They got the lenses on the wrong sides and for years I thought my eyes were the problem...
I sent my prescription in and got the glasses back ok. Tried them and gave up really quick. I thought it may take some time but I didn't see immediate improvement as others talked about with their first pair. I tried three wore times over three years and same, they did nothing. My right eye needs no correction but the left does - a lot. I thought the optometrist got it all wrong so I went back after 3 yrs for a re-test and my eyes weren't too much different. I went home and the wife pulled out the old glasses and said ' try turning them upside ...down and whalla!! success. Thye had mixed up the lenses and put them on the wrong side!. So tonight I tried to contact them and was on a chat with a condescending Joseph who stated they were past warranty - really thanks Joseph and also told I should have noticed this immediately and let them know - thanks to Joseph for your advice!. So this guy suggested the issue wasn't with them and needed to see the original prescription - somewhere deep in the pile of stuff - no chance.. Well just warning you all to be careful as this is a rookie mistake to get the lenses wrong. Never again. We have bought four paris for the family and can't risk this rigamarole. I have bought directly from a retailer (Specsavers) yes for extra $$ but they will gladly fix any problem without being condescending.
Have not received my glasses
I was promised that the glasses that I ordered would arrive before the 22nd of December, it is now January 7th and I still did not receive my glasses. I am told that customs is witholding my glasses, if this is true than Zenni should factor in customs for the arrival date of the glasses, if I knew the true date of when they would arrive I definitely wouldn't of bought them, and instead bought glasses somewhere else, I feel like I have been taken advantage of, and I would not recommend Australians to buy from Zenni

Light weight and comfortable with great style. Very easy process and navigation to get these glasses. Ive never had a problem on this site over the last 6 years except one prescription that didnt work . But this was sorted very quickly and without drama .
The best place to purchase glasses
It was easy to organise an order for my reading glasses. The cost was much less that I can purchase in Australia...I can purchase a number of reading glasses for less that purchasing one pair here in Australia. It means I can have a pair kept in the car, one in the workshop and others as required carry with me. I am never without my glasses...a great solution for me. Highly recommended.

Photochromic lens is misrepresented
Store was easy to navigate. Easy to enter prescription and you can save it easily for next time. Frames seem to be well described. However, I was burnt on the photochromic lenses. They advertise that it goes from clear to dark grey like sunglasses. Instead it goes from a constant yellow tint (something to do with the Blockz lens) to a grey shade that is possibly 5% darker. There is no way that this is anywhere near sunglass levels of tint.
Postage tracking wasn't great but acceptable given price, but the misrepresentation of the lens has...ruined the experience. I was offered a "one-time only" store credit OR 50% refund. They said that a 100% refund is not an option which leaves a sour taste when they now misrepresent our rights as Australian consumers. To be honest, I would attempt to buy basic single vision lenses again but wouldn't trust darkness of sunglasses so they'd be only those without tint. It's unfortunate that they don't show real pictures of their lenses and represent shades accurately. I'm sure they could do better than my example attached.

Great, the only place I'll get my glasses from
Locally (NZ), glasses are really expensive. You can get frames relatively inexpensively, but the lenses themselves often set you back a lot of money - especially if you want things like blue light filters, scratch/oil/water-resistant coatings, etc.
Zenni offers lenses at really good prices - including the "bells & whistles" stuff - and an incredibly wide range of frames from cheap to expensive. Instead of laying out a few hundred dollars for a single pair of simple glasses from my local optometrist, I'm able to buy 3-4 pairs of glasses for t...he same cost with far better lenses in each frame. I investigated other online glasses providers, but no other provider (that shipped worldwide) provided the same range for similar prices. Their website is simple and intuitive to use, from virtually "trying on" the frames, to entering your prescription, and selecting the type of lens that you're after. Because I can buy a few different pairs, I find it easier to be more adventurous with the frames I choose and can swap the pair of glasses I'm wearing in and out depending on the day, and not just get by on the single pair as I used to do. The shipping is fantastic as well - my glasses order was put together in 3 days, then shipped and in my hand 10 days later (13 days after I had placed my order). This is a similar wait to what I've experienced when ordering glasses locally. One other tip, is that I'd get someone else to measure your pupillary distance for you if you don't already have it, as I was off a little bit from what my wife measured - and she turned out to be correct (as she often is). I've recently made my second order for a few more pairs of glasses from them, and highly, highly recommend their service to anyone searching.
Very high quality of service and products
All the information needed to order what you want is right on the site. It can be followed through step by step to check that you're ordering exactly what you want. If you have more questions there's a chat feature. I love my new glasses! They fit well, are a comfortable weight, and provide a great view both for driving and to wear as distance glasses generally. I may even take to wearing them fulltime (except at the computer/reading - I have my last order from Zenni to do that with!). I have never had a bad set of glasses from Zenni.
I have always loved how easy it is to get what you want from Zenni online. I have ordered now at least five times and never had any issues, I love the huge range of styles available to suit everyone along with the huge choice of lenses and tints. I love the transparency of cost where as going into a retail store you are under the impression youre buying something for say $199 but then by the time you add on all the extras they tell you you need to up to doubling that! Affordable glasses that look and feel great.
Very affordable, great service!
Ordering the glasses was very easy, and fun! Great choice of frames, lenses, tints and extras. The question I had using Live Chat was answered quickly and easily. I got two pairs of glasses for a quarter of the price I could get in New Zealand. Well done Zenni for making glasses affordable.
Fast delivery & Excellent Choice of Eyewear
Website is very easy to use and you can download a photo and "try on" the glasses to get an idea of what they look like on. There are many styles to choose from. You just upload your prescription, choose your glasses and pay. I have made a number of purchases now (multi focal) and have been extremely satisfied with every pair of glasses.
I don't feel ripped off with Zenni
I bought my glasses from Zenni after I was sick to my teeth dealing with the local Aussie eye ware stores, especially their ridiculous and tricky "offers" of no-gap
SpecSavers stuffed up my progressive glasses, and that's after they took all the measurements and using all the hi tech gizmos. Curiously, ordering online from Zenni with no gizmos, my progressives fit me perfectly.
You get what you pay for I guess.
Despite their Facebook page saying they supply high quality glasses at affordable prices, in 2019 this is no longer true. Back then Zenni were using good quality plastic frames with good quality glass lenses which were easy to clean. Now they use bad quality plastic frames with even worse quality plastic lenses which smudge every ten minutes and are very hard to clean. Not only that, my new glasses also have a permanent mark on one of my lenses due to how easy the plastic is to damage. Their support team (although can't do any better I suppose)...said that they only supply plastic lenses which is a very bad move for glass wearers like me where the lenses get dirty very easily. The icing on the cake though is their designs are so dorky where their older designs looked smart and professional which to be honest makes me embarrassed to wear them. If it was 2013, I couldn't recommend them more but in 2019, I sad to say that you should stay far far away from them and sacrifice a few more dollars for some nice frames with easy to clean glass lenses. Sure glass can be dangerous but they are much better for cleaning and durability all around.

I've made 7 purchases from Zenni in total. Each time has been fast and simple. The hardest part is deciding which one of the awesome frames to get. And every order has been perfect, the prescription has been exact and the product exactly what I wanted. My latest - a pair of prescription shades, are just amazing. The clarity is excellent, even driving directly into the sun. So I am incredibly impressed with these.
Customer service is also excellent. I had to contact customer service because I no longer had access to the email used to set up my ...account, wasn't an issue, they had me connected back up in no time. And recently, I lost some clip-on shades so I contacted customer service ... and now I have a couple of pairs of those on their way. So I highly recommend Zenni and their service to everyone.
I have specific requirements for my frames (small nose bridge), then I know exact shape and size of lens will suit me. I found that easy to find at Zenni as all measurements provided - particularly in the search menu.
Second purchase from Zenni and I am thrilled. I am from New Zealand and you just cannot buy frames like this at the price Zenni offers. The expense of new glasses is horrible here.
I know exactly what I want. I was wearing glasses at 3years old and I am now 62 Surgery laser or otherwise not an option so I make them a fashion accessory. If people give a bad review I would be sure they don't read or understand the specifications
I totally support Zenni
I wish I could review the glasses - regrettably I cannot because I did not receive anything. A month ago I got notification that they had been shipped via Landmark Global. Clicking on their tracking number led me to a NZ Post tracking number giving their location as Mt Wellington, Auckland as of 22nd August. Inquiries with NZ Post revealed that they do not have a depot in Mt Wellington and had no record of the shipment entering their system. They suggested I contact Zenni. I did and they said WAIT. Disappointed.
