Be Aware Classic use Subcontractors For Installation – Had a patio installed by Classic Patios/ Classic Granny Flats, found out AFTER works started that Classic do not install themselves but use subcontractors. workmanship ever seen in his life. The original flashing was powder coated aluminium with a custom made profile to suit our roof line. The colour was white. What was delivered and installed was a larger profile steel Colourbond flashing. Some white, some cream. Shoved up there to fit any old how. The installers ladder was faulty and collapsed with him on it. Thought we would have to call an ambulance, but he assured us he was fine. The next morning however we found he had damaged our fence and ou decking. Our patio has not been repaired to this day. When complaining to Classic we were called liars regarding certain facts. Would never deal with this company. Find [Name Removed] arrogant and condescending.

Went ahead with installation, big thanks to Matt the installer who has done an amazing job and couldn't be happier with the patio. Everyone who has seen the new patio was blown away with difference, the finish was better than i expected.

I was all set to get a patio made from conventional material, but having it made from aluminum was something i hadn't considered before and glad i made the right choice.

installer, Trevor, realised this and after some discussion with us, and Steve at the office, commenced work as well as ordering some new materials. Trevor was a really nice fellow who consulted us as he built the patio. He clearly knew what he was doing! The finished construction is as as good as the pictures that Classic use in their advertising literature and I would not hesitate to recommend their product. The important thing to me, in the construction stage, was that they recognised the error in the materials delivered and rectified it as soon as they could. An excellent service that has resulted in an impressive structure.

Just had a patio built in the exact timelines that were specified at the start. The finished product looks great and we’re very happy with it! We had a sub-contractor complete the work and he was lovely and knowledgeable about the process.

Constant Leaks – $20k patio and over 8 years of constant leaks and so many attempts to resolve with the company. Coincidentally the patio warranty period has concluded. The Manager Steve will not be empathetic to your concerns or issues and is in fact very rude and just wipes his hands from any ongoing support. Show details

Despite having a slight issue with a faulty panel, Classic Patios rectified and resolved this. Look for bad workmanship and material substitution to some of cheaper and poorer quality. Yes, it is an additional expense, but well worth it and may save you a lot of pain, time and money in the long run, ensuring you actually get the build you are paying for. I speak from experience, an extremely bad experience.
