We have been scammed, they are fraud – My husband couldn't go on because he was sick and they refused to give him his money back i tried to review them through Trustpilot they were keep asking about the same documents i have sent them everything i think even Trustpilot is related to them I believe now that we have been scammed
Bullied from the start... cancelled course and still paying – I commenced a course with Acquire learning. Was bullied by the tutor in the first week . Not impressed. Then was bullied again so I told the tutor to cancel the course as I had been bullied at school in 1966-1975. I now find the course was not cancelled and I want the course fees paid back to the ATO which has never happened. This company I feel… Read more
is only after money and does not concern itself with the students welfare even if they are online learning only. So when is Acquire learning going to cancel and repay my fees to The Australian Tax office . I did not complete the first module. Adrian Gofton
Cold Call Scam – I have attempted contact on 1800 YOUR EDDI - several messages have been left and no response I have contacted Andrea Kane on 0419 770 136 - number is disconnected I have emailed several times and no response has been given. Best Study Experience of my Life – Acquire Ed are the best organisation to study through. Confused by so much negativity – I don't pretend to know these peoples personal arrangements with acquire learning. In my case the diploma of leadership and management is free until I earn more than $56.000.00 a year which is then paid off with my tax return. I have found the easily accessible resources of information and assistance to be quite adequate. My only negative… Read more · 1
observations would be the delayed response to students forum posts. About a week on average ( a long time to be anxious awaiting a reply). The other I have observed but not yet experienced as I have not yet completed my first assignment, are the posts submitted by students uncertain as to whether or not they have successfully completed their assignments. Lack of informative feedback.

Who's taking responsibility for this rort – This is so wrong the Management need to do the same course themselves what a joke. Who's held accountable for this mess I am disgusted. The Government need to shut down these rogue RTO providers. How can they sell the course at a cost of $20,500 when another RTO can sell the same course for $3,400.
HOW CAN WE WITHDRAW WITHOUT FEES – Hello all. I refuse to pay a company who unconscionably lead me to believe that I'd be getting a rising star job program and unlimited course extensions as I'm completing university. Has anyone been successful in contacting them in terms of withdrawing without penalty? Surely others have been victimised.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! – Please read all the reviews below and also mine which are all accurate and I'm speaking from experience. It's been a run around nearly from day 1, support structures which were promised but never delivered and getting an answer is like getting blood from a stone. as you'll see from the responses below from acquire it's pretty much a cut and paste… Read more
answer and that's how they respond when actually contacting them through their student portal. I too have made various complaints to Acquire and I'm still really getting no where. Now I'm going to seek further help else ware (government) to see what they can do as pretty much it's all been false advertising and a scam from day 1. I too was contacted by careerone when I was looking for work and three months pregnant who made it all seem so easy that i could complete while on maternity leave and it's been the furthest from the truth. Now I've been told I have a few months left to complete otherwise that's it! Even though the company has changed the course structure, made me start again and there's no workshops or face to face help or interaction as promised!
I wish i just signed up with TAFE or Uni as I would had paid the same and actually received the help needed.
Also worth a mention that they are in hot water with the government for pretty much VET scam and false advertising by their sales team when signing up new students.
DON'T SIGN UP THROUGH ANY COMPANY!
Go directly with a reputable college or go to TAFE or UNI. Now I'm spending time trying to get help and get options from the college itself to see if i can study directly but nothing yet, still hoping!
I really hope the government takes notice of all these reviews and takes this seriously as Australian students are getting ripped off and so is the government through Acquire!
Acquire Learning - no need to respond with your auto pilot response - you don't care what we say or what happens to us otherwise we wouldn't be in this mess to begin with!
Thanks for nothing!!!

Don't bother – DO NOT waste your time and money with these people. I, like so many, have been scammed something shocking by these people and it's absolutely atrocious to be involved with a company like this. Please do not get involved.
I want to withdraw – I have sent a complaint to the education department regarding your firm. Nobody wants to answer or reply to any calls regarding cancellations??? I am documenting every email and attempt to call as instructed by Study Assist.
I'm at my Wits End – I have been studying with this company for nearly two years. I got signed up because I was looking for a job, which they promised if I did the course. I was more convinced because of the mobile mentor and having someone face to face to talk to. Well 6 months later, not a single job interview was set up and all they did was email me links to job… Read more
search sites which I was already on myself looking. Now they have made the mobile mentors redundant and working full time, nobody is available on the weekend to help with my assessments. They have had my assessments for 2 months now, unmarked and I've sent multiple messages regarding this with not a single response. Being located in Melbourne, they don't have a local number to call. I'm now in $19,000 worth of debt, my course is ending in March, I've still got assessments unmarked and I can't get through to anyone that works there. I will never never never use this company again. Their promises are lies and they just leave you hanging.

Do not sign up – I'm in debt of 7000 for a course i did not want to do in the first place. A person will contact you saying the received your number from job seeking website such as career one. Taken advantage of – I was constantly called at the age of 18 while seeking a position online and they somehow got my details. gained no knowledge whatsoever. I was completely taken advantage of because I was a young adult and didn't understand what I was getting myself into. DO NOT EVER AGREE OR SIGN YOURSELF UP WITH THESE GUYS!!! Go to a legitimate university who would be much cheaper! and not a training provider that signs you up with dodgy or scamming online universities that no one has ever heard of because they only want your money. This is absolutely disgusting and I hope anyone involved gets into a lot of trouble. I feel for everyone who owes a lot of money and makes me feel better I'm not the only victim.

Poor, do your diploma elsewhere! – AcquireED is terrible. If I could, I would go back in time so that I don't owe $29,000 to these scumbags for a 'Diploma of Management' which I will never complete, especially given you never get a response from your tutor. Completely unprofessional and most likely unethical – Acquire is the worst learning environment I have been involved with (I have a B.Cr.A, a Cert IV, and more from reputable institutions). Acquire reek of shoddiness, do not keep to their contact arrangements, webinars are awash with technical difficulties and are often not even running even when I've been waiting 20 minutes just to make sure. website functions and looks like a high-school student built it. Feedback on my first assignment was 'not yet competent'. That is not feedback! It tells the student nothing. I received the same enrollment phone-calls other people have commented on about improving my job seeking options through further training. It seemed like a great idea and at least I could be productive whilst unemployed. Once my spider-senses started tingling after a few weeks I did research online about Acquire and discovered just how disreputable they seem to be. I can only concur with other comments - stay away from this 'training' company. Undoubtedly their PR division are far more competent than their training division. I expect the same generic reply here that others have also received, with the sole purpose of saving face in an attempt to beguile further clients. The facts are not what Acquire blurt out here but what is seriously being reported by investigative process. The reality is I wouldn't event want a diploma from 'Acquire'. I'd be embarrassed.

Stay Away. Save Yourself – I was repeatedly cold-called after applying for various jobs on job seeking websites. I eventually answered a call and told them that I'm not interested and they bullied me into a course (Diploma of management) that costs much more than if I completed it on campus at TAFE. I was initially told that the course was "basically free" and when I found… Read more
out of the price and what I had gotten myself into I attempted to unenroll but those calls went unanswered. The single time that I got through I was told something along the lines "try out the course, it's basically free, there's no time limit to complete the units like if you were in uni!"
Ultimately upon failing many modules due to a lack of support and learning materials, I decided that I still didn't want to continue the course and once again attempted to unenroll. By this time my circumstances surrounding access to the internet and other personal issues had arisen and I decided that the stress was not worth it. By this time I had realised that the company was unlawfully conducting business and had been investigated by the ACCC with only 5-7% of enrolled students actually finishing their qualifications.
Don't take my word for it though! Below are some links to news reports and finding by the ACCC about the company.
You're better off going to TAFE!!

They are rip offs – I undertook the learning due to it been an online course, I never thought it would cost so much $23,000 what a load of crap. biggest crooks are the govt. for supporting these crooked agencies. They know how much these courses cost they have all the details. I also read an article where Acquire learning is been investigated for such acts. They never tell you upfront what it costs, once you have agreed to do the course and already started they send you the breakdown of each subject and the total cost. I don't even want to leave such a debt for my son when I die. I intend to take action.

employment service provider getting it organised for him to do, and also because he doesn't deal with scammers on his mobile, usually only his friends can contact him & his employment service provider. Acquire introduce themselves as able to get him a job and then tried to rip him off by enrolling unemployed young people like my son to sign up for a course costing $19k upwards. After cancelling the enrolment we also emailed a copy of the 'cancel enrolment' email to the education department to let them know as well. From now on when looking for work we will put a different mobile number online so that we can vet the calls. Young people are depressed enough now through the pressure to do good. Can't trust phone skulkers anymore, plenty of scamming going on especially on people who have no money in the first place and they're young and working towards trying to do much better for themselves. I wanted to pass on the message to inform others.... this happened last Monday 01/02/16 ....

They refuse to cancel and cancelled my course – I signed up for a dual diploma in business and management. At the time, I was a single mother working 2 days a week. I will be seeking legal advice!! Not sure how it will go though :-(

Don't trust Acquire Learning – All the marketing and feel good distractions can no longer distract from what this company really is – a group of shark businessmen manipulating the system to sell vulnerable people into debt. Everything they say and do is a front. Zero ethics. Time to prosecute and shut em down.
sus and dodge as hell – The online "support" you get is awful, the feedback on your assignments is awful as they expect you to know to fill answers that aren't even a part of the question. Applied for some jobs on job-seeking websites and got many phone calls to enrol in their course whilst they were guaranteeing jobs whilst studying. Tried to cancel my enrollment and… Read more
they've told me I've passed the census date by over a month - barely a month and a half after being duped into the course. There's no way in hell that people can start - let alone get the feel of a course in 2 weeks especially when teaching content is just flashy graphics and no substance.
I'm a full time uni student and I can't believe they call this "teaching" and learning - there is virtually no support and the support that you do get is beyond useless.
