us the shipment hadn't even left Perth and wasn't going to be shipped for another 2 weeks! The WA Area Manager eventually offered apologies and to put us up in a motel for two weeks until our shipment arrived, and to process a $500 refund. When our shipment finally arrived in NSW (the container hadn't been cleaned and our furniture was filthy) and we checked out of the motel, the Wridgways Credit Card bounced and we had to pay the bill ourselves! Two months later, we still haven't received the $500 refund - the WA Area Manager has quit, the Accounts Dept. ignores our calls and emails, the "Customer Service" agent says they won't answer her email either! NOTHING this company has done showed that they were capable of effective, efficient or professional service. Use them at your own risk! Avoid them at all costs.

Waste of time and money – Made the mistake of getting Wridgways to move my items from Karratha to Perth. Initially, they seemed like there were on top of it. email saying they can’t do that date and they will be in a week later. Again, told them we won’t be home and if it’s an issue to let me know, got told they worked it out and it’s fine. The day of the move, 12.30pm rolls along and my husband gets a call to say the truck broke down and they won’t be in but they will come another day. Straight away I asked for a full refund. I was told it takes 15-20 business days to process a refund and I’m still waiting 23 days later and no response to my emails and still over $2k out of pocket.

Edit: 37 days later and still no refund. A lot of excuses but still withholding my refund. I’ve since read the company has had some part or all go into liquidation so be careful on who you put your money into to move your belongings. They are also very hard to get a hold off when you do need to contact them.

Their banking and payment system is so disorganised that they ripped me off my money for car and pet services and till now has not confirmed my payment nor refunded my cancelled pet and car transport services 1850$ AUD. 5. Very impressed with the service – James arranged our move that went very smoothly. We had quite a lot of boxes and furniture that needed to be moved from Dalyellup to Tooday. We also had a lot of pot plants and hanging baskets which the loaded as well. James and Rob from Bunbury were very careful with our belongings with wrapping and protective materials. Toodyay end were just as impressive. I’m sorry I can’t remember their names but they were careful in placing the 2 container loads where we wanted. Relocating - what a breeze! – The thought of having to relocate from WA to Victoria was a daunting one but it turned out to be a breeze Santa Fe Wridgways were great from the initial phone call right through to delivery of my belongings. Pathetic & unethical behaviour – We moved from Perth back to Melbourne in March/April 2020. It was a very significant move - appx 1.5 full containers, circa $10k. very friendly ect. up front, then when it came to the actual move they were sloppy, didnt wrap some items, dumped everything in boxes (loose), broke things before we even moved! And of course and the other end of the trip we found huge amounts of our goods had been broken / damaged through lack of care in the packing and transport.

We paid for "Gold" class insurance, so we meticulously catalogued all of the damage and submitted a claim. Wridgeways, have consistently ignored our phone calls, emails etc. When we are lucky enough to get through to the relevant person at Wridgeways, they then claim they need to speak to their manager about it and will get back to us - 6 months later they are still saying the same thing

They don’t care about your stuff – I recently moved from WA to VIC, after paying and sending back all the paperwork, the movers didn’t turn up on the day they were supposed to due to an “administrative error”. A whole box with goods has gone missing and my bed frame is damaged. Now they don’t reply to emails. This company takes your money and has absolutely no regard for you personal belongings.

Very disappointed with the hidden charges! – Use WridgeWays to move a full container load of furniture from Perth to Melbourne. After loading the container they emailed me a statement showing that there is a surcharge $104.50 for an additional packing. wrapped TV hence the surcharge of $104.50. No one has communicated anything to me regarding the re-packing you have no approval from me that willing or accepting to pay you a box at $104.50. By law you cannot force your customer to pay for things that I have never approved!! All I have to told prior my booking is that any box packing I require on the moving day will have an additional $16.50 for the material and if I need the movers to pack it will be $28.50 all inclusive per box. It is very rude and unprofessional to force me to pay, illegal in my opinion!!

Feel free to view the box that costs $104.50 with Wridgeway, they charge you without letting you know and telling you that you have to pay.

Prompt straightforward communication and the move went according to plan - everything arrived in one piece including the cat and the car - seamless and totally stressless and they even refunded us the space we didn't use in the container!

Hassle Free Move Interstate – We moved a couple of rooms of belongings from Perth to Sydney. In total 20 odd boxes and furniture. Wrigeways offered the best money for service and were easy to deal with. The movers arrived on time to pick up the goods and were very pleasant to deal with. Moses were fantastic. They were efficient, accommodating and very enjoyable to deal with. Nothing was a problem. Nothing broken or damaged. All handled with care. At the delivery address they were happy to put gear where it needed to go (because we couldn't move it around) securely and neatly. The guys, Glen, Ben and Moses, all worked as a great team and it was a very smooth no stress move. It was great to hear a manager compliment and support his staff with a lot of positively, and the guys certainly deserved the compliments.

Stay away from this company – We moved a 3 bedroom townhouse from Perth to Melbourne. The movers were prompt but they damaged the floor in the kitchen and entrance moving the fridge out of Perth. table and broke a lounge chair and coffee table. We organised a vacate clean through them and the cleaners postponed after accepting the booking without notification so we were unable to rent the place out immediately. Overall a terrible experience. Would never recommend them.

All items arrived safely expect a small furniture with damage. I admit it was fragile. I wish it didn't but can be amended anyway.

Overall, I am satisfied with their service and can recommend them to others.

misinformed her about the delivery date and they had to hurry and get the load out, which was representative of how it arrived. Broken and damaged items due to heavy boxes being placed on top of glassware and fragile items.

Originally we had packed all of our belongings ourself as we were ending a lease and not wanting to sign another 12 month lease knowing we were relocating. We informed both the move coordinator and my place of employment. Yet when a broken item was found in a box that was just thrown on the truck, they stated that items packed by my wife and I were not covered. Had we have known we would have unpacked all of our boxes and onto the street, left them there and when the arrived they could have packed them (sounds a bit much but that is how I understand their way of thinking). Another item that was listed on the invoice, given a number and damaged (the driver actually signed a paper stating the damage and telling us to call) was not paid for in full either. We lump it with other tools and therefore did not identify it as a single item therefore could not receive full replacement value. The driver admitted that it was their fault.

Deceptive and shady, not fully up front with the technical aspects of how they will treat your belongings and attempt to make you pay for their poor service standards. If I relocate again, I will request that I be allowed to choose my own removal company and will encourage those being relocated to do the same on the company blog.

A nightmare since our shipment arrived in port in Australia!! – This was an International move from PNG to Perth. We were packed up in October 2015, over 5 months on and we still don't have all our stuff! We struggle to get responses to emails or phone calls and we have concerns for our items. Manager and other senior persons, we believe we wouldn't have received even part of our shipment. We received partial shipment over a month ago. It arrived in Melbourne port instead of Perth and Wridgways advised this was because there was no shipment to Perth but another family was packed up a week after us and their stuff arrived safely in Perth port weeks ago. We are just an average family returning to Perth after working away for 3 years. We are frustrated and annoyed as this has cost thousands!!
