reponses, like I mean.... slow - they sent me an email demanding money within 7 business days 13 business days ago (lol) - Terrible communication - David himself is "always busy" and you rarely can get ahold of him - you will be met with "yeah! no worries at all, we can do that" but they will never tell you a price or be VERY washy with the price - I had a couple of things on the go with them and was told verbally that you would only pay for 1 of them, next min I get 2 invoices, when challenged they try to gaslight you saying we never said that. - When challenged (you are within your RIGHT to do so) they sent it to a independant auditor without telling you A: the cost and B: what happens if it is more expenisve - They won't actually look after your position properly either, they will do what you ask them to do and no more, so you better be a good laywer! oh wait.... pretty sure thats why I hired you? - They will try to invoice you for work never completed either - im in the wrong industry clearly!

For a simple tick and flick house settlement, sure no worries but if you actually need something done properly ie: business or complex, go elsewhere, save your self the trouble

Legal services comissioner it is....

Avoid for estate matters, aggressive communication and unethical behaviour. There are many firms out there that will handle these matters with dignity, but David Wheldon is not one of them!

Disgusting service – If I could give zero stars I would. This organisation is absolutely disgusting with their communication, fees, and overall care for their clients. They are all about the money! They fail to give you a cost analysis which is law, then charge abhorrent fees and expect you to pay. My experience with Weldon's was terrible and I can not urge anyone enough to go elsewhere

signed by my deceased brother. No apologies or even acknowledgment when pulled up on the error. I received another email later in the proceedings from the same senior paralegal addressing me as my now very deceased brother at which stage the alarm bells where ringing.

When probate was reached in September I believed the estate settlement would only be a matter of time but aware that its never straight forward and gave it time. Mid January the following year I enquired as to the progress but no return call. 2 days later, summoned to their office to sign the superannuation and bank documents that had been waiting, untouched and not thought of until my status enquiry 4 months after probate was reached. What had they been doing for those 4 months? How much longer would it have taken if I didn't enquire?

The senior paralegal at this stage refused to return my calls and the odd emails from her where out of hours. When I finally got put through to the owner himself he simply said he could not explain why she would not communicate with me and advised that 'the ball had been dropped' and that they where all very busy. To make matters worse, the owner then billed me for passing on that information.

To sum up, a simple will, no competing interests, during a very hard time you really need that trust. I guess Wheldon and Associates where a bit too busy to be bothered for me at least.

Save yourself the headache, heartache and keep your dignity. Go with someone else, anyone else will serve you better in my experience.

Unprofessional – This firm are Extremely Unprofessional, constantly loose emails, don’t follow up, don keep you adequately informed they charge ridiculous fees, stay away from this law firm they are appalling. Charge over $50 for a phone call. Didn’t get the job done had to seek help elsewhere

If I could choose a zero or minus star I would – They were employed to support me in a TPD claim in '17. I was bounced thru 5 junior solicitors, my claim was refused, and they didnt even tell me this for 4 months!! Cost me 20k for nothing! Beware, seek out professional help depending on your claim type!

For a novice, Wheldon's was what I needed – Never buying or selling, I was completely in the dark. Assisting my parents through the process Jayde made sure that we understood and helped to make the selling and buying process easy. The last time my parents purchased a property, it was back in the 70's, so, you can imagine how much has changed since then. Thank you to Jayde and all the team.
