I am so incredibly disappointed in Vine Apparel. I love the products and have been a regular customer for a long time. Many of the clothing items are firm favourites of mine and I have also purchased items for other family member, however the sizing and after sales service leave much to be desired. purchase of two items that I believed were not sized correctly, I was asked to email customer service, which I did. I received no response.
So I generated a return label and attached a detailed letter to the parcel outlining my issues and making genuine suggestions for an improvement in their process to allow clothing with inconsistent sizing, or simply not fitting, to be returned without further cost if the customer was willing to accept a credit rather than a refund. This suggestion is based on my experience with another Australian clothing retailer, and it gives online customers the confidence to shop, knowing that if a size is incorrect, it can be returned without further financial costs. And the credit means that money will still be spent either on a different size or item.
Not only was my email not responded to, the letter I sent with my return parcel was completely ignored and I was charged return shipping without any contact, leaving me out of pocket $21 for two lots of shipping and nothing to show for it. I've read many reviews by customers who have been in the same situation and I was making a suggestion that could increase business by boosting customer confidence.... a win win for all. I try to support Australian businesses such as this one, but when it's so clear that customers' issues are completely disregarded, it's just very disappointing.
Just received my order for the Whitely Jeans. They are a perfect size match and they look incredible on. They have a good stretch, so as a size 14 girl, they actually sit nicely across the tummy, almost flattening the usual bloat look. Dress is much too big, too long and looks very cheap. I can’t return it as it was on sale. If I had a yacht I could use it as a sail . I don’t have a yacht. Very disappointing. Show details

I saw a gorgeous dress on their website on their gorgeous model that they use for most photos and it looked amazing (everything looks amazing on her lol) I went to their shop and tried it on - I wasn't thrilled with the fit but I thought once I got it home and changed bras it would look better. is super baggy while the bottom half is a lot tighter. Thought about returning it but you can't return things to their shop (even though I bought it in person!) It's all done online! They make returns so bloody difficult. I even emailed them to see if there were any options for the return but was ignored. I gave up and decided to wash the dress before I wore it thinking it might shrink a bit in the wash - it didn't shrink but the fabric is garbage! One wash and it faded and looks like it's been worn 20 times. So disappointed. $87.95 down the drain (that includes shipping). I will never wear it. If they let you return it to the shop none of this would have happened. Oh and for the record the girl never gave me a receipt! She said the system was down or something and wrote a number on a teeny tiny piece of scrap paper (which as a busy Mum I of course have lost - having said that I emailed about the return with the exact date and time I bought it so they could look the receipt up - but nobody responded) Look out for the dress in a Vinnies near you soon! :(

Really disappointed in the shopping experience with Vine apparel. I bought the fleecy tights and they arrived damaged. I'm now out of pocket original postage of $9 to receive a damaged item. This seems really unfair. They will only refund product cost. The item was really poor quality and you can find many of the items they sell on Temu or shien for a fraction of the price. Show details

Follow-up · I have hardly had these jeans off since I bought them. They wash well, hardly need and iron and feel fabulous. I often get comments as they are stretchy and fit my body beautifully. Very flattering and lovely to wear.

Jo suggested lots of items for me (many I wouldn’t have chosen myself and ended up buying!), helped with the sizing, bringing and taking items from the floor to me in the change room, and was honest in her thoughts. I really appreciated it, as I actually hate shopping and Jo made it a great experience.
I walked out with a pair of pants, 2 tops, a skirt and 2 dresses! And I felt like we only skimmed the surface of this amazing shop! So I will be back - and hopefully Jo will be there again although I’m sure all the other ladies are just as fantastic.

express shipping. I was really pleasantly surprised to see a phone number I could call to resolve it quickly. And sure enough in 5 minutes I’d paid the difference and my order was changed to express. Even better still even though my order went through after midday I still have received a shipping confirmation already.
