One complaint – Working well. Only 1 problem, using the 2 outside burners the temperature doesn’t go above 190-200 C.......need more heat to start cooking roast pork. I was told at the time of purchase I could cook this way.....directly on the grill no need for trays to protect from the middle burner Show details
This is my new oven I just put in my Rommertoph clay dish one burner on dead low and two hours later – The unit is nice and compact and dead easy to use and the food comes up a treat. And I must admit the added bonus is that I don't have to stay in the kitchen I'm out on the deck with the family. This is a very economical way to cook. Show details
Top value from a brand you can trust – A must have for someone wanting to get started with barbequing and only has a smallish space to put one such as a balcony. These grills get very hot so no worries searing a nice steak, also decent for a bit of low and slow with a smoker box so plenty of options to suit every occasion. Weber's after sales support is second to none which is the icing on the cake. Show details
Expensive waste of money – Worthless piece of hmmmmmm does nothing but flare up and burn everything my old $150 bunnings special was a better BBQ but its cause I cook lamb and its to fatty try a lower heat I'm told ....... No I Cook lamb idiot I'm an Aussie don't buy one if you have any brains Show details
BBQ that does the job well – I am no bbq officianado by any means (this is my first bbq with a lid and oh what a difference) but I have been cooking food on this that has a great bbq taste. Easy to use, and clean, which is the most important aspect. I have burnt most of my steaks unfortunately but that is my fault. I got one rib eye fillet a perfect medium rare and oh my… Read more
god that was great. The cooking manual section on steaks seems to have the times for cooking far too high or I am interpreting wrong but I am getting better after going my own way on that.
I am only 6 months in so cannot say about durability in the future, which is the quality you pay extra for with these, but so far all looks very solid.
Highly recommend the vegetable basket (the deep one). Chop vegies into small pieces, oil and spice and so easy to make a delicious vege mix!
Got the Rotisserie kit to complement my E-320! – Turns out (pun intended) to be the best, most succulent, even cooking on the Weber - thrown everything (mostly) at it: lamb shoulder, pork loin, whole chicken, whole duck, lamb leg - all with minimum fuss and the rotisserie just keeps churning great tasting meats! Highly recommended. Took our Weber cooking to a new notch and now family's asking,… Read more
'what's on the 'spit' today Dad??? Throw in a some wood chips in a smoker box, and you've got the taste of Texas right in your backyard. Highly recommended!
Best BBQ I've owed so far! – My old BBQ was 10 years old and was getting tired so I did some research on new BBQ's. I have Weber Baby Q for camping and was most impressed by the flavor cooking on grill and how easy it is to clean. The experience with the Spirit is no different. Temperature control is very good for direct and indirect cooking. Make sure you pre-heat this BBQ… Read more
and cook with the lid down.
My Spirit E-330 comes with the Sear Station and side burner. I would highly recommend paying a little more and than the base models and getting these features. I did look at the Weber Genesis but the Spirit E-330 was around $100 cheaper and liked the idea of Sear Station and side burner.
I generally buy for the long term and cant see why this BBQ wont last the distance with the build quality.
Very happy with the purchase and supplier chucked in Free Cover!
Great BBQ, wouldn't change it! – This BBQ is amazing and my wife and I wouldn't change it for the world. Great heat and cooks the meat perfectly. BBQ's are never easy to clean, but this one is OK. Fairly small BBQ but perfect cooking surface for our needs and is super reliable. LOVE IT and will tell everyone to get one! Show details · 1
This is the Best BBQ I have Ever Used - I'm Glad its Mine! – This is the best BBQ I have ever used and I'm very happy with this purchase. Previously we had a 4 burner hooded 'CookOn' which we looked after carefully for many years, and it performed very well. We would still have it excepting that we remodelled our outdoor area and decided to upgrade our BBQ. I had previous good experience of using a… Read more · 1
forerunner to the Weber Spirit at a condominium in the US that we rented a few times and I remained very impressed. At that time that model was not sold here. Before deciding to buy a Weber Spirit I did my research to ensure we chose the best BBQ for us - I read product reviews and made enquiries among retailers and I was soon convinced that we should buy a Weber Spirit. We have had it almost 12 months and we have it plumbed into our Mains Gas (as was the 'CookOn'). Because its plumbed into Mains Gas Weber delivered and installed the BBQ. We use it exactly as instructed in the Weber Manual and on the CD they supply with it. I have been a fan of American BBQ and Smoking for many years and I use our Spirit as do the Americans - ie with griddle bars and no hot plate. A hot plate is supplied for the Australian market, but for us it's a waste. The Weber Spirit is a 3 burner BBQ but its cooking surface is as great I believe as my old 4 burner, and it gets a lot hotter which is great for cooking steaks. In 10 minutes the Spirit will reach 250 degrees Centigrade - excellent. We have cooked many excellent steaks. In the Manual Weber recommends trimming lamb chops of fat as the heat of this BBQ will cause a lot of flare up if the chops are too fatty. So we trim our lamb chops and they cook beautifully. The controls allow slow cooking as well. The burners are stainless steel and the build quality overall is excellent. I like the operation of the fat drip tray because I have found it to be a no mess way of getting rid of cooking fat. The igniter works excellently. There are no negatives for me with this product. I've had and used a lot of BBQ's over my lifetime, but this is easily the best.
I found this bbq to be very veraitile – So easy to set up and use was cooking a large feed to use and just the right size for our family .two hours after purchase and setting up the bbq I cooked a feast fir for a king , bbq exceeds my expectations and I recommended this bbq to a family friend and they also love this bbq. All good with my Weber Spirit – My new webber spirit heats up to 250c in about 5 min. Cooked a turkey and roast pork at the same time and they came out full of juice and flavour in under the recommended time. Steak is also great on the hot plate with the top down. I've been BBQ ing for forty years and its all good with me. Show details · 1
Best BBQ we have ever owned – After 9 years my faithful Sunbeam 4 burner BBQ died, I have been looking at the mid range Webber Spirit for a while but just then there was a model change and the price of the E-320 dropped so it was a no brainer. I just love my Webber Spirit, it took us 1 hour to assemble, a quality product from top to bottom. It heats up in about 10 min and… Read more · 1
cooks much faster and juicer than I could imagine. It doesn't need to be on full to do a perfect job, I cooked a large BBQ for 7 in a flash and all done perfectly, salmon, lamb loins and a heap of sausages for the kids all at the same time. Just finished my first clean and the pull out fat tray is a God send, easy to cook, clean and a bonus is the powerful wok burner that does a mean stir fry. We did buy a Ziegler & Brown for the wok burner but returned it in 24 hours, it just didn't have the power to do the job. The Spirit is a good mid sized 3 + 1 burner BBQ and well worth the money.
Superb BBQ – Bought the natural gas model from the Gas Showroom at Chatswood NSW Australia, 3 months ago. Couldn't be happier. They had an installer set the unit up and he was excellent. I started cooking from the moment he left. Compact, takes up little space, heats up quickly and cooks really well. So far I've cooked fish, chicken, duck, lamb, beef and pork. Adapted a rotiserrie to it and it works a treat. Show details · 1

I like it alot! – Easy to light. Heats up quick in about 5 min. Thermometer at front confirms when ready. Easy to use; just plonk the meat on in no particular fashion, close the lid, come back in a few minutes flip the meat cook a bit more and come back to collect. So far, it has cooked perfectly every time. To clean, I leave it on a few minutes after I take… Read more · 3
the meat off, then come back & turn it off and give the grill a quick scrub with the Webber steel brush.
What I really like is that I don't have to stand there and keep moving the food around the grill.
I put up with lousy 4 burner beef-master for years and now I see it was hopeless: The meat in some spots would burn, and at the front it would hardly cook at all. If we had people over for a big BBQ session I would have to commit myself to managing the meat on the BBQ and working around the inevitable flames, rather than enjoying the company. And when I finally sat down to eat, my fingers were singed & I would be covered in grease. My Webber let's me enjoy the party and the BBQ-ing. I am looking forward to trying out their buffalo wings recipe.
I paid extra for the natural gas change-over kit, but to my surprise it included assembly of the whole BBQ too. Sweet! BBQ's are notoriously hard to assemble. I don't know about the Webber, but the beef master nearly broke me all those years ago so I was chuffed to come home and see my newly delivered barby all done and ready.
It also included a spare solid hot plate which I have not needed to use yet and some cleaning spray.
By the way I still have a small Webber kettle BBQ that I bought in 1992. Still going well with occasional use.
So glad we bought it – We only bought our Weber some 4 weeks ago and have used it about 10 times, but whatever we have cooked turned out really tasty and moist. It heats up fast and we have followed the guide in the cook book re roasting with good results. Cleaning is easy and so far we are ever so happy we bought it. Show reply
Poor Customer Service – Purchased the BBQ at the beginning of December and found that the Base was damaged after unpacking. Could not even put it together as this was the first piece to the assembly. Contacted the retailer who said I had to deal with Weber directly. After numerous Phone calls , Failed deliveries , Wrong Parts , take a day off to let them rebuild it....… Read more
lasting three weeks I put the whole thing back into it`s box best I could and took it straight back to the shop. Came out with a really nice Masport and $350. Note to Weber , if you forget to order the part..... do not blame somebody else , or say the power went out or we had a glitch with the ordering process and its definitely on the truck.

Made in China and quality to suit – Have had 4 Weber Spirit E-320 BBQ's now since November. All four have had excessive noise from the Crossover which is much worse once pre-heated. The noise is inconsistent, on a windy day it might be quite and on a still day it might be noisy (or visa-versa) Weber have been notified and they they the noise is acceptable thought the Technician… Read more
that came out and the store I purchased from says otherwise. I would argue that for the Quality product you are buying the noise is unacceptable. The latest BBQ on top of this noise after a few weeks use will all of a sudden not heat above 200 degrees C.
The build quality seems good but the Stainless steel is a cheaper quality than the Spirits big brother the Genesis.
All 4 cooked = with the grill closed to my knowledge but if you do like to cook with the lid up (not intended for this Weber Grill I agree) but with lid up the grills are very varied in temp.
Weber to credit have replaced all 3 faulty and have offered refund and provided a few accessories. ( but don't buy their tools they bend at first use, obviously made in China too) The thing is Weber seem to miss the big point that they have shipped off this design to be manufactured in China and the Quality Control (and Quality for that mater is not up to the standard expected from such a reputable company.
All though I know you want to buy one anyway (this is what I said after reading past bad reviews) either spend more on a Genesis (made in USA) or buy another Brand.
Worst Weber EVER!!! – I have owned and successfully used Weber bbq's for the past 20 odd years and have had great success with the two I have owned, the last a Q220. But this Weber Spirit would have to be the worst I have ever used. It's a Chinese built heap of rubbish that Weber should be ashamed of putting their name on. It takes an eternity to heat up to any sort of… Read more
heat, then when you open the lid to start your cooking, probably 80 percent of the heat is lost and your basically broiling what your cooking. Steaks don't char or brown and chicken never looks like its cooked. It's a pity Weber decided to produce (and I'll use a word I hope don't offend) crap like this. If I hadn't of spent so much on this bbq I would put it out at the next council cleanup and buy another Weber Q, even though they are probably also made in China, it's design is such that it cooks way, way better and tastier.

Worst Service Ever – I purchased this BBQ from Heatworks in Adelaide on 17/9/15 and paid in full on the day including an additional amount for delivery and assembly. The service and advice from Heatworks was very good indeed. I was contacted the next day and was told the delivery would take place on 23/9/15. I made specific arrangements for someone to be in… Read more
attendance at my home on that day but nobody arrived and I was not told any reason why nobody had attended.
I called them the following day and was fobbed off with some lame excuse about a lack of communication between the delivery/installation people and that they would now be arriving on Friday 25/9/15 between 12 noon and 3pm. Someone eventually arrived at 4pm with no apology or explanation.
One would hope that the product is better than the terrible delivery/assembly service but I must say that Weber's good reputation for customer service was most definitely not applicable to my situation and I am not at all sure I could confidently recommend them to anyone.
The mistakes made by Weber were very inconvenient to me and having to balance business commitments with non attending delivery people was costly and very problematic for me.
Public relations and customer service = Epic fail

Excellent – After owning a Weber Kettle for many years (still going) and my old 4 burner giving it away, it was time for a new gas BBQ. After much research and many visits to talk with BBQ folk it came back to the Weber Spirit. I bought the Spirit and had it plumbed to town gas. That was last May and it has proven to be as good a product as any from… Read more · 2
Weber that I have used.
It works. It works like the book says it should. I have cooked steak, chops, sausages, roasts, vegetables and even pizza - all to perfection, quickly and to expectations. Fat fires don't happen.
Am I a fan - oh yes. Even convinced my son to buy one for his mates wedding present. If you don't already - you will need to BBQ with the lid down - not much good to stand around with a beer and talk to your mates.
I think this will be my last BBQ - if I ever needed another it would be a Weber! Works like the manual (and the salesman) said it would.
The food tastes great.
Easy to get going and easy to keep clean.
No kitty litter trays - the fat either burns off or falls into the disposable tray underneath. The BBQ appears a little "tinny" in a couple of places (doors and connection of the two "wings") although this does not affect its operation in any way.
The warming rack that sits above the cooking surface gets in the way - Weber have released a new version of the rack that fixes the problem (it sits higher).
The cost would put some people off - the cost is worth it - it will still be working when the others have gone to the recyclers.
The cost of Weber accessories is too high - generally can find the same thing without the brand for much less cost by shopping around.
Excellent – I have had my Spirit e-210 for a few months and I love cooking on it. Despite its size I have still cooked a 4.5 kg pork roast PLUS 17 chicken pieces all at once and everything turned out perfectly (and the crackling was amazing!). This is possible because the heat is redistributed with the hood down so no hot spots. A decent size piece of steak… Read more · 1
takes about 6 minutes and tastes like it is restaurant quality. Cooking with the lid down keeps the food really tender and the special flavourizor bars help with the great taste. For roasts I would strongly suggest using a remote thermometer as this way you can keep the lid down and ensure a perfect meal every time. Great buy and strongly recommend! - Great tasting food
- Quick cooking times
- Looks good
- Great value for money
