The internet has an acceptable speed but keeps disconnecting every 2-3 hours for up to an hour. It's not an issue with my router or devices as the internet will work for one device but not another and all my devices work fine on other networks Show details

Horrible company stay away! – Worth zero stars. Connection dropped out over 2 days ago and have not had a single response from the team to get the issue fixed. When I call to enquire im told they can't do anything to help. So I'm stuck with no internet, paying full price for a service that is faulty and doesn't work and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Pathetic.

Awful connection, awful customer service, awful price – I have had this “service,” if you can even call it that, for three months and over said three months, my connection on my phone would constantly drop every few minutes. Their Brisbane CBD internet is unstable and inconsistent, yet their CEO is collecting performance awards – Living in Brisbane CBD. Internet is inconsistent regardless of time of day or whether it's a work day or not. Though their internet speed is acceptable, it's so unstable and inconsistent (constantly varying latency) that you can't even reliably stream videos. gaslit by support - wish I could give 0 stars – If you care about internet speed, latency or customer support please avoid this ISP. Unfortunately VostroNet is the only ISP servicing UniLodge Southbank, outside of ISPs offering 5G home internet plans. I am on a 100/100mbps plan, however, typically get 40 mbps down and 70 mbps up. - ping spikes are frequent and last a long time. For reference, I’m connecting to their network with an Intel AX210 wifi card and Pixel 7.

I originally contacted VostroNet’s support in July regarding issues with internet speed and latency, it is now December and VostroNet has done nothing to fix these issues. Their escalated support team has not been responsive. Their escalated support team responds to emails by letting you know that “maintenance” on the network was performed. Any “maintenance” performed, if they actually did anything, did not resolve the issues with my service. They do not provide any more details then this.

I was contacted over the phone by their escalated support and told that building management was denying them the ability to make physical changes to their network. I contacted my property manager and they told me this was not true. When I asked for email confirmation of our phone conversation, instead of providing it, they told me there had been a misunderstanding. LOL. Not sure what there is to misunderstand when I am explicitly told something over the phone and then their support refuses to confirm it in writing. Pretty sure they lied to get me to accept a refund, only reason I can think of for them to lie like this.

Devices connected to VostroNet’s network are not discoverable to each other, this means you can’t cast to different devices or host a plex server. You are also only limited to 5 devices and using network equipment like a router is against their TOS.

Fast speeds – I'm on 100/100 Mbps plan and I get 97.5 download and 97.2 upload speeds in the middle of a weekday using mobile. I'm sure I'll get even faster speeds on my desktop PC. Show details

would receive an email with information on how to connect. Within minutes of hanging up, literally, she had the information. She connected, there was no lagging/speed issues and she is happy. To say we were impressed is an understatement. Very, very helpful. If we could remember the gentleman’s name I’d put it down, so thanks again. From a couple of very relieved parents.

Solved issues quick and easy – Was having issues setting up my internet due to "user error" (self diagnosed). The team and especially Dejan really helped me through it. really bad – Drops out often, significantly slower speed than plan states. Unfortunately used in many buildings, too few channels with too many people leaves it incredibly inconsistent. Good luck if you ever try call support, you will be on hold for so long it makes Centrelink seem fast. Show details

flag was their customer service. They are unable to fix the wifi dropout issue of the entire accomodation that has been persisting for a whole year, with the excuse of still 'collecting data' and we already have a team dedicated to it. If you report this issue with their team, they will keep asking you to collect data from all your devices and send it to them. If you don't, they even use the personal information on your profile (eg. mobile phone) to call you and ask you to reply to their email. Has the issue been resolved after sending them the data? No. Would they ask you for more data? yes.

Super bad wifi – This is getting worse, an update, now I tried pinging servers and it is at over 1000 ping, tried to make some Whatsapp calls (not even video call) and still always disconnects. Not a choice for gaming – Using as the wifi provided by unilodge and cant even finish a single battle in warthunder. The pl rate is constantly high with being up to 50-60%.

later, the connection experienced dropouts and couldn't play game peacefully. Thanks to that I don't feel like playing games anymore. At least I could still do my assignment without any problem.

Now, I can't even browse the internet and watch movies peacefully and have to use my mobile hotspot to do all of my assignments. Thanks for making life harder.

Devices limit only to 5 – So sad that your service is limited to only 5 devices. These days there are many IoT devices that the people use. Also, many people and devices are meeting at home due to Pandemic... Add and remove devices each time that a new guess is coming home is so annoying! Show details

Avoid, if you can – Only 5 devices at a time, WPA2 security encryption not available for many devices like game consoles and chromecast. $60 would get a much better deal with any other provider. Worst part is the constant and random drop outs in connection. Will be the main reason I will move out of my apartment in the coming months. Show details

This is incredibly horrible, slow speed, extremely high frequency of disconnection – If slow speed and dropouts is what you are looking for, vostronet is definitely your best choice. disconnection happens EVERY HOUR, sick and tired of it, had to use my mobile hotspot all the time, indeed i paid vostronet to letting me know how good my mobile network is. Show details

Slow internet – I used vostronet at unilodge lasylt year and the speed was very disappointing. Even when I tried upgrading the service it was still quite slow. The coverage in my unit was very low as well. Other than that the customer service was good. But they were never able to solve the slow connection Show details

Same thing happened. Worst internet provider. Vostronet, you should be ashamed of yourself – Like you said, its been the slowest internet I have ever used. Cannot even watch a video on facebook because of this crappy internet. The internet has been down many times in just 2 months and the support is even worse. They are unskilful and useless. I wasted 7 days waiting for them to find and fix the issue with my internet and all they did is "forget the wifi and re-connect again". Show details

Worst Internet Ever – Seriously the slowest, worst internet I have ever used. I live in student accomodation in Brisbane and throughout the year the internet has been down on numerous occasions. Like, it'll be fixed for a week and two days later its crashed again and I can't do my assessment. Cannot wait until my lease is up and I can find a different internet provider. Vostronet review – I connected to Vostronet internet after moving into Unilodge at Southbank a few months ago. I’ve had a really good experience with wi-fi on my phone, surface and laptop and appreciate being able to use it in the gym and lounge area. Vostronet internet – I moved into a unit with Vostronet internet as part of my rent in March. I paid for the upgraded from the 25 plan to the 100mb speed plan to get faster internet as i play games. Really good experience and get above 103mb when testing on speedtest. Good connection and everything works well and no issues. Show details ·  1
