had no other availabilities that week, and would have to book me in the following week. Admittedly, at this point, I was low on patience. So I asked what the earliest possible date was, and I would take a day off work to be there. They said Monday. I agreed. Come Monday, it is 10am and I still have not been called for an estimated install time. So I call, again, to check on the status of my install. They tell me it's for next Monday and that I had agreed to next Monday. Why on Earth, would I change from Friday the 6th, to Monday the 9th, when I specifically and repeatedly requested the earliest possible install date? At this point I am well and truly fed up, and requested to cancel my order. They essentially told me tough luck, they've already been made, we're very busy, it can't be helped, and you're stuck with us. The most lackluster customer service I have ever experienced. I will never buy from Victory again, and neither will my friends or family. You're far better off going with a local supplier.
Cancelled my appointment without informing me
I have booked an appointment almost 20 days ago for a measure and quote for my curtains. Got an sms confirming my appointment and asked me to respond if I want to reschedule my appointment. I didn't respond as I didn't want to reschedule and I was fine with my date and time of the appointment. But, on the date of appointment, I am told that my appointment is cancelled as I didn't respond to the sms. This is so silly from victory blind and curtains. I am not ordering from you.
Good quality products but had issues with the advice received
We had a set of blinds and awning installed a few years back and were initially quite happy with the products. It became apparent over time however, that what was sold to us wasn’t suitable. I asked about downsides for recessed blinds from the person who gave me the quote and she said there were none. There were privacy and functionality issues with this though. People could see in and light would get through. To their credit, they did fix these. Later, we found out that we’d have to remove the blind or winder just to open a fly screen. The sol...ution I was offered was to pay for new blinds. I had called about this a few times and realise I should have pushed them harder earlier on, as they would have been more likely to fix it closer to the install. Maybe we were stupid not to think about fly screens at the time but we had a bunch of things going on and would have thought that’s one of the things you expect a professional to mention, given we’re paying quite a lot for the premium.
Curtain shrinkage - warranty nightmare
I had beautiful curtains from Victory installed. I approached Victory Blinds on how best to clean them - Sales rep that attended said he would find out and let me know (never heard back). I then called and left messages for someone to return my call and also no one returned my calls.
I got them professionally cleaned at home and found that the curtains have shrunk! (got 3 cleaned, the other 2 were OK). I contacted VB again and have sent emails and pictures of the issue, left more messages and emails, only to be told that although the curtains ...are under warranty, it was not their issue and nothing would be done. I had asked for someone to attend to inspect the curtains, but have been told this would not be happening. I am very disappointed. The curtains cost alot of money and to be told that VB is washing their hands off eventhough I am entitled to a warranty fix, makes me very angry. Will be looking at ACCC if no one responds to my emails.
Horrible service, 5 months for repair and still waiting!
We have our outdoor blinds installed in July amid the pandemic lockdown. 2 weeks after part of the blinds went off track and it's the start of my nightmare.
I have called Victory Blinds about 10 times and most of the time I got the message taking service - this is after the lockdown. I did once speak to their centre and was promised a call back which never happened.
I then sent enquiries on their website, and there was no reply.
It's been over 5 months now and this blind is still broken. The whole thing costs over 4K and would've been very nice on a hot summer day otherwise.
Very disappointing. There are a lot of competition out there and if you are considering getting blinds, try someone else.
Shout out to Victory Blinds. I had blinds installed in June 2020. I noticed a problem in late November and contacted them. They came out to assess the problem, agreed it needed fixing, and by 23 December 2020, the problem was fixed. It was all very straightforward and easy, and I will be using them again for sure. Well done to the Victory Blinds team.

In your opinion which timber is better for shutters? Basswood or Paulownia? Thanks Wendy
do you have oval window Hold Down Clips for sale?
Could you please provide more info here? Is this for curtains and drapes?
What is the difference between Woodlore and Normandy shutters??
Normandy Shutters are made from Phoenixwood (Firmiana Simplex). The timber is classed as a hardwood and comes from the Sterculiaceae (Cacao) family of trees.
Woodlore Shutters are manufactured from Customcraft – a man-made product that is a combination of timber fibre and glue. It is very stable and does not warp when used in low-moisture conditions.
