The WiFi Security Camera I purchased continally droped out even at short range. It is not reliable at all and totally unsuitable for a security system where reliability and continuity of service is required. contacted Vimel Technology, not once, but on three separate occasions, politely requesting either a refund or a replacement unit. After some back-and-forth, they instructed me to return the product. I did so in good faith, trusting their assurances. Yet after sending the item back, I never heard from them again. No replacement was sent. No refund was issued. My money was simply taken, and the company went silent. it's now been alsmot 2 months!
This is not the behavior of a serious or reputable business. Any legitimate company would honor its warranty and respect the consumer’s right to return a faulty product within the 7-day return period. Instead, Vimel Technology demonstrated a complete disregard for basic accountability and customer service.
A business that refuses to uphold its own promises erodes consumer trust. Their lack of professionalism and unwillingness to resolve such a straightforward matter shows that they do not stand behind their products. As a result, I will be filing a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs so that others are warned and hopefully spared from a similar ordeal.
To anyone considering a purchase: be very cautious. Companies that behave in this way damage the integrity of online commerce and take advantage of honest customers.

detection. This would be great if you only wanted to monitor a small room or small outside area. The problem is you need it close to the “action” and that makes it vulnerable to attack or being stolen. The sdcard is also easily removable and not hidden or secured behind a screwed panel.
Quality is good, and it works well, just not outside. The price reflects this.

At night the laser infared night vision didn't pick up myself or a my car at 300m when the camera was set at the guard point of 300m, but on their website it says up to 300m detection, so may work at slightly less distance but vechicles disappear out of camera view from autotracking at about 280m on our driveway. We live on a farm with cattle so we have to have AI human/vechicle tracking. The camera also has Autocruising where you can have up to 16 preset points but at least 2 which I will have to experiment with to see which works better for us, 1 guard point or cruising between a number of preset points. the app will improve because the more people that are using it the more complaints the app designers will get and be forced to work on the issues. The seller that I bought the camera from was very helpful when I encountered the issues and went to great lengths to help sort the issues out, my new friend Vadim is a genuinely good Aussie bloke and proud expatriate Russian trying his best to make a living. The camera does need a better signal strength than a static 4g 2K camera because it’s sending a thousand times more information, this ads to the clunkyness of the app. If you are installing the camera in a position that has 1 or 2 bars of 4G signal then you’ll need to improve the signal to the area via a repeater or upgrade the cameras existing antenna to a high gain booster 4G antenna. My camera is installed in a spot with just 1 bar of signal but as the photo shows, it still has a reasonable picture quality. I have not been offered anything for writing this review, I’m doing it off my own bat because it’s a good product and Vadim deserves a little effort on my part as thanks for his help.

and found the solution for me with an app that worked. Then I found another issue with the video quality, it had a purple haze. They worked on that with me as well, and I'm happy to say I now have an app that works; I can transfer my files via wifi, and the picture quality issue was sorted as well. Sometimes you just have to work with businesses to get your problem solved. I have an iPhone 13 Pro-max, and I don't think this particular bodycam had been tested with this phone.
