Absolutely and Totally overpriced!! We have been overcharged for years and couldn't change supplier as we are part of a body crop, it is disgusting to charge that much for the exact same thing. We are now with LPE and our bill has dropped from over $200 per month with Win Connect to $80 per month with LPE, could not be happier! Show details

even aware of. The moment I found out, I paid it immediately. Yet, even after a week, nothing was resolved, and I kept receiving warning emails. I don’t understand why I’m being asked to contact Recovery Corp when I have already settled the payment.
Overall, WinConnect is overpriced, has terrible service, and does not handle billing issues properly. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Shady, Horrible, Fraudulent, Over-charging – The worst company I've ever seen in the country. I received a bill in 2019 Dec and noticed that the rate doubled compared to the previous month. After a few months, before I was about to relocate overseas. I tried them again, it took six calls with over 1 hour waiting time, I was told they still don't have a solution for it. Fine, I tired. Then I moved on with my life. However, not long ago, I received an email from them rushing me to pay the amount, they wanted to charge me an overdue fee and threaten to escalate. ARE YOU SERIOUS?
This company is a total joke and has no moral sense at all. Your lack of customer support, terrible productivity, and inability to communicate should put you out of business soon. I suggest anyone that is or was on winenergy network should check their bills, it is likely you were OVER-CHARGED!

Garbage. Avoid – Residents in my apartment building were locked-in to this provider because I live in an apartment (antitrust much?). Non-existent customer service, callback service never called back. Finally time to ditch this company but was charged $38.50 just to disconnect. Show details

Avoid Origin and WinConnect as much as possible, as they are a scammer – I moved into a property with an embedded electricity network managed by WinConnect (owned by Origin). When I signed up to connect the power, I was informed there would be a $78.65 fee. provide. The representative I spoke with had a dismissive attitude, claiming they had recently changed the policy regarding this charge and no way it can be waived, but there would be no disconnection fee.
Due to some reasons, I had to move out after just one month. Despite what I was told, they charged me $38.50 for the disconnection.
In total, I ended up paying $149 for one month of service, all because WinConnect was trying to exploit people who have no choice but to use your company instead of better alternatives on the market.
I was also the customer of Origin (Also embedded electricity network) in my last property, their rate was excessively high, bills were often unpredictably high for no reason.
My advice is to avoid Origin/WinConnect as much as you could, which could make your life much easier.

Update – After getting the ombudsman involved with a very clear list of Winconnect's poor service behaviours, Origin (who did not make the actual error) gave me a $200 credit. Strongly recommend keeping records of correspondence, involving the ombudsman and pushing them to get the compensation you deserve. Incompetence and a reliance of people being too busy to follow up seems to be their business model. Show details

WINconnect presents as a scam company. Not a professional response to be found anywhere – Just moved in to a unit, which apparently has some kind of deal with WINconnect (I'm told I can't choose my own provider). Haven't moved in yet but they're saying I owe them $81.31. Have tried to contact them but their web form doesn't work. They haven't supplied an account number (or any other information for that matter. They present completely as a scam. Show details
Stay away n save yourself money n headaches – I was also unfortunate enough to be forced into a contract with this embedded network for the time I lived in an apartment. They were the only way to get electricity, and the pricing was extortionate. ever experienced. Don't even bother calling them, they don't/can't do what you ask them to. It's so bad I'm having to not pay the bill until they ring me. I'm considering taking to the ombudsman. I would never use them ever but I'm forced to because of where I live.

How many ways can you write horrible...awful...pitiful – The worse company I have ever dealt with. Their website and payment process has UI from the 1990s and their rates are horrible. Very bad customer service – Trying to connect the electricity over the weekend, it could not be done within the weekend, which is understandable as it's not working hours. But when I tried to ask how I know it's connected or not, the customer service staff could not give me the expected answer upfront, but just round and round telling me the "standard statements". Painful – They make the process of applying for a concession next to impossible. I am STILL getting emails from customer service about it, asking for information that they already have been given multiple times. It's so painful and they still haven't processed it after 2 weeks of daily emails repeatedly asking for the same details. And they charge too much. Forced to use them in an apartment and website/customer portal is terrible – Website is always down, was trying to move out this weekend and stop my service and it hasn't been available once citing maintenance but no heads up was given or alternatives or even any idea when maintenance would end. Shockingly rude customer service team – This company doesn’t really care about their customers. When there is an on-site metering issue which leads to estimated reads which are way off, they do not communicate to the customer at all and bill shock them without any explanation. Show details

If you are moving in to a building with an embedded network, don’t – We are stuck with Win Connect until we move out of our building, worst company to deal with. Their prices are out of this world. It's a terrible energy company – I have had a outstanding balance bought forward from two years ago. I did call and ask them to provide me the actual reading rather than estimates for many times during the two years. Unfortunately, nobody cares about you and always says ticket is issued and will get back to you. I have wasted lots of time on it which actually shouldn't be happened if the company is with professional and mature management. Very very disappointed. Show details
