Misleading Information provided
I initially applied for a loan based solely on the fact that applying with WISR would not affect my credit score. As Credit Simple partnered with WISR I thought that this company could be a company that I could trust. How wrong was I. Unlike other lending institutions like 'Now Finance' who truthfully state on the front page of their website that the credit score will not affect steps 1 or 2 of getting a rate but step 3 of applying for a loan will affect your score, WISR NEVER stated at any stage that my credit score would be affected. This...is the only reason why I applied at WISR. Should I have known, I would never have spent 3 hours on an application, be refused and then see my credit score go from 700 down to 380. Just appalling. After speaking with WISR to find out why they affected my score, they told me that I should have known this would affect my score and there is a little 'special conditions' button that stated if I was to proceed my score would be affected. Oh! I must have missed that little tiny fonted writing as I would never have pressed to go ahead with an application. People - beware of WISR. If they have completely rolled people like me during this rate and application process, imagine what they would have done should I have taken out a loan with them. WISR should have been upfront at the beginning without using shifty and dodgy techniques to get you to apply as i would NEVER have applied for a loan. And to date, Credit Simple also haven't got back to me. Just disgraceful business practice.
