Absolute JOKE – After my wife put the wrong thing in our diesel tank , which she was unsure of what fuel she used. We arranged wrong fuel rescue to come out and fix the problem. any obvious damage I was told no to both. $650.00 LATER Car was driven for 3 days and began to idle rough and engine warning light flashing. Called them again they come out and the worker checked the system and said ad blue is inside the system. We can't fix or do anything. They refused refund even though I paid in full. I said if they previous time they completely drained and flushed the system how could we find adblue one week later? I never once stated I knew what she put in the car as she didn't know . Even still the website clearly states adblue contaminated fuel is part of there service they refused to fix mine even after I paid in full and they supposedly fixed it the week prior. Take your car to a mechanic to properly fix these problems . Save time and money.

liters. Vortex diesel and Unleaded pump next to each other, I wasn't concentrating been driving for 6 hrs straight and yes panic set in. But it was ok rang wrong fuel rescue and there were out within 30 minutes.$ 300 bucks total cost but worth every cent, I thought ok I will never do that again 3 years later.
Boom did it again but this time I had half a tank of diesel in the tank and after realizing I was pumping in unleaded 17 liters had been pumped in. So again wrong fuel rescue drove all the way to Shepparton from Melbourne and again pumped it out. I booked the job the night before and Jess was fantastic sorted out the deposit over the phone. Yes, I paid for this mistake but again I'd rather pay for the excess travel than rebuild a stuffed engine. James was great drove all the way from Melbourne and I was on my way after 1 hour of pumping and getting to the fuel header tank under the back seat.
Wrong fuel rescue was the only service that would drive out of the metro areas as well, so added service right there. Wrong fuel rescue is a business it costs money for this service count your lucky stars they offer this quick service of pumping out the wrong fuel. Instead of towing the vehicle manually and draining the fuel and costing even more time and money. This is a quick easier solution I'm defiantly getting one of those diesel-only filler caps, learned my lesson big time, it's so easy to stuff up for whatever reason, and wrong fuel rescue will be your lifesaver trust me better to get it pumped out than risk your expensive engine.
5% unleaded to a full tank of diesel would be ok but not 20% in my case nah not taking the risk.

Charged more than quoted plus 'hidden fees' as evidenced on recording of booking provided by Head office. Head office unresponsive/slow to respond to emails. Would not recommend. Actual service person was great - efficient, knowledgeable and reassuring.
Follow-up · Charged extra fees for card payment - cash not an option as phone bookings only and must pay a deposit. Call recorded by head office - had to ask several times for copy of recording - playback confirms 1. Quote included GST, yet was charged extra 2. No mention of card payment fees, but was charged fees 3. Cost of can of diesel. This was all itemised and sent to ‘[Name Removed]’ with no response - approximately $100 in extra fees and charges.

I phoned Wrong Fuel Rescue after putting petrol in my Kia Sorento instead of Diesel and driving for 8.5km. Simon arrived within 2 hours and had fixed my car within 3 hours. Very grateful indeed!!!!!
Reece at command centre was very helpful, giving an estimated time of arrival of the tech, tech ( Brett ) phoned me on his way to me, to get info, did the job and gave me a phone call when finished, explaining in detail what was done and the outcome, I was at work, my wife was at home to give him keys etc. Very happy with the service, can definitely recommend them. purged my system with new fresh diesel and got my engine running smoothly. His personality was very friendly and he was easy to communicate with. All through the procedure he kept me in the loop on how it was progressing. On the back of his expertise, I will recommend his services to everyone that I know if in need of of this type of rescue.

if i can give them a 0 i would a Chinese man screwed up my sparkplugs which cost me an extra $550 to get them replaced, and he did not know what he was doing only good to drain out the wrong fuel, never ever get them they are a rip off bad customer service
I recommend you don't use this company. Not only are they extremely expensive, they have bad customer service. There are many other cheaper companies operating, just shop around and be very careful if they ask for a deposit.
Booked the service, told by technician that they might not be able to make it due to an accident on a major Highway. Cancelled the booking and they kept my deposit. No fault of mine but they kept my money. Terrible, don’t use.

they couldn't do on the Santa Fe due to the location and difficult access. However, I still want give them 5 stars because from the first contact to attending my vehicle the service was first class. And because they couldn't get my car going they processed a full refund. This is their policy. I hope I don't have to use them again, but highly recommend them if you need your fuel problem sorted.
Follow-up · Communication was excellent. The "technician" arrived within the two hours agreed upon. We all knew the issue, and I can only assume that they hadn't had previous experience with a 2.2 CRDI because the team manager said they would use my vehicle experience in one of their upcoming training sessions.
Service was second to none. I was stressed that I damaged my sons car by mistakenly putting unleaded into a diesel vehicle and the attendant was reassuring and professional throughout. Wrong fuel recovery were great from start to finish. I’d broken down in my beloved hilux in Tweed Heads, and WFR were quick and efficient in getting someone to me. Dan R had to travel from close to Brisbane to get to me, but kept me informed of his movements, then worked in a torrential downpour to get me back on the road!! Highly recommended. Last Friday. Had 20l of diesel in tank and added 30L petrol. Drove 6kms before I realised something was wrong (car was coughing as I accelerated through gears). Four days later car is still purring like a kitten. I can thoroughly recommend Wrong Fuel Rescue.

Petrol in diesel and driven 200km – Put 55l unleaded in my 80l diesel Ute tank - brain fade - and then drove 200km to my home. Realised next morning when I tried to start it. Rang these guys expecting the worst but it was no problem, they drained tank, filter turned it over with a bit of aerostart and away it went. We’re in the bush about 90 mins from Adelaide and they came within 4 hours, can’t say enough good things about them.
Fast, inexpensive, smooth process – 5 stars for Josh!! I had put petrol in my diesel car last night. Josh came to my rescue today at my place in Kardinya. He was reassuring and explained the situation well. I highly recommend to anyone in the same situation. A smooth and inexpensive process for an unfortunate mistake.

He was extremely professional in his work and we had a chat about life whilst he sorted the problem out. Crap don't use wrong fuel rescue – I got quoted $550 to drain my tank . The guy was 2 hours late . I ended up paying over $800 . Go to your mechanic it's way cheaper. Raa tows your car for free. Total rip off.
Holiday blunder – Fantastic service. We put the $20 of wrong fuel in, while we were here on holidays. Matt was here within an hour, and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend them !

Great experience all round – Fantastic and friendly service from the team in the call centre to Josh the technician (Melbourne) during a stressful situation when their competitor didn’t show up after a two hour wait. Highly recommend this business.
