Beautiful dresses but not ironed on collection. Service touch and go – Expensive dresses are given to you in a box. Not ironed. No try-on when picking up. No viewing. Just box handed to you. I’d have expected a garment bag with a beautifully ironed dress. Was sent the wrong colour wedding dress – Im in Perth and ordered my wedding dress through white runway. They only stock it in white. I received an off white wedding dress. It was also a made to order dress. I have had to email through pictures to prove that my dress is the wrong item. 11 weeks away from my wedding day and they couldnt sort it out over the phone this morning. No apology. mess. I ended up leaving and not purchasing anything. I decided to go ahead and make the purchase online and did all measurements of my bridesmaids myself at home since I had no help in the store. They arrived and fit perfectly - my wedding my scheduled for a couple months after.

However due to COVID my wedding is now postponed until next year and one of my bridesmaid has fallen pregnant. The dress is still in the box with the tags even wrapped in the tissue paper (two girls are the same size so we only opened one for them to try) and I had emailed asking if I could exchange the dress for a bigger size as I've already lost a large amount of money from having to change my wedding date and losing vendors and I couldn't purchase another dress. They have the dress in stock however they would not exchange. I was happy to pay a fee on top as I purchased the dress on promotion however no sympathy was given to the situation at all. I was even told this is a highly requested dress so in my mind they would have no issue selling the size I wanted to exchange however they did not budge. I just find it appalling that during such a stressful time they have such strict and unreasonable policies and no leniency at all. I wasn't asking for money back, I was even willing to add some money on top and exchange. They did offer me a 20% discount on the new dress however it was just a disappointment given the overall experience

you cannot return it, I would have been better buying this online as this does offer a return option. The other dress wasn't available and I ordered in the store, but to be later told if you order in the store, the return option also doesn't apply. Even though I had seen a dress of the same kind but my size was not there, apparently that I had SEEN the dress means it is not able to be returned even though the dress had to be posted to me. I had to negotiate for this to occur, which they did do. However to have sale dresses not available to be seen in the store when requested weeks in advance and still available online is a way to sell you only full priced dresses. I also find the fact that if the dress is on sale, it is still hundreds of dollars and they don't permit a refund unless faulty. Goes against every other online retailer. If you cant see see the dress, feel the fabric or even try the size on - and I can be from a 6-12 dependent on the brand how is this not possible. I wouldn't buy from White Runway again, I find their policies too strict and I would argue that buying online and not offering a return service if it doesn't fit, not just because it is on sale. may actually breach fair trading regulations

Thank You White Runway! :) – Had an amazing experience at White Runway Alexandria. My bridal party and I were greeted with champagne and our private fitting area on arrival. Gemma and Rocci catered to all of our needs. They even allowed other family members to try on dresses during my appointment. We were all very impressed by the huge range of different styles/colours. emailed them to return it they gave me the return number to send it back. Then they wouldn't re issue my credit note. They stated that credit notes wont be re issued so I lost my $220. When the dress didnt fit I even called the store to see if I could come in with it to swap it for a larger size before I posted it back and they said I couldn't. Will never buy from them again! M

we used wassup and they addressed any issues quickly. For example, some of my bridesmaids dresses came without a belts and as soon as I enquired about them, I received the belts in expedited shipping a few days later. I would highly recommend them Don't let the distance discourage you from ordering their bridesmaids dresses. You made my bridesmaids the most beautiful ever. Thanks a lot.

So even though the dress is in perfect condition and resellable, they won’t accept it back because a tag wasn’t on the dress. Now this could simply be human error but I’ve had to carry the burden and stress of something so minor.

I’ve worked in retail for many years and have never come across such a rigid and unreasonable policy and procedure. Customer service is the most important factor in any business that’s why I’ve decided to share my experience here so that no one else falls into the same predicament I’m faced with.

Still in the process of arguing my case and it’s not a pleasant feeling.

chocked. It says its a size 6 but seems to 12. I loved so much that style that I decided to keep it and paid $300 to get it fixed. The dress costed me $430...

The staff was absolutely lovely to me and the quality of the fabric is very good so no complaints. My only problem is that despite the dress size being the same on the label the dress i got wasnt the same i tried on in the store.

Excellent Service & value for money – I purchased my Wedding dress dress from the online store - delivery was prompt and i was very happy with the quality - my dress was a little too big - it was very easily returned and I had my correct size promptly. I went to my appointment , hoping that the dresses would be fixed and returned , but I was advised that they would not be getting these particular dresses back from manufacturer ?? . What sort of a business does this , they lost a certain sale . What I believe actually happened is that my two dresses were NOT put aside , another customer(s) came in and bought the dresses . I was able to purchase the dresses I wanted by going straight to the manufacturer and they sent the dresses out in two days and $ 80 less . I would not recommend White Runway Sydney store to anyone .

Worst staff waste of time – Visited the Melbourne showroom, had an appointment and my bridesmaids and I were all very excited to be attending our appointment. Beautiful dresses, amazing showroom however the stylists in the showroom were incredibly rude. Rushed us out as quickly as they could, made looks to the other stylist. Just appalling I planned to purchase a few dresses however have been put off by the awful customer service experience.

more to get it altered and tailored. I ordered 2 dresses and you would think they would be beautifully packaged considering I just spent 600 dollars! WRONG...all stuffed together in 1 small box. I will never recommend this company not even to my dead ancestors! through White Runway. Please do not be fooled - this Company does not care for their customer experience, do not supply the correct sizing of their garments and then refuses to rectify their mistakes.

The 4 girls involved selected and were ‘sized’ at the Brisbane store and were naturally very excited with their new gowns. I paid for all 4 gowns up front some $1200.00. What I got delivered for that significant amount of money, was 4 gowns ALL the incorrect size and no apology, no offer to rectify, no repairs, no resizing and no refund. Instead I was asked to ring the head office but no resolution there either. So appropriately and professionally we made another appt at the Brisbane store and attended with the bride and the only bridesmaid available as all live interstate. No resolution could be reached. When asked how this could possibly happen that ALL 4 dresses (not just one) had been ordered and incorrectly supplied by White Runway in the incorrect sizes (some of the dresses were up to two sizes too small) there was no explanation. When asked ‘where are the dresses manufactured?’ the assistant categorically stated ‘Australia’ yet the label inside the gowns states ‘made in China’! This is a mistruth - can I believe the other information I have been told by this Company? The gowns had to be urgently cosmetically altered due to incorrect bra cup sizes (which were not told about and was to our own expense) as it was the only time the girls could be together and 5 weeks out from the wedding) but no modifications took place to the incorrect sizing. Another appointment and two phone calls to the head office - and still NO resolution, options, apology or recompense from this Company. White Runway - we are bitterly disappointed with our experience and we are waiting for your response and your attempt to try and make this right.

had tried on in store. I tried on a size 8 and a size 10 in store and both looked lovely. I went ahead and ordered a size 10 (with the intention of taking it in a little for maximum comfort on the wedding day).

The dresses that got delivered were horrific. My dress is not a size 10, in fact it is even way tighter than the size 8 I tried on - so sizing is off by at least 2 whole sizes!!

The Bra cups came to my nipple and I am the one bridesmaid who literally doesn't have boobs, so you can image how bad it was for our busty bridesmaids!!!! The bra cups are also COMPLETELY VISIBLE through the dress - this was not the case on the dress in store.

When in store the only part of the dresses that didn’t fit correctly was the sleeves. We decided to get the dress anyways and get the sleeves pinned to make them sit correctly as well as the train shortened as it was way too long.

So we booked to have these alternations done through White Runways preferred supplier. These were booked far in advance as we only had a 3 hour time slot to get these alternations done (all the bridesmaids live interstate but came to Brisbane for one weekend - flew in Saturday and out Sunday to attend the hens party and get the alterations made). This was also the first chance we had to try on the dress and it was heartbreaking.

We got the alterations on the sleeves and the train done as this was our only opportunity, but no other changes were made to sizing or the body of the dress.

White Runway refuses to provide any support or compensation, even after ADMITTING that there were significant differences with the dresses!!!!! They have been rude and unhelpful throughout the whole process.

The wedding is now a month away and we are dress-less as they refuse to offer us any refunds, exchanges, remakes, cover alteration costs or even provide extra material. We have tried everything and they have said no to everything. They just don’t care.

I can't wait until the wedding is over so I can SHARE IMAGES OF THE DELIVERED DRESS everywhere possible to warn all the brides and bridesmaid out there NOT TO SHOP at White Runway (in store size 8, size 10 and size 12 images compared to the images of these sizes once delivered)!!

This is your special day, things may seem okay in the store but please don't trust this company with your order – they do not care about you or your special day

I called the main office to get an exchange sent asap and i thought they were playing a joke on me with the difficult exchange and refunds policy and service. good. The sizing in this style was not accurate. I had it repaired myself due to the limited time i had before my event and i was over the poor service with them at this point. I have returned my size 14 and still waiting for my refund but it has not been enough time as yet.. I'm crossing my fingers and toes the refund is processed and the difficulties with the company are over. I would not consider shopping here again even though the range and online store are lovely. Its just too difficult.

I arrived in the store, only have been told that they do not have any of the dresses i requested to try on were no there, the stylist began to show me something way off and different from the styles i picked and said "if you want you can try this on, just to see the size" i told her it is a completely different styles, and i am not interested in this dress.

As my event was 3 days later, so i ordered the item i didn't have a chance to try on anyway. the stylist measured me and very assured to me by saying yeah i think it will fit.

So I ordered size 18 of one of their dress after her suggestion, the dress arrived, measured like AU size 14 - 16. but This is not even the end of the story.

I have been told that I can return the dress, so I followed the instruction on their website, you cannot return the item unless they approve it. so eventually I got their "approval"

I express posted item back arrived at the address according to Australia Post on the 29th of March. only been told that "Please allow up to 7-10 business days from 3rd April. You will be notified once your return has been finalised."

Despite numerous emails, I have sent to them, till today received no refund.

The worst shopping experience I have ever had, out of pocket for nothing, wasted my time to visit the boutique for 45 mins appoint but stayed for 10 mins only. it will be nice if your staff just tell me everything I wanna try is not available in your store, so i would have just cancel the appointment.
