I’ve always wanted to study Wildlife Conversation! With a background in animal welfare, enrolling in BEN206 was such a great way to not only supplement my current knowledge, but deepen my understanding of the more niche world of ecology and conservation. The course materials and resources are clear, practical and enjoyable to research, and the… Read more

self-paced aspect has been perfect for me to balance life, work and study.

As I’m progressing through this course, I have already obtained such valuable insights into the tangible ways that we can help to ensure the survival of the world’s last remaining species. I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learnt in this course into making a real difference in the conservation space.

Teaching was bad, zero communication Help support was bad, zero help. Got email to let me know my course was finishing up 12 months in the next month. Still trying to submit documents from my first assignment that they didn't help me with.

Empowering Course – Being a horse owner, I wanted to better understand how much and what to feed my horse to ensure his optimal health. Having not studied in 33 years, I was initially unsure how I would manage. However, from the moment I enrolled in Horse Management - Equine Nutrition, the exceptional communication from both the enrollment officer and my tutor, Meg,… Read more ·  1

truly exceeded expectations.

No question was ever considered silly, and I felt supported and guided from start to finish. The flexibility to work at my own pace around family and work commitments removed any pressure, allowing me to focus and learn effectively.

This course has empowered me to confidently choose the right feeds tailored to my horse’s needs, ensuring his overall health and well-being. I’m now considering enrolling in another course to build upon this newfound knowledge and further enhance my confidence.

A comprehension insight into Cat Care – The course offered a comprehensive look at Cat Care. I found it to be extremely helpful to me as I am starting a cat minding business. I definitely obtained a lot of essential information on looking after the needs of cats plus more. At times in was challenging but well worth it with the information that is covered in this course - I would recommend it to any Cat Lover! Show reply

Very Happy with my course – I'm enrolled in the Herb Culture course. Its a very extensive and detailed course. I got the printed notes which was really worthwhile if you don't like studying online. You need to work at the assignments, its not tick and flick but it makes you learn and by the end of the course you actually feel confident and that have actually learnt a lot. Show reply

Excellent way to study, heaps of information and study material given with assignments and tests and an optional exam at the end of your studies which is recommended. I have just started and I’m loving it, teachers are very nice, course explains Information clearly and detailed. The courses give you a statement of attainment with results which you… Read more ·  1

can use for recognition of prior learning. Very valuable courses if you’re looking to start your career and need something not as heavy as a certificate II or III or diploma. The course isn’t hard or stressful but not basic. The courses are good taste testers for whatever you want to study with lots of different options including short courses. The pricing is fair and they also give you plenty of time. My certificate has given me access for a whole year. My course was $500ish. The assignments are a perfect way to learn even more well studying. Very well set up course, I’m really enjoying it. Iv compared my course to other course websites and reviews and this seems to be the best you can get when it comes to getting a certificate and the setup of the course goes though an app called Moodle which is very easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

Aquaculture BAG211 review – This course is a good guide for research. It provides information, rather than experience. It is nice and flexible; assignments don't have to be submitted by specific dates. It was great to have a hardcopy textbook (which was optional). I received useful and encouraging feedback, and prompt replies to emails, from my tutor. Overall, the content… Read more

was good, but the text needs editing and proofreading for mistakes. Some information in the lessons strayed from the point a little: e.g., excessive information about composting in lessons 7 (Marron...) and 10 (Fish Foods and Feeding); there was no information about the aquaculture (namely hatchery and fingerling production) of Australian Bass in Lesson 6 (Bass) (only the natural lifecycle was explained). Some of the Assignment questions need to be more clearly stated.

Two extra lessons were added partway through the course (thus, I hadn't provided room for them in my schedule). I think they should have been explicitly stated to be optional.

It would have been nice to have some videos (as long as they were specifically related to the content of the lessons) or at least photos to help with visualisation, etc.

This course has given me a clearer view to one day establishing an aquaculture enterprise or applying for a job at an existing fish farm.

Carnivorous Plants course – I selected the Carnivorous Plants course, and found it to be very informative, and I appreciated it being self-paced. However, it is very text-based and I learn much better doing practical learning, as I'm sure others do as well. I'd say that 3/4 of the course is text-based. My tutor for this course, Barbara Tremain was very polite and extremely… Read more ·  1

helpful with her feedback and response time (within 1-3 days). I do feel that, as Carnivorous plants are a niche subject, the amount of individual plants to do for the plant review sheets was VERY challenging, as looking for information on the internet is not extensive, and you must have the latest book, otherwise somtimes information is outdated and unusable. Overall, I would recommend this course to others, and I would like to continue study through this institution with the Conservation and Environmental Management course. I only hope that it is not as text-based, as I have several National Parks in my area that I can explore.

Artificial Insemination in Farm Animals – Neville Chad. I found this AI course comprehensive, and to the point. Dog Care Course – Just completed the dog care course. One thing that did stand out, was the professionalism and speedy response of marking assignments, sometimes within 12 hours, by the tutor Dr. Alia Zelko. certain extent), dog grooming and the law regarding animals. I assumed as I was a student, submitting a draft for one of my assignments was acceptable, how wrong I was, The response I received from both the tutor and customer service was very discouraging and I was bluntly informed you have to pay extra for that, which is totally wrong.

This the best course I have ever underwent! – I have underwent many courses before, but this one was one of my favourites. Though it challenged me in many ways, it was very enjoyable to do. The course content was very good while also being easy to understand. I had some issues with assignments, but overall I did very well. I would love to undergo another course with Careerline again.

Love this course ! – It was great to enroll with this viticulture course with careerline. I got the opportunity to learn more about different types of soil and do the test by myself. Great content, great tutor – The course content for Ornithology BEN102 covers a variety of interesting topics through short modules, which helps keep the coursework engaging. I enjoyed having Karin as my tutor, as she is very knowledgeable and each assignment that was marked she added some extra learnings or fun facts. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who is looking at taking the first step towards studying ornithology. Show reply
