Terrible Experience
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!
No words to describe how bad their service is . I wish I read their reviews before buying from them .My whole house blinds and curtains are done by victory blinds and being an Aussie company , I expected good post installation customer service.
I have been calling them for months for a call back to have one blind repaired . Every time , they take my details and they promise their consultant will call back . No consultant EVER bothered to call back . My whole house curtains and blinds are done by them unfortunately...Read more
. At my last call , a week ago ,I told them I am going to write a bad review . Even then, they have not called me to help me with my blind problem and give me options . My blind cannot be operated and I don’t feel safe at night with an open blind . I will not be recommending them to my family and friends .Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Horrible experience
I chose to buy from Victory because I thought they were a reliable, Aussie owned business. I was wrong. I had my consultation in June. The consultant spent a majority of my session chatting, then rushed me to make a decision in the final few minutes, because he had another client waiting. I paid in full ($5300 for three plantation shutters, two sets of bedroom roller blinds, and two small ones for the bathrooms) and was told to expect my install to happen in late August, to early Spetember. Why so long? Because they're not made in Australia. Th...Read more
e very next day, I realised I had chosen a hideous colour of blind. I contacted my consultant to try and change it. He said "it's already in the system and can't be changed". I called Victory directly, and was told they'd get back to me. They didn't. I had to drive an hour to their showroom to change it in person. Due to the Stage 4 shutdown, my installation could not take place at the planned time (no blame on Victory for this obviously). However, their handling of this situation has been abysmal. I received a text telling me I had a potential booking for the 30th of October depending on restrictions and to either confirm via text, or call. I opted to call, and say that if the restrictions were lifted earlier, I would like an earlier install, but if not the 30th was fine. Leading up to the 30th, I called multiple times to check on the status of the situation, and was given vague assurances. On the 29th I called twice to see if my installation was going ahead. Both times I was told they'd get back to me. Surprise, they didn't. Until 5:15 when I got a text saying my install was cancelled. As the text was sent after their closing time, I could not call to see what was happening. I called on the 30th to see why my install had been cancelled. They said I never confirmed. I replied that I had called numerous times to confirm and check the status. They said they currently were looking at doing my install the following Friday the 6th. I said I was unavailable due to work. They said they had no other availabilities that week, and would have to book me in the following week. Admittedly, at this point, I was low on patience. So I asked what the earliest possible date was, and I would take a day off work to be there. They said Monday. I agreed. Come Monday, it is 10am and I still have not been called for an estimated install time. So I call, again, to check on the status of my install. They tell me it's for next Monday and that I had agreed to next Monday. Why on Earth, would I change from Friday the 6th, to Monday the 9th, when I specifically and repeatedly requested the earliest possible install date? At this point I am well and truly fed up, and requested to cancel my order. They essentially told me tough luck, they've already been made, we're very busy, it can't be helped, and you're stuck with us. The most lackluster customer service I have ever experienced. I will never buy from Victory again, and neither will my friends or family. You're far better off going with a local supplier.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Cancelled my appointment without informing me
I have booked an appointment almost 20 days ago for a measure and quote for my curtains. Got an sms confirming my appointment and asked me to respond if I want to reschedule my appointment. I didn't respond as I didn't want to reschedule and I was fine with my date and time of the appointment. But, on the date of appointment, I am told that my appointment is cancelled as I didn't respond to the sms. This is so silly from victory blind and curtains. I am not ordering from you.

Good quality products but had issues with the advice received
We had a set of blinds and awning installed a few years back and were initially quite happy with the products. It became apparent over time however, that what was sold to us wasn’t suitable. I asked about downsides for recessed blinds from the person who gave me the quote and she said there were none. There were privacy and functionality issues with this though. People could see in and light would get through. To their credit, they did fix these. Later, we found out that we’d have to remove the blind or winder just to open a fly screen. The sol...Read more
ution I was offered was to pay for new blinds. I had called about this a few times and realise I should have pushed them harder earlier on, as they would have been more likely to fix it closer to the install. Maybe we were stupid not to think about fly screens at the time but we had a bunch of things going on and would have thought that’s one of the things you expect a professional to mention, given we’re paying quite a lot for the premium.Similar opinion? Curtain shrinkage - warranty nightmare
I had beautiful curtains from Victory installed. I approached Victory Blinds on how best to clean them - Sales rep that attended said he would find out and let me know (never heard back). I then called and left messages for someone to return my call and also no one returned my calls.
I got them professionally cleaned at home and found that the curtains have shrunk! (got 3 cleaned, the other 2 were OK). I contacted VB again and have sent emails and pictures of the issue, left more messages and emails, only to be told that although the curtains ...Read more
are under warranty, it was not their issue and nothing would be done. I had asked for someone to attend to inspect the curtains, but have been told this would not be happening. I am very disappointed. The curtains cost alot of money and to be told that VB is washing their hands off eventhough I am entitled to a warranty fix, makes me very angry. Will be looking at ACCC if no one responds to my emails.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Horrible service, 5 months for repair and still waiting!
We have our outdoor blinds installed in July amid the pandemic lockdown. 2 weeks after part of the blinds went off track and it's the start of my nightmare.
I have called Victory Blinds about 10 times and most of the time I got the message taking service - this is after the lockdown. I did once speak to their centre and was promised a call back which never happened.
I then sent enquiries on their website, and there was no reply.
It's been over 5 months now and this blind is still broken. The whole thing costs over 4K and would've been very nice on a hot summer day otherwise.
Very disappointing. There are a lot of competition out there and if you are considering getting blinds, try someone else.

Quick response
Shout out to Victory Blinds. I had blinds installed in June 2020. I noticed a problem in late November and contacted them. They came out to assess the problem, agreed it needed fixing, and by 23 December 2020, the problem was fixed. It was all very straightforward and easy, and I will be using them again for sure. Well done to the Victory Blinds team.

The UNVICTORY Way
usually before i get a quote on a product i usually check them out but because my friend had used them before & had no trouble i did not do a review & now wish i had but of course too late now! like a previous customer i too have been ripped off the 50% deposit $1780 which was paid on 27/10/2020 for 3 outdoor blinds which was expected to be installed well before Xmas. On 30/11/2020 a office girl rang saying blinds are delayed till end December to early January which is not good enough as waiting for a month already so asked if they had been ma...Read more
de & told no, so said to cancel order & refund deposit, which she responded with , The sales mananger will ring later which he did so said again to cancel & he came up with, I will get them done by mid December. Ha! he could not give any date so he obviously tells all others this same story so to keep their money. said again to cancel, but he said he cant & would not give any reason why! if the blinds not made, what is the problem cant cancel & get money back? how many others have they done this to? I got very distressed on the phone & had a panic attack, being a 82yr old age pensioner & my friend took the phone asking why cant get money back. he ended up hanging up on her so he was rude discourteous person & 2 emails i have sent requesting deposit back have been unanswered as well. it looks like my money is also sitting in their bank unless they are in financial trouble themselves. from now on i will not give any trader or company any deposit before the job is completed so will not be ripped off again & this is the way jobs were done years ago,,,paid in full on completion....if a company needs money front up, then there is something not right financially or its a con!they have this statement on their order form called The VIctory Way, what a heap of rubbish.. shoud be The Unvictory Way!!! so people be aware who you trade with as cant trust anyone anymore!3 comments

cant get a quote
Unfortunately could not get an appointed time to get a measure and quote. Told in email and on phone that it could be done without me being there but they could not. Others can. I work 5 days a week. No appointment available after hours (5PM ish) or on a Saturday. Only 1PM during the week. Not good enough.

Rep doesn't even know the products
I had Craig come out to quote me on a job I wanted done at my house, first of all he didn't want to sell me cellular blinds which is what I wanted in that particular space, then proceeded to tell me I should just get plantation shutters instead, 2 very completely different products and would not suit that space! Then he tried to tell me to have nothing there, what the?! I had to go onto Victory's website and physically SHOW him the product I wanted on the website of the company he supposedly works for which he then said he'd have to go back and speak to his boss about, this was over a week ago now, haven't heard back. Unprofessional service to say the least, gone elsewhere now.

Love our curtains but terrible customer service
[name removed] the consultant who came to our house was very knowledgeable and helpful. She had numerous samples with her. I already had some idea of what I wanted and [name removed] helped with the final details. We ordered early July with expected delivery mid August. Unfortunately this didn’t happen and despite many phone calls, I was fobbed off over and over again. The whole process became very frustrating and disappointing. At no point was I ever given any explanation or apology for the delay. I eventually contacted [name removed] again an...Read more

Great service and great product
We had a great experience with Edwina at Victory Blinds (Noble Park, VIC). She was absolutely wonderful to deal with, and honest about colours, fabric etc. The end result is beautiful. Cannot fault the service or the product.

Great product & service!
We have just had our new Dual Roller Blinds delivered and installed and we are, to say the least, absolutely delighted with the result! The service from Victory has been exceptional, from the very beginning with an in-home quote provided by Sarah who, shared her knowledge experience and expertise, to help us make the right decisions. The blinds were even manufactured and delivered slightly earlier than promised and Anthony was on time, professional and courteous, as he installed the new blinds without fuss! I recommend Victory & their products without hesitation.

Nice blinds, wrong colour.
We had blinds installed about a year ago as part of a major renovation project. Kitchen, bathroom, carpets, paint, etc. To make a long story short, the colour we got was cream which is not even close to the colour ordered: Dulux Antique White USA. We pointed this out to the installer so he said he'd take off $1000 from the outstanding owed. The installer said he had the same issue with Victory and had even given them the paint! At the same time our daughter built a new house and Victory said they could colour match. Same issue, wrong colour....Read more
Victory, a year later is now trying to say we owe them money! After many emails and phone calls, they have agreed to give us a discount on what we owe! My final response to them is that we are happy to take the discount when they rectify the colour issue. I would never recommend Victory.1 comment
The colour we picked is so popular, you don't even have to get it mixed in Bunnings.

Poor Follow Up Customer Service
Needed to call for a repair to a curtain which happened just outside the warranty time. The problem was due to an omission from the initial installation but they still charged for the repair of their own error.

Thumbs up!!
We recently completed building our first house. So, we needed window treatments for the entire house. Victory Blinds were recommended to us by a friend. What a fantastic recommendation it was. From start to finish we were so well looked after.
We ordered a house full which comprised of roller blinds, sheer curtains, block out curtains, plantation shutters and outdoor blinds (for an outdoor balcony).
The consultation in the Victory Blinds show room was perfect. We got to see and touch all the materials and compare all the colours. After choos...Read more

Incredibly rude service.
I received appalling service from a Victory consultant. In standard negotiations I was asking him if any better deal could be provided on the quote provided of $4300 for 2 sheers blinds and block outs for the 2 windows.
Absolutely fine that he could not do better, however merely for asking I copped an email of rudeness and I have not included the entire thread.
The IDENTICAL fabric Victory refused to discount “because it was expensive fabric” was provided to me $600 cheaper than Victory. An alternative roller blind fabric was provided much cheaper. I have now paid for $3700 blinds the week after Victory treated me so appalling.
Another company got my business :)
Maybe consider this next time.

Absolutely amazinggggg
We could not be happier with the overall service with our curtains. We dealt with Adrian who was professional, friendly and knew exactly what we wanted and helped choose the best color and style for our home. These sheer curtains have made a big difference to the look and feel of our home and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended

What is the difference between Woodlore and Normandy shutters??
1 answer
Victory B.Victory Blinds
Hi Alexia,
Normandy Shutters are made from Phoenixwood (Firmiana Simplex). The timber is classed as a hardwood and comes from the Sterculiaceae (Cacao) family of trees.
Woodlore Shutters are manufactured from Customcraft – a man-made product that is a combination of timber fibre and glue. It is very stable and does not warp when used in low-moisture conditions.
Please let us know if you have any further questions here.
