I again asked another customer rep why i am being charged and he said i wont be charged and that its just for bond that if product is damaged when i send back. So i knew the product is unused hence i sent it back. But they still deducted my 9 dollars . I talked to countless customer reps, showed them all proofs and everything but they just never refunded me the return shipping fee. Such bad customer experience i will never buy again from them. had. Instead of simply refunding a clear error, they:

Dragged it out for ages demanding photo after photo, even after I'd already supplied full proof. Pushed me to accept a 10% refund on a product that is 100% wrong, presented in a way that seemed designed for a customer to click "Accept" without noticing how little it was. Told me I should pay return postage and take their mistake to a post office myself - which, under Australian Consumer Law, is not the customer's responsibility when the seller ships the wrong item.

When I tried to lodge a formal complaint by email, the messages to both service@aliexpress.com and their own AEBuyersServices@aliexpress.com address came back undeliverable. A company that ships the wrong item and then provides no working channel to complain is not a company I'd trust with my money. I'm AU$172.03 out of pocket, have disputed the charge with my bank, and am prepared to take it to Fair Trading. Buy from AliExpress at your own risk - if anything goes wrong, expect a fight.

hold because AliExpress cannot guarantee reimbursement of the return shipping cost, even though the products are defective and their own policy states buyers should be protected. Customers should not be forced to risk more money just to return faulty items.

I want to warn other consumers to be extremely careful when purchasing from AliExpress, especially for expensive items. If something goes wrong, you may end up wasting a lot of time, money, and energy with little actual support.

I am continuing to escalate this matter to Consumer NZ and other consumer protection authorities because I believe AliExpress is failing to properly follow its stated return policy and consumer protection obligations.

AliExpress — please stop giving generic responses and properly resolve this case by confirming reimbursement of both the defective products and the return shipping costs.

treat me like they were the customer not me by asking if I would refund them! I then continued to ask for their address. To date this has not been provided. I then escalated to Ali Express customer service. Who then offered me a 30% refund. To which I said no, under Australian consumer protection I'm entitled to a full refund as the item failed in 12 weeks. Plus my attempts to obtain a return address for a repair have been ignored. Ali Express customer service then withdrew the 30% refund and said there will now be no refund! Not to mention I had met every request in the sending of multiple videos, photos, back and forth to bothe the seller and Ali Express. I mean seriously, for such a simple obvious request for refund became an example of the worst in customer service support.

Be warned, Ali Express customer service WILL NOT help you. And Xiaomi Mi Home Global product is of very poor quality. And will also not help you.

appealed the case several times and contacted their live support. Unfortunately, every time they just asked for the same documents again and again, and finally rejected my claim without any fair solution.

I spent my own time and effort, worked with my bank for a chargeback, and I still have all the proof. This is not how a global platform should treat honest buyers.

My advice: 1. Always check seller reviews very carefully. 2. Pay with a credit card so you can dispute the charge if needed. 3. Be prepared for poor buyer protection.

I’m sharing this to protect other buyers. Feel free to reach out if you want details — I have full photos and videos to prove everything.

Shoe scam – Do not buy these shoes from "happiness" shoe store or one that is just numbers. I wanted these so much I bought them both twice. The carrier emails failed to be delivered, as did the shoes. I don't think they exist.

already provided them with the tracking number since we did not use a return shipping label and it clearly shows the item has been returned to their NSW warehouse as per the Australia Post website. I sent them more than 10 emails. But they keep saying they cannot provide a refund since the item has not been returned. I am so disappointed!

 Follow-up  · I am extremely disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and accountability shown by your company. Multiple emails have been ignored, and there has been no genuine effort made to resolve this issue. I have effectively lost my money dealing with a company that appears to have little regard for customer responsibility or basic communication standards. This experience has been unacceptable and deeply frustrating.

returns each month, and I was impressed that refunds are processed as soon as the goods are lodged with Australia Post for return.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews elsewhere because, in my experience, AliExpress is more accommodating than eBay and often much cheaper—especially if you don’t mind waiting a little longer for delivery.

I always use PayPal for extra security when buying from any online store, whether local or overseas. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with AliExpress’s policies, prices, and service.

 Follow-up  · My experience has not changed since my first review. Deliveries take abou 7 days and I never had any custom issues on any delivery

(Bose, Dyson), ceramics, replica lighter and various other items. Most were cheaper than on eBay. Every time I received the exact item I had ordered except for one ~$3 item but I got a full refund without even having to ask for it. The longest shipping time was about 2 months to Australia, postage was very reasonable or free, communication excellent and quality very good given the prize. I do intend to use this service in the future and can wholeheartedly recommend it. And no I haven't received any perks from them for this review but wanted to honestly share my experience

 Follow-up  · Quality of filter and ear pads was very good given the price. Not as long-lasting as the original parts but then in my experience even genuine replacement parts (Apple, Makita, Bose) never matched the durability of the original ones. The longest shipping to Australia was just under 2 months but generally much less, and no, never had any issues with customs

knock-off or fake brands on here too. For example, Makita is nothing like the market leading quality ofvtheirccompanycsppnsored and manufactured products. I bought a Makita 18V angle grinder where barley turns on and off and runs hot and cold. For a couple of home jobs is hit the mark but it’s runs rough and is obviously Makita in name only. Lithium batteries -BEWARE! Lots of propriety brand fakes which are variously compromised on quality and can under-perform and overheat. Don’t charge these batteries where they can cause a fire. That’s not AliExpress’ fault but certainly of liability as with a range of non-compliant electrical products. My biggest gripe is the so-called new buyer deals. You can literally spend hours creating an order cart of seemingly very good prices. When you finally go to pay at checkout, only one or two products are in your cart(as per invoice). If you back out it’s under threat of losing the deals or free delivery. So having paid for 1-2 of say 50 items, when you return to your cart the prices of every single itms have reverted to normal retail and your invoice value has exploded. No doubt the reason will be that you are a returning buyer, not a new buyer; despite all the items being in your cart at confirmed pricing and free freight. I regard this sales and invoicing behaviour misleading and a scam. In case of a welder that could be $350 more. And a $1.40 knife is suddenly $17.30. The $1.40 bicycle bell is now is now 11.19. There is no warning about the ricecchanges and had I simply authorised PayPal without checking my bank account would have had a hernia. Dishonest marketing tactics. And always check your delivery costs eg a seemingly cheap Chinese tractor for $1949 might cost $33,000 or even $68,000 for delivery. The advertised price is only recognised as a deposit!! No trick. DO Not expect any vendor to reply to your pre-purchase queries. In my experience they simply don’t even if you can find a seller contact (usually not). EBay is the place for customer experience and transparency.

I find the quality of their products are far superior to Temu etc. our latest purchase of a JBL sound box was 100% authentic and half price of cheapest in Oz. have refused and requested they issue the refund. I bought this product based on price. This is blatant fraudulent activity. This is typical of aliexpress and its sellers. So much dishonesty. I lodged a complaint through there help section only to be told the fraudulent activity of the seller did not violate their platform regulations, so obviously fraud is welcomed by aliexpress. That's it for me, I will not deal with aliexpress anymore, they have simply ripped me off too many times. I have notice that every review of aliexpree is in the negative, so I'm not alone.

team answered via email asking more documents....so I sent the post office invoice plus the tracking number. They replied that on the invoice were not written my name and other details. So i went back to the post office to complete the details and send them the document. They refused to refund the return shipping money offering coupons. I refused and i explain that i paid in cash and i am entitled to be refunded in cash...The seller had accepted my claim --Case Number:2503807885656704) --and i forwarded the sellers acceptance BUT THE CONTINUE TO REFUSE. I explain that all other major online platforms when is a sellers fault, they usually issue prepaid return labels.....or they refund when they receive the post office tracking and ivoice....and also in one case the issue a numer code so the buyer can insert the return item into the BOX IN self service. Unfortunately the Aliexpress team does not refund ...they KEEP THE MONEY in custody and they blackmail their customers

Wouldn't recommend to use AliExpress anymore. Sellers sell faulty products and refused to refund with full evidence. One seller (Shop1103654064 Store) offered partial refund but rejected offer and submit a dispute/refund for full refund. AliExpress consistently delete the dispute case. Customer Service Agents are just bots. Emails to CS responses… Read more

are also useless. They are all automated AI replies. AliExpress is a scam these days. Another seller (SONY TOP Golden Medal Store) sold a 2TB SONY pendrive but on validation with Validrive SW revealed only 730GB useable. Contacted seller, but response is waiting for supervisor to verify. Provided all the evidence from the Validrive report. AliExpress kept on deleting dispute case. Seller has closed shop now.

aluminium moulds for casting, and a sieve to make the casting sand as fine as possible. Only one of the three items I ordered arrived. The clay ring mold that arrived was a cylinder which I did not need(I have a lathe) and a container with a lid arrived instead of the sieve. So I decided to lodge a complaint. Even if you are throughly computer literate the process is convoluted and difficult. And I could have lived without the supercilious comments from the merchant I thought I was purchasing the sieves from. They offered me a refund if I packed the container up and returned it, having accepted, because of photographic evidence, that I did not get what I ordered. But it is just not worth the trouble. I will find a use for the container and probably toss the round ring blank in the bin. I have now unsubscribed from Aliexpress and will not use them again. There are reliable alternatives, some are more expensive, but at least you get what you ordered and their dispute resolution procedures and usually much better.
