leering at me non-stop staring with hostile rude behaviour and attitude, harassing me, shouting and carrying on with rude unprofessional behaviour at the Zamel's Westfield Parramatta store. The man named [Name Removed] told deliberate lies about my paid jewellery order that was still not delivered to me. [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] were withholding my jewellery items purposely and maliciously not providing me my paid ordered jewellery items. The customer service is completely unacceptable by [Name Removed] and [Name Removed]. These employees should face disciplinary action with immediate dismissal. The behaviour of [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] at the Zamel's Westfield Parramatta store was disgraceful, serious harassment, unethical corrupt conduct, where they have told deliberate lies, misrepresentation of jewellery pricing, have stolen my money, and have failed to provide me with my jewellery item that I purchased several months ago and have been waiting to receive but have not received. sent to me in. I emailed straight away with photos and asked for a refund as there would be enough time to get a new pair sent out before Xmas, my email was unread and no response, I then called and spoke to someone advise my email was unread after a week, she then said she can see my email and she will arrange me to drop it off and then refunds I dropped it off two days later this was now Xmas Eve , I new that the refund may take a little longer due to being closed for Xmas I emails on the 5th and again on the 9th no response at all I even called twice and left voice messsge no return call, what type of customer service do they have working there it’s appalling. I have now finally after 5 emails and 4 phone calls spoken to someone today not in that department and they even made comment on how bad they are. They have processed my refund finally and I will never buy from them again. Warning for other customers go elsewhere

it'll be covered for life based on the RRP price and not the Retail price when clear as day it says that the extended care plan will only ever cover up to the value paid for the product! After leaving the store with my details and requested that the regional manager contact me to discuss, I then tried calling their customer support number (with some autobot telling me to then go online), I submitted an online enjuiry, and sent them an email and guess what.... Not even a peep from them. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS AND DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK PRODUCTS THINKING YOU'LL BE PROTECTED BY ANY CARE PLANS.

how about stop having sales if you can't fulfil existing orders?? End of January I recieved a generic refund notification, no explanation or any other communication regarding my order was ever recieved from Zamels. Ordered another watch from another company on the 1st Feb, very late replacement Xmas present after the Zamels failure, this other watch arrived 2 days later. Terrible service from Zamels, theres no excuse, they just dont care about customers. Never again.

 Follow-up  · I did try calling, went through to a store, they said the stores have nothing to do with online orders, and gave me an email address, that was the 2nd email I sent, no reply. No refund reason was ever given, and it was not a unique watch at all.

Zamels several times over two weeks, sending multiple emails and leaving phone messages with their customer care team. No one returned my calls, and when I finally received an email response, it was simply to say I couldn’t have a refund — no apology or proper explanation.

After spending nearly $1,000 on sale from $2999 that level of customer service is unacceptable. Be aware that the lighting in-store makes jewellery appear much brighter than it looks in natural light. Very disappointing experience from a brand I expected better from.

 Follow-up  · No other solution except I can now pick up my pendant from in store. I tried Head office and Knox retail store. Poor quality. the ring on, and we discovered that it was too large. When we returned to the store and explained the situation the salesperson was again very helpful and understanding. She told us that unfortunately the jeweller who did the resizing was in holiday for 2 weeks and when he returned it would take another 3 weeks for the resizing process. Whilst this was obviously not ideal, we accepted the situation and left our details to be contacted when the jeweller returned from holidays.

After the two week period we had heard nothing from the store, so we went in to enquire. We were then informed that in the last week Zamels had changed their policy and no longer did repairs or resizing. We were told that our only option was to leave our ring at the store for a period of three weeks whilst they found an independent jeweller, and that the total repair time was undetermined. This meant we were supposed to hand the ring over to them, with no idea when we would get it back. We found one of the staff members to be very cold, abrupt and very unsympathetic to the situation. Luckily, the other staff member was more empathetic and gave us the advice to find an independent jeweller who would give personalised service. She was very helpful and understanding. We took her advice and found another jeweller who had our ring on my fiancé's finger within the week.

Whilst we do not blame any of the individual staff for our experience (except the woman who was downright dismissive), we are extremely disappointed in Zamels after sales policies, and their implementation with no consultation to their customers whatsoever. Zamels complete disregard for their customer's satisfaction or needs only added to what is already an emotional experience, and very nearly replaced joy with anxiety and disappointment.

In summary we will never do business with this company again, especially with regard to our wedding rings, and we will will also dissuade any one we know from shopping there.

I would be really embarrassed to admit I worked for a company that treated customers like this. My time is more valuable than to waste it any more on their so called customer support. job to do - she then said she hurt her eye looking at my ring which was fake, very interesting that as it clearly wasn’t fake.

I then asked for a quote for resizing, she said it will be a quote from just a sales assistant and her quote was pointless and to come speak to the jeweller - I asked if a jeweller was available today and she actively laughed in my face and said ‘Hahha of course there isn’t, it’s a Sunday’ and found this fact hilarious. I cannot believe her rudeness to laugh in a customer face - given the fact that I came from a shop 3 doors down who I actually physically spoke to the jewellery about my ring.

Then on walking out she couldn’t wait to bitch to her colleague.

Later on I saw her smoking outside the front door of your shop - not great!!! Just an fyi.

DO NOT DEAL WITH ZAMELS. I had five (5) rings put in for re-sizing paid $635 'Cash' as by paying cash this was the 'Best Price' as per 'former Manager'. I received a phone call from their 'jeweller' and the repair was only $135 not the $635 so I believe the 'former Manager' pocketed the $500.00. I had to make numerous phone calls and emails to Zamel's head office who lack in customer service, still waiting after 12+ months for a copy of my final receipt for ring purchased and no one bothers to get back to you and when you call if you speak to a certain young(ish) lady I will not give out her name as I am putting a complaint about her customer service attitude. I spoke with Consumer Affairs who said that Zamel's had broken a number 'policies' and to speak with the store and see if able to resolve the issue and I reluctantly accepted a credit of $500 as could not be bothered to deal with them any more and now have a ring that the band got bent and not by me catching it anywhere but I was informed by a Zamel's employee that Zamel's head office will say that I had caught the ring causing the issue which is defiantly untrue.

the sales staff wanted to be genuinely helpful, I gave it a three-star. Apparently, as it was explained, when a ring gets resized, which I had done on both, stones can come loose. I purchased one in the shop and one online. The one I purchased from the shop had to be sent from another store, arriving two weeks later, and it was the last one of its kind. The woman who sized my finger originally first stated that I was a size "O", then she concluded a size "N" which ended up too small, which led to the resizing of both rings. I bought the 2nd one online, going by the initial wrong assessment of the ring size. This meant going back and forth to the expansive mall to the shop, and by bus or Uber, each time, as we don't have a vehicle. First to have ordered the first ring, going back in two weeks to pick it up, second visit . After a couple of days I realised just how tight and uncomfortable it was. I waited for the second ring to arrive from the online purchase so I could take them both in for resizing. So that was visit number three. I get them both back and the next day I noticed that one of them had a stone missing, went back to the shop, visit number four. Two weeks later I was able to pick up the ring from the shop, making it visit number five. A lot of visits within a span of 5-6 weeks; a bit much. So the upshot, the staff had been pleasant, helpful and congenial. The integrity of this business's products are questionable. I don't believe I will be buying from this business in the future, as they seem to be of the lower end in so far as jewelry shops go. I'd avoid it if I were you, keeping your options open to other higher-end stores. They may be more expensive but in the end it would be worth the extra expense.

 Follow-up  · The staff's solution was to have their jeweler repair the item by replacing the missing stone, at no charge, of course, since he hadn't initially used caution when resizing. Multiple visits anywhere when you don't have your own vehicle is always a pain, but the fact that the shop was inside of a big mall, made it all that much more inconvenient. … Read more

When the ring was ready for collection, i couldnt have been happier. It fited perfectly & it is absolutely beautiful. I have been back to Neda, at the Parramatta store, 3 times now. Each time i recieved nothing short of excellent customer service from her & ended up purchasing something each time. Why would i bother going elsewhere, when i know Neda will give me the best customer service each time!

full refund, I was sent an Australia Post receipt on the 11th of July saying they were in receipt of the rings I had already cancelled 3 times via email.

I recieved contact last Friday, saying they would refund me when I returned the items unopened etc. With NO MENTION of them paying for returning.

I am lowering the bar every time I purchase from a store nowadays....but THIS is so amazingly poor on EVERY.SINGLE.LEVEL of customer service that I would highly discourage ANYONE from making a purchase from Zamels, whether online or in store. I cant give less than 1 star.... otherwise id give them ZERO.

service. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZAMELS. It's an appalling business and they don't give a damn about their customers. It has cost me another $80 to have it resized, twice.
