Samsung Washing machine stopped working after 4 years, when it should last 10-15 years. Winnings said it won't repair as it's past the 2 year warranty period. OF CONSUMER LAW. We've made a complaint to Fair Trading. So if you buy anything from Winnings, and it breaks after 2 years, you're screwed. Hopefully Fair Trading will shame them into complying with their statutory obligations, otherwise we'll have to take them to court to recover the cost of a new machine. Pathetic! AVOID!

Terrible experience. Temperamental, difficult tradies, installation process full of added $ not flagged at time of sale. Customer care people who could not care less about customers, worst I’ve ever encountered. The whole experience was quite traumatic.

time in 2025 yesterday and within 2 minutes of operation there was a very strong and alarming burning smell coming from it. Immediately turned it off and unplugged it. Tried again today and same frightening smell within 2 minutes so again turned it off and unplugged it immediately. There should be no reason for its premature expiration as I have followed and adhered to all of the normal maintenance and proper usage procedures such as cleaning the lint filter after each individual use, etc.

Got told its outside the 2 year warranty. Clearly the machine cannot handle being used more than a couple of times a year and it is evident that if I had used the machine more than once a year for the first two years it would have blown sooner. The only reason it has lasted "this long" (ie four years) is because I barely used it for the first 3 years of its life. Then suddenly when I used it several times in one year (2024) it can't handle it and blows a fuse. Absolute garbage. Fisher and Paykel and Winning Appliances should be ashamed of themselves for trying to hawk such a cheap piece of rubbish for such an exorbitant price. I don't care if its just out of warranty. I want it fixed at no cost to me or compensation. Otherwise I'm contacting the Dept of Fair Trading. Stop ripping off customers!

I phoned and a lovely lady helped me select the washing machine that I wanted and the transaction was done in under 10 minutes. Washing machine delivered and installed the next day and the old machine taken away. Super easy to do business with Winnings.
