initial measurements advised me he had been doing this job for 30-40 years. He advised he wouldn't be able to mount our blinds to the aluminium window (no problems) so they would need to mounted to the bulkhead (again, no problems). But he didn't identify the looming issue. We also received our invoice for the remainder of the account, plus an extra for needing to mount into the bulkhead! The actual installer turned up with blinds weeks later and was here for 5 minutes and left...because he couldn't mount into the bulkhead! He couldn't find any of the roof trusses or frame to sink a screw into. He advised we'd need timber battens. And that was it. He left without doing anymore measurements or discussing paint colours or any other discussion with the actual customer. Why didn't the other bloke, with 30+ years of installation experience identify that little hindrance? The next contact came days later via text advising someone would be in contact in the next "10 to 15 business days" to rectify the problem. 18 business days later (!) I contacted them because I'd heard nothing. The blinds eventually went up later that week and I think only because I pushed them along, but the other frustrating thing of this saga is that the timber battens are no more that 66*19 timber that I could have purchased from Bunnings and mounted the blinds myself in half an hour, about the same time the installer was actually on site. But I had paid for installation! Our job would be one of the most simple jobs Victory Blinds would ever have. Two roller blinds, mounted off the ceiling/bulkhead, in an apartment with very easy access and two retirees who can be home most times. Over 2 months after ordering, we finally have roughly mounted blinds. Take heed...if things go smoothly you'll probably be alright, but with one little problem, you'll likely be pushed to the bottom of the pile. They appear to be a volume business and anything that gets in the way of that process becomes very difficult for them to handle. There were no phone calls to me to explain what was happening or to apologise. I'm sure when this review is posted there will be the usual platitudes, but I won't be using Victory Blinds again, nor recommending them to anyone. Next time I'll go to a local independent who more likely values the customer.

I ordered curtains and shears for my stacker windows. Quoted that it would take 4-6 weeks. True to there word my curtains have been installed in a very professional manner right on time. Couldn't be happier with the job and they look beautiful. Thanks to all involved.

Most useless company I have ever dealt with don’t bother 7 months for on vertical blind wrong measurements biggest stuff ups cancelations no communication just stuff you around Never again this time missing slats

I didn't receive the blinds that I wanted. The salesman didn't seem to know the options. I have been trying for months to get the situation rectified, with no customer service at all. It appears if you sign the order, then you are at fault.… Read more

Payment is made before installation so make sure your salesman knows exactly what you want. And check the order before signing.

We had excellent service from Elena in selecting our blinds and curtains. The fitting also went smoothly and we have very stylish and well made curtains, blinds and shutters. Highly recommend. Show reply

Our good experience with Victory started from when Cameron the sales rep came to show us samples, and finished today when Richard arrived to install the curtains, he went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and we can’t praise him enough, he’s a credit to the company. Blinds are fine, the end to end process not so great. Received one of the blinds with incorrect size. They had to redo and placed back on the queue waiting 6weeks for an updated order- why do I need to wait so long for an error by Victory? And here’s the catch, I paid the entire order in full before installation. Then i received the replacement… Read more

blind after 6 weeks (after complaining) and it is installed incorrectly- the blind buckles when it closes (ie it’s a motorised blind and their installer can’t set the limits)-fancy paying for an installation that their installer can’t get right. And now I’m fast tracked to have an installer come back - that’s right fast tracked waiting 3 weeks for someone to come out to correct their error. That’s 9 weeks to receive my correct functioning blinds after paying in full. I received lots of calls and emails stating how they understand my frustration as long as it doesn’t cost them anything to right a wrong and god forbid if they should correct their error quickly.

We ordered plantation shutters, a small roller blind and an outdoor awning from Victory Blinds at the beginning August 2025. We were happy with the roller blind and awning. sitting back in the window frame like we had specifically requested when the salesperson came out to see us. Also the cut made to allow for the window winder was done on the spot and was very rough and unsightly. I made 5 phone calls from December to January, speaking to the same person each time, (with only one phone call being returned) asking if something could be done. I had not only phoned many, many times but I had also sent emails with photos of our problem with the shutters. On the 3rd of February 2026 I was promised that the tech dept would call me back. 9th of Feb I was told that an order was being raised for a technician to come out. What really annoyed me was the comment "you do have fully functioning shutters". Apparently it didn't matter that we had not received what we had paid for. Finally, someone came out and had a look. They took measurements and ordered a new lower frame section. I phoned on the 1st of May to find out how long before the replacement frame section would arrive. I was told that the Service Dept would call back....of course, they didn't. I rang 5 days later and was told that they may be ready by June 1. The installer came on May 29. Turns out that the frame was the wrong shade of white, and the corners were cut incorrectly, so we ended up having to wait for another complete frame to be ordered from China. This was finally installed on August 13. Unfortunately for the installer the new frame was made incorrectly and needed to be altered. Thankfully the installer was able to do this. After one year we have what we paid for! Would I recommend Victory Curtain & Blinds.....what do you think???

Making a purchaae for curtains with victory was the worst mistake of my life!! In short, unreliable organisation, total caos, and appaulling customer service. 32weeks of hell sustained where twice curtains made and twice wrong colours delivered at installaion followed by never ending emails resulting in weeks of whos to blame in the manufacturing… Read more

warehouseing and completely stuffing up!! Ultimeately resulting in organisation not beingable to meet with cuatomer satisfaction at all and only then after 30weeks refund was offered!!! Never to use again only to have to beg for refund after escalated stress and grief caused by from nso many managers and management departments !!! Just a nightmare!! Stay away from this unreliable organisation!! Simply hideous!! Torment to say the least!!

Victory (Gold Coast) were reliable from start to finish. Sean was very knowledgeable and provided excellent advice during the free measure & quote. Mick was fantastic, neat and efficient with installation. Both were incredibly patient with my little boy who was fascinated by what was going on. Love our new shutters and blinds. Thank you!
