despite the passage of time, saw there was minimal wear and arranged for the pair of shoes to be replaced - all quite simple and painless, and a special thank you to Lidia in customer care.

Williams Shoes at Stafford advertise on their website that they open at 9am on Sundays, so I left home at 8:40 to arrive right on 9. The doors remained shut until 10:15am. back. The velcro, which was meant to "secure" the strap frayed and the stitching let go.

The carer kept the detached velcro, because Williams suggested that they would reattach it, however because it was so obvious that these were very poor quality all around, I felt that the best thing to do was to return the sandals for a credit to my sisters account. Given that the only reason it detached was that it had freyed past the original stitching, and the quality of these shoes was absolutely abysmal, I went to the store to return the shoes for a credit.

I've seen thicker blotting paper than the material used on the straps for the Volutae-IL (IL12764TANSM400). Still waiting at 10:45am, finally spoke with Williams staff member!

I finally arrived back home at 11:20 am, no credit, shoes left at store and I was told that I would have to return on the coming Tuesday for them to be able to organise the credit to my sister's account, so yet another trip required after 2 hours and 40 minutes completely wasted on a Sunday morning without any real progress!

I contacted customer service due to faulty boots. Even though my purchase was 4 months previously, I expected that with the price I paid, that the boots would last around 2 years. With great communication from Williams, I was able to have my boots replaced. I really appreciated that they were understanding with my situation and willing to replace the boots for me. looked correct. I opened the box to find a pair of fire engine red shoes. I was extremely disappointed as I had been looking for navy shoes for ages. The shoes were so beautiful I decided to keep them anyway. I wrote to Williams and they asked for evidence of the mix up. I sent photos of the box and shoes. They were polite in their response but that was it. As far as they were concerned, because I liked the red ones the matter was settled, no apology, no discount on my next order or even a token gesture of good will. Very disappointed.

found shoes elsewhere that really set the experience apart from every store we went into and I only wish we had gotten his name to thank him properly.

The Staff are not nice at all. This is in Cairns Central. I asked for a size 11 and they gave me it. I then was going to buy it but I noticed it had multiple creases in it. I then I asked them for new ones but they rejected aggressively. I really hope they get a lesson!

Excellent service, if you buy online and the shoes do not fit, you can exchange at a Williams store, many companies will not do this, they have you mail the item back at more expense. An incorrect pair of shoes were shipped. On contacting customer service the error was acknowledged within a few hours and a return postage sticker emailed to me. Next business day I posted the incorrect order and within 24 hours received notification that the correct order was being dispatched. Show details

In-store experience at Williams Shoes is always great. Helpful and friendly staff, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The on-line shopping is also great. My last pair of shoes arrived in less than 2 days. And you can return in store if they are not quite what you wanted. All round, Williams is a great store. Show details

very disappointing as this is not the experience I get from other companies. They are very slow on returns and refunds which is what other reviews have said. I just didn't expect their return process is poor. Will not be buying from them online again
