Started off good (buying experience, delivery, assembly) but then found a piece was missing. Spoke to customer service, who wanted more unnecessary information, and finally got them to agree to send the missing piece. That was 2 emails and one month ago. Still waiting. Oh, and the nice brown colour on the website is actually Baby Diarrhoea Yellow.

there. A week goes by and the bed hasn't moved, it's still a "label created" with no tracking. Sent an email to query it and had no response for days, then finally a response about having too many orders and not wanting to overload their courier, so they were not sending out orders, and no mention of when it might be sent or the other part of my order... 5 emails later and my bed is actually moving and I get told the bed head is out of stock, but should be in by early September. Mid September I query the bed head and get told they're coming in on the 22nd of September and will be sent immediately. On the 26th I've not had a shipping notice and tell them to cancel it and refund it. At no point were they proactive and reach out on their own to tell me there were no stock or delays. Always me trying to find out what was happening. Such poor customer service that it doesn't matter what the product is like if you treat your customers like they are nothing. Transparency will win every time.

Best purchase I've made in ages. Was looking for something sustainable but still strong, and this is perfect. It's lightweight, easy to move, and supports weight like a proper solid frame. So happy with it!

I try to live as sustainably as possible, and finding a bed base that's 100% recyclable AND made from recycled materials was a win. No compromise on quality either. love it!!!!

As a student, I needed something affordable, sturdy, and easy to shift when moving between rentals. Yona nailed it! Took me minutes to set up and I love that I can pack it flat when needed. No fuss, no tools, just a solid bed base that does the job! I love it!

I placed my order on 13 July 2025. It has been almost 3 weeks and there is no sign of my purchase. 23 July. On the 24th of July I received a notification from Yona that they’ve prepared the order for pick up from the Courier. The Courier company “Couriers Please” alert me they’ve received the shipping information. It’s the worst system as you can’t contact their Customer Service team. I get notification on 28 July that they picked up the product but that the product is overdue for delivery and then shows it should have been delivered on Friday 25 July. It’s now 30 July and there is no update on the Courier’s website. I sent another query to Yona on Monday 28 July enquiring about the delay with no response. Worst service - I would have been better off ordering a traditional bed base from another provider. If you order this product - be ready to wait a month!

My bed did not match the videos on the QR code. Didn't have the same tabs (the two tabs on outside that hook together were there but not the tabs you apparently push inwards and lock together). struggled significantly with floorboards, nothing for it to grip to stay open. Sending it back, lost 2 hours of my life trying to figure it out. Also they told me it would be a 2 week delay to deliver which I was fine with but it took a month with no updates unless I emailed and asked. Absolutely shonky company.

the box and because the bed is made of cardboard it went straight through to the bed. 2. The bed was not that easy to put together as described, you definitely need 2 people so if you live on your own you're in trouble. 3. The bed does not work at all on wooden/laminate flooring. The bed slid around and changed shape and was super unstable with the mattress on top. 4. It looked nothing like the pictures, the natural colour in the pictures looks like a lovely golden brown colour and looked thick - this cardboard was a dull grey brown and the way it folded together reminded me of the inside of a wine carton - Flimsy, very unstable and really not very attractive. Notice how all the pictures on the website are of the front of the bed and there's not really any of the sides? That's because the side of the bed literally looks like a pile of cardboard you'd find in the skip. I'd say if you're in a pinch and you need a cheap bed then maybe it would be okay but it's actually not even that cheap for a box of cardboard. You could just spend an extra $100 and buy an actual bed. 5. The return is gonna cost you $30 per bed and you're told that the courier could come any time for the next 5 days but also are so impatient that you're told to leave it outside for them to grab or they might just leave, which is exactly what happened. Living in a 4th floor flat on a busy street in a city, it's obviously not possible to leave the box outside for 5 days. Honestly wish there had been more truthful reviews on here so that I hadn't wasted my time and money.

I move apartments a lot and this bed is a game changer. Super lightweight, easy to set up and just as easy to pack down. No more struggling with heavy wooden frames. this thing is kinda like magic lol

Buyer Beware. Scam – Don't waste your money because when you decide this isn't going to work, they won't admit it's a faulty design and punish YOU by making you pay $30.00 to return it. full queen shape and it wanted to keep going right back into the original shape. The video to show setup is about 30 seconds long with no actual verbal instruction. At almost $200.00 a pop, this is a huge rip off. Be careful, because they take no responsibility for not holding up to their promises that this bed will do what they say it will do. Buyer beware. mattress on top to hold the base still and then push the sides of base under the mattress to make it work. Is a sturdy bed now but I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

Cardboard clouds – The CEO was clearly asleep at the wheel, leaving the fate of the company in the hands of a delusional sales and marketing team. This product is a nightmare—an overpriced, harebrained idea executed poorly. It simply doesn’t work. If the CEO can’t be bothered to test their own product, why should anyone else?

Perfect for me – Easy setup. The foldaway design and light weight was perfect for me. Getting it up a staircase through a narrow corridor and into a small room was so easy. Set up was straight forward and the bed itself is solid with no lateral give.

Light but stable! – Online chat staff was very helpful providing information to help me make decision. The bed was light weighted whilst stable. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and so far so good. In future it’ll be extremely easy to recycle it if I don’t need it any more, which is perfect for me:)

Love the bed, hated the setup – The Yona bed is good, no issues with it now that it’s finally set up, but it’s definitely harder to put together and keep together than all of the videos show but once the mattress is on it’s perfectly fine. 2 adults can sleep comfortably without fear of falling through to the floor.

Great bed! – We are highly impressed with our Queen bed base. Set up was quick and easy (just read/watch the instructions!). It doesn’t creak or squeak. Love that dust can’t get underneath. Delivery was very quick

Great value for money, the new standard for my bedding – This is the second time I've ordered a Yona. Got a double for the guest room and now have the queen as my bed. I love the simple assembly, lightweight design and durability. You really can jump on this thing and have even more fun if you'd like. I love my Yona bed!!

Terrible product stay clear – Absolute garbage, l also agree with all the other one star reviews, this is not a product to purchase to have long term. Opened box and looked as if it was second hand. Keep away from any areas that may have moisture.

Took over three weeks to receive email responses and follow ups, had to chase up almost every week for an update. Bed base collapsed as soon as light wait mattress went on top, terrible set up instructions don't try to set up on carpet, if you want larger than a double they send you two bed bases (doubles) to then having to put together side by side, this is not suitable as it is to large as you spread it out and it all buckles and can't be moved easily on carpet.

Waiting for a courier to pickup up and return product is not the consumers issue, then again had to wait for refunds, and had only 1/4 of the refund returned there reason, "past the 30 day full refund policy "what a joke"

possible to do so on my own. After having slept on it consistently, I notice no significant difference between it and my old bed frame. I have already recommended this product to friends and family members, and would happily purchase another if I was looking for an additional bed for my home.

noice – it's good and sturdy, only issue is if it's put right on wood or slippery floors it will accordion back into itself if the mattress is moved, but other than that it's a solid bed base and I'm happy with it

Perfect for a guest room – The Yona was quickly delivered and easy to put together. (Follow the instructions)! The mattress sits well on the base and feel secure and comfortable. Able to maintain integrity with heavy weight on top.

Affordable flexible strong bed base – It’s really strong and fairly easy enough to set. I am having to move it rooms few times a week and it’s easy by doing so to unclip or slightly loosen/bend some corners so I’m concerned it might not last so long. Otherwise it’s a really great affordable option when needing to move bed often as it’s light, stylish (I got the white one) strong and very comfortable.
