They totally mucked up my flights when… They totally mucked up my flights when i asked for a change of dates so i had to book new flights at my own extra cost. They could not understand me and only said no we cant do anything. Their understanding of English is close to nil. Never use webjet again!

The ticket price was showing at 1197 and after all the fees it was 1257. Once we went through the payment and booking, it said the booking was not confirmed as the ticket need to be manually sourced. an additional 297 to get the tickets otherwise the whole thing would be cancelled. At this point the 1197 ticket was still showing on the webjet website. I then paid the additional 297. However, I later received an invoice that only stated the price - 1257 instead of the full amount I had to pay for the ticket - now I need to follow up the full invoice.

I wanted to pay extra for my return trip because I was going to extend my stay. When I called I was told I couldn't upgrade it and I could only cancel it and book it again at the full price. Thankfully Jetstar offered me to upgrade ringing them directly. Next time I'll go directly to the airline I wish to book and call them rather than doing it on line.

Was a simple process to use and also found a better price than my Jetstar app as a Jetstar member which I found interesting and it’s also not the first time it’s occurred even with the charges for using Webjet it was still cheaper than the Jetstar app regularly use Webjet to check prices when travelling and have booked previously with Webjet Show details ·  1

Somewhat useful as a search engine but for the actual booking you would be better off booking with the airline and saving time on the excruciating Webjet website experience. After trawling through for hours, I selected flights and spent some time trying to select seats. That section of the website doesn't seem to work, so I cancelled, expecting to be able to select seats in some Manage Booking area. I got an email or two which contained an invoice and reference number and booking reference.

None of this allowed me to get into any area where I could manage a booking because the references were incorrect - a prefix IM needed to be added for the reference to work. And then, on the manage booking page, there was no way of managing seat preferences.

Following this, I got another email with the e-tickets and a third or maybe fourth number - a confirmation number in the universal airline booking number format which does not appear to allow managing a booking either.

Qantas may be rubbish and their website standout awful but it's less awful than Webjet. I really hope this doesn't go pear shaped since I doubt Webjet have any interest at all in fixing a problem for a customer.

We spent ages ( hours) scanning all your flights and fares, finally decided on the right one … so we booked it. Only to be told shortly after that it would now cost $1200 more…. no warning, just a notification after you accepted our payment. Ticket didn't come and you say it's not our problem we have to contact jetstar. You booked it so you should be able to fix it. Also webjet after other charges was more expensive than booking direct. Show details

The WebJet booking process was very easy and contacting them by phone to double check information was excellent was answered very quickly. However the answer to my question was not quite accurate and that it when the process became stressful. I don't blame WebJet but Air Asia have a terrible reputation for solving issues, had I known WebJet was in the end tell me to contact AA I probably would have not booked the flight I did. Show details ·  1

Booked return tickets from the comfort of home. Simple and straight forward. What I didn't like was: 1. A fortnight ago, on the Jetstar web site, it cost me $10 to choose my seat. So,...what spoilt the experience was 1. the extra expense selecting a seat. Twice as much as a fortnight ago. and 2. The $7 dollar Jetstar tax. Why doesn't Jetstar just add that to it's advertised price, instead of clawing out this extra.

3. The Webjet's booking fee, that's OK, but, there's also this "price guaranteed fee" Didn't expect that! All these little add ons.

'Tis good that I can buy online, instead of having to go out to an agent. That's convenience. Can buy the tickets before the prices go up.

Thankyou Webjet, in this case circumstances changed, and I had to cancel the entire trip less than 24 hours after I booked it. AND within 24 hours I received a full 100% refund. I hate being put under pressure to fill in critical details by a timer on a price guarantee. I think this is totally wrong, leads to mistakes and should not be once you are working through your deal. At the very least it should be at least double the current allowance Show details

Easy to book, hassle free and just simple to use through webjet my flights for myself and family we did through flight center but that was dear compared to webjet glad we could get home through this site much cheaper and will be doing more bookings next time round thank you. Show reply
