Saved me hundreds in attempted theft losses – Excellent customer service! Very impressed. My card details were stolen by a skimmer and not only did Auswide's anti-fraud team block the theft of several hundred, their team called me multiple times, even near midnight on Sunday, to ensure they weren't blocking a legitimate transaction. Happy client – I recently got scammed by an overseas company, contacted Jess sharma , from the sarina branch about the incident. I had personally given up on this money being returned, but Jess didn’t , resulting in my money being recovered Jess is an absolute credit to the Auswide banking community .

Follow-up · It’s been a while (almost a month) with no success with the initial issue but the holdup was not her fault or Austwide at all it was ASICS by not giving clear instructions at the start. Leanne was very apologetic and I appreciate that . The fault with ASIC, I found the fault and at no time did she blame anyone but could not stop apologising . Great lady and great branch. Mistakes get made but we just have to keep going forward . I’ll get there .

Walked in to open an account and was given an immediate response from the teller and then the bank officer - unlike another bank when i was told to come back in a week for an appointment. charged me $2.50 for each Term Deposit "they opened". Apparently it is impossible for me to open a term deposit completely, they must do the final step and then they charged me for that when I am investing in this organisation. I have not ever been treated like this before by any financial institution. I feel that what they did is morally wrong. I only found out what they did today and then changed my plans to invest much more with them. I will close all of my accounts with them and not ever bank with them again. Whilst they might have made a paltry $5 from acting in such a despicable way, they have lost a great deal long term. They make more money off investors willing to bank with them than acquiring commercial money to fund lending and then they just have to act appallingly. I was not ever informed of these charges or I would not have invested with them. Shame on them.
They also send snail mail for some notification regarding investments thereby damaging the environment even when you request that they do not send this. In this day and age there is absolutely no need to send anything by snail mail. Shame on them on multiple levels.
