  4G Home Internet Plan

I visited a Vodafone store at Townhall CBD, right next to the train station. They provided me with a 4G modem as the best option for my granny flat. I gave my address and contact details. The first issue was that they got the address wrong. When I got home and set up the modem, the network signal was weak. I contacted customer service and… Read more

technical support, but they had no idea what to do and said there were no records of my call, they cant even assist or locate my current address then they asked me to visit their office for help. Since my partner is an technician and electrician , told them what needs to be done but the technician we talk to had no idea how to help either. It was very frustrating because my partner uses the internet for his work—ordering, meetings, and invoicing—while I use it for training and work from home. When he’s using the internet, I can’t, and I also can’t use my mobile . It was odd that I couldn’t use the TV either, since a Vodafone technician didn’t know how to fix this. I spent over an hour and a half on back-and-forth calls before giving up. I called again on a Saturday two weeks later to speak to a technician and customerservice to cancel; they asked why I wanted to cancel and why I couldn’t visit the office, which felt like a joke. I paid for the service, but then I was questioned as if it were a joke. After filing a complaint, I was told the $119 fee would be waived. After a month and a half, I checked my credit score and saw an outstanding balance. I called Vodafone three times and was told nothing was on my account. When I called again for the fourth time seeking a clear credit report, there was an outstanding amount that they had promised to waive. Customer service representatives had no idea about my details and gave me a funny answer about my address from eight years ago. Frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager, but they only gave me an automated response. To this day, I haven’t received any updates.until today i received an email from debt collectors, which felt like a joke. I used to stay with Vodafone because of their network, which was reliable, but my new accommodation was supposed to be better—unfortunately, it isn’t. Now they are demanding full payment for a service where I only used about 30% of the internet. I want this amount removed and a review of my case. The network quality is very poor, and I believe this issue needs to be escalated to higher management. Vodafone needs to fix its network, improve customer service, and ensure technicians assist customers properly. It’s frustrating when calling customer support, and they just laugh or chat at the back instead of helping. Also told Arma to collect money for a service that was below par. What a joke. tel no:[Number Removed]

What a nostalgia trip, probably the closest internet experience to using dial up. Some days it works fine, other days it is super slow, or, doesn't work at all. Switched to their Vision Network just two weeks ago, and now the internet is down — something that never happened with my previous providers. perfectly an hour earlier and then suddenly stopped. If the service was fine moments before, what could possibly take 24–48 hours to investigate?

As someone who works from home, this is a nightmare scenario. Their fallback 4G connection is intermittent and running at 0.3 Mbps, making it effectively unusable.

My advice: stay away. Unreliable service, poor communication, and disappointing support.

They are selling a service they clearly cannot provide. Very poor communication and absolutely no follow-through.

If you decide to take out a 12 month prepaid mobile contract with Vodaphone (calls/text only) don't die 4 months later. Your estate won't receive a partial refund. There’s absolutely no doubt about it. Vodaphone is an excellent NBN provider. Used to be with Telstra a few years agobutbtheyvwere useless. And rarely is there a problem with Vodaphone but tonight the internet went down. One call to Vodaphone answered immediately. Excellent help. It fixed itself within a couple of minutes and the operator Tushar was top notch. Helpful, polite and I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Vodaphone.

when companies outsource their customer service and technical teams overseas. The people in stores are good, but even they have to use the same system. I had the technician come out and set up the internet and I called Vodaphone customer support to do the back end stuff, activate the account and provision my service. They started the billing part, havent sorted my issues or the provision my service part either.

From the first call they couldnt help me at the time and said they would call me back within a couple of days. This is where it has started. No one ever calls me back, I cant ever speak to the technical team who are supposedly sorting things but nothing ever happens. I call every couple of days and every time they start a new ticket, they promise to call me back, that the technical team will sort and call you back, this never ever happens. I called tonight and found out the technical team did their stuff and reported back that the internet is working and closed the task. They never spoke to me, never called me to discuss my issue and never do?? Over 2 weeks ago someone said they will send out a technician. They told me someone would come out within 2 days and they would contact me. This never happened. I called them back only for someone else to tell me oh you dont need a technician to come to your property but we are escalating the problem to the technical team and someone will call you back within 24-48 hours. 2 days later I call them again and they said we cant speak to anyone, but once again they start a new ticket and say its been escalated AGAIN.

They promise to call back, promise another team will sort and call me back but this NEVER EVER happens. They are a joke, the most unprofessional company I have EVER had dealings with in my life. Oh to top it off, I was supposed to get a month free upfront but I have already been sent a bill despite not having a useable internet service. If you dont want to be taken for a ride and stuffed around by them find another service. There are so many better options. The funny part is there are others in my building with a working Vodaphone service???
