I in august 2019 made two payments for items from zanui totalling $571. I was told it would be 10 - 12 weeks to supply. Fine after 12 weeks I called they confirmed goods would be arriving to them 13th November then to me between 15th - 18th Nov. I called on 18th Nov to then be told the company had been bought out and they didn't know if the goods would be supplied!! But if I agreed they would refund me - very disappointed but I agreed as I needed the furniture so thinking the money would be duly returned I set out on the hard mission of find...ing alternative furniture. No one had notified me the company had these issues what if I hadn't called? But unfortunately the saga with zanui goes on as nearly 3 weeks later I still have not been refunded and the lack of customer service is absolutely awful. I simply cannot afford to be this much out of pocket. Currently putting together a case to submit to a current affair as this company is still sending out emails advertising goods for sale - do not purchase!

SPREAD THE WORD!! This business is fraudulent and currently under administration. They are still taking orders and operating as per usual, however, you will never receive your order and you will not receive a refund. You may even get an email reassuring you that your refund is being processed - FALSE. The refund will not be issued. I even received a phone call from Zanui apologising for what has happened and letting me know the refund is going ahead - false!!! Has never gone through and the call can not be returned as the number will not connect.
Mouldy Rug and no one will answer the phone nor reply to my emails.

I bought a large floor rug from Zanui that was delivered a couple of months ago. The room for which it was intended has been under renovation and last week we unrolled the rug to see it was covered with very large areas of mould. The rug had been stored inside, in its original packaging. I have emailed several times no reply. The phone number is cut off.I would like a replacement rug as it is lovely. I have bought from several on line stores during my renovations and everything else...

Be very careful buying from this website. I have purchased a sofa with delivery for $1500. Despite receiving an email informing me the item has been shipped the transport company who are supposedly delivering this have informed me that they don't have it and they are no longer working with Zanui as there is a 'problem' with their account?? I have tried numerous times to call customer care to no avail as apparently the system is being updated. I have emailed, reached out on facebook only to come to a dead end. Let my experience be a lesson to you and think very carefully before purchasing from this company. I will continue to locate this sofa and report back.
Complete rip offs buyers beware
Company went into voluntary administration and stated orders after 9am 28th October will proceed and be processed and sent orders before that will not be processed. I placed an order 204413962 at 5pm 28 October the bed I ordered stated 1-2 days dispatch time. After 3 days I called zanui and was advised there's a slight delay but it will be sent, so I found the supplier details NEWAIM and contacted them directly to find out there is no order placed for that number and nothing coming up under my details. Called zanui and supplier each day for 4 m...ore days and got the same result. Today I was told by ZANUI that they are waiting for dispatch confirmation yet there is still nothing on the suppliers end. How is zanui going to get a dispatch confirmation when they haven't placed the order to the suppliers!!!!! This just goes back and forth with no result and the best part is I paid with afterpay who said no matter what I still have to pay for this purchase in full!!!! No offer of cancellation and refund Straight out thieves So many people are in the same predicament just read the facebook page. As toovey would say "Someone needs to be held accountable!!!"
Just wanted to say that I'm very happy with my new rug-arrived today, only a few days after placing the order! It is just like pictured on the site. Excellent price for the quality. I'm so happy that I wish I'd ordered 2 !!
Bullsh!t communication and lost money
Order products, 2 damaged. Collection for return organised but they showed up three days late. The next day after product finally picked up I receive email saying no refunds/credits will be processed.
No product and no money was refunded, no store credit and no replacement. Now Im out of pocket and no one gives a sh!t.
Very Bad Experience
Zanui sent us a rug that a legally blind person could see was faulty. We emailed our complaint and after two days received a reply to ask whether we wanted the option for a credit or replacement. We replied that we wanted a refund. A few days later after a follow up phone call we were asked to return it to where it was delivered for collection and then to receive a refund. This was done and specific days were given as to when the rug could be collected. The freight company called to collect on a day that was not specified, the rug was taken, t...hen within half an hour we received an email that the company was being placed under administration and they would not honour a refund November 30th 2019 Update: Scam artists extraordinaire. Do not believe anything they say. Go to Temple and Webster instead. They are more expensive but you will at least receive your goods. Ordered a rug, was faulty, refund promised but of course never eventuated. Just stay away. If you must throw your money away, find a rubbish bin and cut out the middle man.

Product delivered totally different from what is displayed on website. They arranged to collect the product back (unopened and in original packaging) but after many promises of a refund, I have been informed they effectively have no funds to process the refund. Neither can I order other other products in lieu despite the functioning website. ***BUYER BEWARE***

I ordered a number of items last week. Yesterday one chair from a set of two I purchased arrived. I emailed today to ask where the second chair is and they advised it is unlikely this order will be fulfilled and are currently unable to process returns, credits or refunds.
I can't find any information online about them being in administration but this is what their email said. Comments turned off on their Instagram account.
Surprised they're still accepting orders during this time.

CROOKS IN LIQUIDATION
Ordered from Zanui 3 weeks ago took my money order never despatched. Many emails to customer care only to find out yesterday administrators had taken over no refunds for orders prior to 28/10. A lot of small businesses are owed money by Zanui. My advice do not order through this company...disgusting!

Ordered three weeks ago and after numerous calls in which I was told it was coming I now find out they are in administration. Do not place any orders they will just take your money.
November 1st 2019 Update: What to do when Zanui goes into administration and refuses to give you a refund
Since posting a review myself and reading others it seems we are all in the same no refund boat.
I checked out consumer affairs and there are two options in this matter;
1. Contact the administrators and lodge a proof of debt claim. In this case you will be registered as a non secured creditor of Zanui. These guys are jerks and non secured creditors usually never get their money back....2. Contact your bank and ask them to reverse the funds. This is the better safer option. Ive done both but up to you guys! Zanui are also still accepting orders online so I guess just tell everyone you know whats happening so it doesnt happen to anyone else!

I ordered on 17/10/19 and dis not recieve the product. I recieve an email on 29/10/19 advising Zanui has gone into administration. Do not place your order here. Lost money.
Terrible customer service, probably they have no one serving as customer service!
I put an order with Zanui and a few MINUTES after I placed the order I went to their website to cancel it due to finding another item somewhere else which suit my need better. There was no option of cancelling my order, so I called and was responded by an automatic answer as "Our system is down, please call back later". then I had an online chat with them and they said as your order has gone to our supplier it takes time to cancel and we have to see if we can actually ,.... They told me that I will get a respond in 24 hours. Guess what? 24 hour...s passed, no answer to my phone calls, no answer to my emails, and apparently there is no one working in their office at all. I don't even know if my order has been cancelled or not! This was my first shop with Zanui ended up to be a terrible experience after all!
