We made enquiries over the phone, via email and dropped into the showroom at Crows Nest. All our questions (including of a technical nature) were answered thoroughly and the guys were not pushy at all.

Two main factors in determining Zenna as our choice:

1. The latex is a single thick block of latex rather than layers of thinner latex blocks. This way the latex is less likely to deteriorate over time. In fact I had seen some latex wear on another brand’s pillows in the past, and whilst the pillows should be replaced from time to time, the mattress really should last 15-20 years.

2. The Zenna latex mattress is made in Belgium and is subject to EU certifications and regulations whereas most of the other online sellers source their mattresses from a Sri Lankan manufacturer. I’m sure they are ok, but different standards and quality.

Two months on and we are extremely happy with the mattresses so far.

The mattresses are very comfortable to sleep on (we all like the firm option). Though the softer side isn’t bad at all either.

My son used to complain with his old mattress that he would get too hot and he would have a hard time getting to sleep. Since we got him the Zenna mattress, he’s slept much better as the mattress does not cause you to over heat.

Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and can enthusiastically recommend Zenna for your next latex mattress.

floor, every morning I woke up with back pain.

Three years ago, I replaced this very firm mattress with an Aldi one. I kept the base.

The Aldi mattress was very soft, it was like sleeping in the clouds, and at that time I did not realise why, but I woke up with no pain in the morning.

Because after three years the mattress sagged, and I started getting back pain every morning again, with my wife we decided to replace it. After reading countless reviews on various mattresses our choice fell on Zenna. The 25-year warranty, the very high sagging score, and that it is pure latex helped made up our minds.

When the mattress arrived, we put it on the same base we had, and the mattress was very soft. We slept like in the clouds, extremely comfortably. The only problem was that you could not sit up or kneel. It was just way too soft.

Then I checked the base, and I realised that it had a wooden frame, but inside it had a spring system to give the original, very firm mattress some bounce, else it would have been rock hard.

Thinking that this base would damage the Zenna mattress over time, as it provided little support to it, and seeing that Zenna recommended a slat base, we bought a slat bed.

Now the mattress was on the firm side, just as Zenna claims. I need to stress, that if I had no back problem, we could sleep very well on just the mattress, without adding anything on the top. It is very comfortable! But because in my back a disk is damaged, I needed extra softness.

Therefore, we bought an 8cm thick gel infused memory mattress topper, that bounced back to its original shape in 2 seconds. This solved the problem I had with the back pain in the morning for good.

If you want a mattress that you will not have to replace for decades, Zenna is a very good choice. Make sure you use it on a recommended slat base. If it is a bit firm for you, you can always add a topper to get extra softness. Some mattresses might have the right softness out of box, but for us, it made a lot more sense to invest in a good quality, long lasting latex mattress, and add a topper on it. For you can get these toppers very cheap, and it is a lot cheaper to replace them, then the whole mattress, when they sag.

Customer service was great, but the mattress didn't suit my back – I have ongoing back problems and had high hopes for a natural latex mattress. I wouldn't get a latex mattress again because of my back issues, but I would happily recommend Zenna. Even though we had passed the 100 night return deadline, Dave offered to refund us anyway when I explained our situation. I was very pleasantly surprised. He was really helpful and accommodating, which is a rare thing in a lot of businesses today.

If you are on the fence about trying one, I can say that Zenna will look after you if it doesn't end up being the right mattress for you.

Good quality mattress – I have been sleeping on my new latex mattress from zenna for just over a month now, I can definitely confirm I sweat less than I did on my previous spring mattress. No longevity (but see update) – Did not work for me. After 3 years I have to get rid of it due to sagging to the point I get back pain. I have not had any other experience with latex mattresses to compare, but 3 years is not good enough longevity for any mattress. At this price I would expect better. Super comfy! – When we first rolled our the mattress i was a bit concerned because it was pretty soft feeling and weve always liked a pretty firm mattress. However its really supportive in all the right ways and my shoulder doesnt get compacted from my weight (as a side sleeper) like it used to. We bought 2 x Queen Zenna Latex Mattresses and some accessories in August 2021 but held off leaving a review for 3 months so that anyone reading this will know that we still feel the same about the mattress comfort and quality after trialling them for this period as we did after the first night we slept on them. We love them! I have always been a light sleeper and have occasionally suffered from neck pain, it used to take me a while to get back to sleep after waking up during the night, but after sleeping on my new latex mattress I noticed that I get back to sleep much sooner than before and the neck pain has diminished to the point where I rarely get any. Lying on this mattress after a strenuous day is bliss. The only negative thing I can say about my new latex mattress is that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning:)
