How Webjet ruined our wedding
Webjet ruined our wedding and now 5 weeks later they are still proving to be the worst company in Australia to try to get a refund from for double charging us for flights and luggage

So after the first flight was cancelled due to airline scheduling with (no flights to Perth) or an option to re schedule my brother and sister inlaw never made it.after hours on the phone I was told I'm not entitled to a refund,on either flights and instead I take travel credit emails of a credit forms they sent with with no terms and conditions,or and option electronically i have agreed to accepting them.every other airline you electronically agree you accept..
For the return flights you will see (knowing after endless phone calls to webjet)t...hat they didn't make it to perth.they continued to change return flights twice, issued and eticket without my consent, and proceeded with the flight. Calling webjet through this explaining that they never made it why would they be returning demanding I want my money back. Webjet say there is nothing I can do about it and continued to push to take travel credit.i had called air new Zealand to find out what was going on and how to go about a refund,(webjet state on there terms and conditions that the supplier holds any refund ) . Air new Zealand clearly told me webjet is entitled to give you a refund and that they do not hold the money. reading articles webjet do not pay the airline until the day you fly out. In my opinion the whole trip was considered cancelled from the 1st letter. The Australian competition and consumer commission (accc)

Booking a flight with them i assumed it was going to be easy. It was believe it or not.... however when a flight ia cancelled and trying to reachedule with them, thats when the blame game happens....... they will try and get you to sort the issue out with the airline direct even though you have booked with them direct.
Its the golden handball...... You tell them you have spoken to airline and you must talk to webjet direct. Its like playing tennis, back and forth. Still no result. Will take firther action with ACL......
In the past was an execellent customer. Never again....

Tried to ring them and the number is to a completely different business, according to Autumn the CSO.
ended up booking direct thru airline and then the webjet insurance DOUBLED when booked thru webjet but independent of

Rescheduling a flight
During this pandemic, dealing with flights is a nightmare. No matter who you are dealing with. However I found rescheduling with Web-Jet online remarkably easy.
Yes, the wait for an agent was over 2 hours. But I was not flying within the next 72 hours, and they did inform me enquiries were being prioritised by departure date. Given all this I was pleasantly surprised with how they are handling the large load.
Once I did get assigned an agent (Ashraf), the process was so quick. Barely had to do anything, and never needed to re-explain what I was trying to do.
Never use it again its a scam
(I copied and pasted this from someone else as I had exactly the same experience) Had a Qantas credit due to flight cancellation due to Covid in August 2020. Could only access the Qantas credit through Webjet. Want to rebook using the credit, I could not speak to anyone to get help. To schedule a return flight I was required to choose a return date and time, which I did. At payment point I requested to use my Qantas credit to pay for flight. Webjet auto-reply was that they had received request to book and they would try to get me on that flight...and time as close as possible. Not heard from them for a week. Webjet said they are not helping anyone out unless they are due to fly within the next 72 hours. I could only sit here and watch the price go up every day and minute. Meanwhile the same flight I had requested had gone up in price now twice as much as they were when I requested them. Had I choose to not use the flight credit I would have not paid that much for the trip. I imagined that the whole booking using credit process should be quite automatic and it doesn't make sense for them to hold me off like this. That's just plain robbery and trickery. I'm launching a class action against them, companies like this are scam and they should go down with the covid crisis. ACCC needs to investigate profiteering at all levels. No Transparency. No Customer Service. Webjet is a Scam, never using it again.

Took my $13k months ago for a trip, then wash their hands of you once there's issues. Fobbed me off for 2 weeks until it was too late to resolve anything.
Beware of Webjet
Had a Qantas credit due to flight cancellation due to Covid in January 2021. Could only access the Qantas credit through Webjet. My original ticket "Melb to Perth" cost $369 (that was now a credit). Finally rescheduled my flight to Melb in March. I could not speak to anyone to get help. To schedule a return flight I was required to choose a return date and time, which I did. At payment point I requested to use my Qantas credit to pay for flight. Webjet auto-reply was that they had received request to book and they would try to get me on that fl...ight and time as close as possible. A week went by and no word from Webjet. 3 days before due to fly, received email saying I was confirmed on that flight and had to pay an extra $511 to fly back to Perth....on top of the credit I already had. This makes the flight Melbourne to Perth approx $880! one way. Had I been able to use my credit directly with Qantas, I could have booked that seat myself directly with Qantas for $369. That's just plain robbery and trickery. ACCC needs to investigate profiteering at all levels. No Transparency. No Customer Service. Webjet is a Scam.
It is extremely impossible to contact Webjet, I would recommend you never use this service. I have tried for days and just hold and send requests to change flights.

I tried to change my flights but apart from an automatic reply they had received the request I have not heard from them. Made repeated phone calls and sent multiple messages but after a week of sitting on line or on the phone for hours and never getting a response I am ready to tear my hair out.

Sixteen hours online to resolve my rebooking and still Webjet can't manage it!
I purchased three tickets for a round trip holiday to Bundaberg from Sydney over the Easter Holidays 2020. These tickets were purchased through Webjet online on Dec 15, 2019. These flights were cancelled by Qantas due to the COVID 19 border restrictions. I subsequently requested a refund via e-mail from Webjet, who only offered a credit. I received no further response from Webjet. On July 2 2020, I filled out Webjet's online form requesting to use our travel credit for travel over Easter 2021. I received no reply from my request. I then contact...ed Webjet on July 29, 2020 through their 'Message Us' feature on their website. Booking these flights took over four hours of my time online. At times, I had to inform the Webjet customer service officer about the information that I could clearly see on the Qantas website. I was finally able to rebook these flights, with an additional charge above my credit of $39.72 from Webjet for all my trouble. Had I received a refund, as I had a legal right to, I could have booked these same flights for $1,572 that day. With my credit and the added charge, I paid $281.12 over the price of the flights available on that day. Tuesday, Mar 23 at 16 minutes past midnight, I received a notice from Webjet that all our flights needed to be changed and that I had 48 hours to reply or the new flights would be considered by them as accepted by me. Twenty hours later, I responded that we did not accept our departure from Sydney being moved from 10:05 to 6:05, when there were other options, such as a 13:05 departure with Qantas showing seats still available. Having not received a response from this e-mail, I again reverted to the 'Message Us' feature on the Webjet website, as Webjet only accepts phone calls if the departure is within 72 hours. I have now spent two eight-hour online sessions with Webjet's customer support people and they have still been unable to rebook the flights as requested. In my opinion, this 'service' is unprofessional and does not meet any minimal expectation of travel agent service. I've now lodged a formal complaint through Fair Trading NSW.
Appalling Service - Do Not Use Webjet
Cannot get help to use a credit that I have in place. I have logged a change request no-one gets back. I spend 5 hours on their contact chat waiting. Never again will I use them or recommend them

After filling in an online survey on their website, you could have knocked me over with a feather when they called me within 90 mins. The lady was very polite and apologetic, and assured me that they are doing their best, and we should have our refund within a few days. They appear to be having problems with refunds for a few different airlines, (Oman Air being ours), and are doing what they can.
I will give them the benefit of the doubt for the moment and will repost as and when the money arrives.....
I'm disabled not stupid
Booked flights with webjet, within hours tried to change details on one of the tickets and to advise my disability. It took almost 15 hours to respond that I needed to contact airlines directly. Virgin explained that within 24 hours Webjet needed to make changes so they transferred my call back to Webjet where the operator (who was located 'offshore') was blunt, rude, didn't listen, kept talking over the top of me, and spoke with me like my disability made me stupid. What a horrible experience, and so disappointing

The worst booking and customer service I have ever received. I asked requested to change a flight 1 week out before my flight out and had no response. When I followed up via the chat message the agent said they only looked at flight 48 hours ahead and so I would receive an email the following day. I received no email the following day so I called and was on hold for 2 HRS... and still not a single person to speak to service the request I had asked for a week prior. It’s just unacceptable and poor customer service on their end. My issue has still not been resolved and I am flying out tomorrow. Seriously never again will I trust them.

Took a full week for Webjet to make a booking to fly Sydney to Adelaide - VIA BRISBANE! Unacceptable.
STILL WAITING another week to hear if alternate day (inconvenient and later) flight is possible.
Worst service ever experienced!
I will never book with Webjet again. The communication between customer and Webjet is zero! After trying to contact numerous times via email (which is only automated) and Facebook I am at my wits end with this company! All I want to do is change a flight and their form will not let me do so! There is nowhere to go with this problem! I suggest people book directly with airlines to avoid this stress! Never again!

Like many others, I booked flights in 2020 with webjet, but due to covid the airlines cancelled all travel. Now webjet has no record of my booking. Qantas has no record of it. Attempts to speak to an actual person at webjet or even use their 'message an expert' service on the website are useless- I can't get through. Never ever again will I use webjet. I suggest you heed my words too!!!

Absolute Joke never again
Long story short. I’ve booked direct flights to QLD months ago and brought insurance, webjet recently emailed my husband telling him that that flights no longer exist and we have to go through Sydney, no other option for direct flights was given. On Saturday I’ve spent two hours on the phone explaining that I am terrified of flying and that I do not want this option and they say well your husband agreed when no other choice was given. Now I find out that not only are we not going direct but we’re not even sitting together. As I said I am terri...fied of flying.. I played for direct flights no compensation was offered when they changed our flights and added on 4 our extra travel time.. My husband has now spent another hour trying to get a hold of webjet and no help was given and no other options was offered. Thankfully The Airline sorted out out seats at least so we can sit together.. what an absolute joke you guys are... NEVER AGAIN :-(
Do not use.
Do not use, I had my flights cancelled due to covid lock down. There are many extra fees and conditions that Webjet adds to rebook which I have not experienced with flights booked directly with the airline. No one working there has any answers to questions. Rip off if anything goes wrong. I will not be using them again.

Hi, I have a travel Voucher that was issued 12 months ago, but have not used it because I am not very confident about travelling anywhere with Covid 19 still about.
I am 71 years of age and in the high risk category and won't be planning any travel for some time for health and financial reasons.
I would like to receive a refund on voucher No.1956607188300001.
Please advise how this can be done.
How can I find out if my flights have been changed. I'm meant to be leaving on Monday. Have tried ringing and messaging to no avail.
Have you tried contacting the airline direct? If they’ve been changed, you should have received notice from them, not Webjet. As I understand it, they are only a booking agent.

We're supposed to fly through Brisbane to Bundaberg this Friday. I tried messaging through Webjet's messaging on their Facebook page. It still took hours for them to respond and they couldn't advise me on anything.
I'm going to monitor the Qantas site for info. Nine flights to Brisbane from Sydney to Brisbane were cancelled today.
We're not holding out a lot of hope.

I am wanting my flight credit sorted l have read the reviews and smell fraudulent activity. This is going to be taken to a lawyer if l do not get an appropriate response
I am at my wits end too... I have tried messenger and they respond... and you go around in circles... they promised to put me in contact with their change team.. this was on Wednesday night... still nothing.. it’s illegal
