Hospitable, Great and Fast – Sorry for all bad reviews about Dena but i didn't face with trouble from this company. I booked online return tickets between Melbourne and Vietnam. They are very affordable and i didn't need to pay any extra fee. Suppport team are extremely professional. I will use Dena services again.
Pathetic. Do not book – Did not even inform us that our flight a were cancelled! Trying to get our money back is a woeful experience. Never again with Dena, a scummy operator who have no morals

It is a very unprofessional and unfriendly company. I've never ever seen the worse than this one – I booked the return flight from Melbourne to Bali online. I keyed in a departure date April 17 and return date as April 27. Then I checked the order summary on internet, insured that all details were correct and paid by my credit card. tried to contact Dena, but it did not do the job. Even more - they did not published the real phone number. I contacted Jetstar and explained the problem. They agreed to change the date of the returning flight for extra money, that was equal to the price of a new ticket. I explained that it was not my fault, however they said that they have such an agreement with Dena. As I had no choice I paid. It was 2 days ago, but neither Jetstar nor Dena did not send me confirmation of my booking. And there is no way to any:
- talk to them by phone
- chat to them online
- contact their management.
What am I supposed to do now? Who to turn up?
thankyou to past reviewers – I was just about to book a trip to Bali from Melbourne. Fare was very cheap just over $400,just as I was about to pay via credit card thought I'd do a quick Google search and was horrified by comments about how much of a scum and parasites this site is. Phew!! thankyou to all those honest reviews You have saved me getting ripped off.
Charged fees by DENA after Flight cancelled by Jetstar – Flight cancelled by Jetstar. Full refund by airline. DNA sees fit to reduce my refund by $10 per person and a fee. Won't book with them again. I don't believe this is ethical and full refunds are due where a cancellation is out of the control of the passenger. I won't deal with this company in the future.
Worst travel company I have ever experienced! – I needed to change my name on my ticket from married to maiden name as my passport was still in my maiden name. DENA tried to charge me $540 to do this! I called Emirates and they said it was only $64 from them so DENA were trying to charge me the extra on top. Extremely dodgy!!
Frustrating lack of information – I booked a Jetstar flight to Melbourne via the Skyscanner app. Whilst the booking process itself was ok, I could not find my Jetstar Booking Reference Number, needed to do web check in, despite following the advice in the help section. The Dena travel agency team agreed on, as I told them I will book another business flight via Singapore instead. I repeatedly advised Dena Travel team to cancel the flight if the full refund is not eligible. Their repeatedly agreed on it.
Dena travel team not only didn't cancel the flight but advised me by email at 5.20pm. "We couldn't get hold of Garuda". If you want to cancel your flight please call yourself. As soon I saw the email, i tried to called Dena Travel Team but their were already closed at 5.40pm and i follow up with respond email to Dena travel team as well. "the next day when i make a complaint to Dena Team, their told me we are closing at 6pm". (yesterday, I rang them at 5.40pm their were already closed. i dont know who should I believe in the Dena travel team).
SO, I end up calling Garuda until 4am to cancel my flight in my own time.
I always been travelling on oversea trips every 3 months. this is the first time i encountered such agency LIKE "Dena travel agency" not only trying to forfeit my flight without refund due to commission of employees performance. Also lying and denying and making excuses of the fact "not to cancel my flight" and left me almost without time to cancel my flight. "I found this kind of agency totally irresponsible"

Do Not Waste Your Money & Time, Terrible Loss Of Time & Money – Domestic flight and it's an absolute nightmare. The worst company ever. They hold flight details, and as a result you can't change bookings, add baggage, request information for changes etc. It's a massive hassle to receive the information. They also don't send receipts etc if you need copies. They have no contact email or phone number in case of emergencies. Seriously don't waste your time, just book with an agency or somewhere else.
What a joke. Don't ever book with them – I booked a trip down to Melbourne for the 20th of November. When I looked to check the booking it said it was for the 20th of December. Got hold of the company and they said that there was nothing they can do but for me to get hold of the airline I was travelling with. When I changed the date back to November they charged me an extra $120. Never book with them.
Completely inflexible re seating, luggage and meals - Do not book with this company – I booked a flight to Bali with this company via the skyscanner app. I now have no rights to make any changes of seat allocations or adding on of luggage or meals to my Air Asia booking. Neither Air Asia nor Dena Travel will add my email address to the booking to allow this effectively locking me in to an automatically generated seating arrangement with no checked luggage unless I want to pay Dena travel’s prices which are obviously over and above Air Asia’s.
I have used third-party agencies before and have had no problems with being able to allocate seats, book meals, luggage etc however this company completely unwilling or “unable” to allow me access... oh but they are willing to charge me over and above Air Asia’s rates for luggage allocation after making me wait for over 50 minutes on hold whilst they were supposedly contacting Air Asia to sort it out.
I have an Air Asia booking confirmation number but when you book via this company they use their email address on the booking so the airline will not allow access without my email address being on the booking, yes, Dena refuse to do this.
Do not book via this company!!! They are completely unapologetic about it.

Nearly 10% credit ccard fees! - don't use them! – Just managed to spot in time that they charge nearly 10% in credit card fees when used through ScyScammer. By spotting this I managed to save myself $72 in fees by then booking direct with the airline instead!
Worst cancellation rules I've ever experienced. Do not use this company! – I purchased a flight from Sydney to Sao Paulo, however less than 30 seconds after clicking I realised I had the outgoing and return dates the wrong way around. Beware of this scummy company – others will usually allow a change of date for a fee (usually around $200), which I would have agreed with.
I will never, ever use this sham business again and would strongly advise others not to either.

8 hours early that morning.
The following day I then received an email informing me that because I chose to refund my money it would take 7 working days to arrive in my bank and they also be penalizing me $10 for doing so. This remember is after they failed to notify me that my flight was canceled.
You would have to have rocks in your head to book through this company. Read the other reviews and I think you will see a trend.

Make sure you check cancellation charges – I booked a trip that I needed to delay by a couple of weeks. The cancellation fee was 95% of the fare. Most companies charge about $200, which is OK. Booked on line & would not accept phone conversation to help with the problem. GIVE THEM A MISS. I am a Professor of Management at a Buisness School & I have never seen a review site with such overwhelmingly negative reviews where the business survives. Good luck.
Total scam! – An extra letter in my Surname (their website wouldn't let me correct the error) caused them to cancel my booking and keep $300 of my $1200 flight. The customer service rep was rude, wouldn't let me speak to a manager and hung up on me. A simple typo ended up costing me $500. Do not ever book with them!!!!
Unprofessional attitude – I found them on Skyscanners and booked online with DeNA travel.They charged me through credit card but interestingly got my details mispelled on the ticket and finally shown their inability to resolve the problem.I have found them exteremely unprofessional and incompetent to deal with a situation and totally clueless in Customers Service.

back so I could book the tickets through another means as my flight was only a couple of days away and I didn't want prices to go up but they assured me they would not give me a refund if tickets have been booked through their website.
So i waited 2 days for them to get back to me and of course my credit card had been charged with no tickets booked and they were to give me a refund. Now tickets for my flight have gone up significantly and I have to leave on another date missing a day of work.

My booking was fix – Not put my second name On the booking. But the boss fix it for me. So me and our baby and wife can go to China to see my wife family and friends and have lots fun. Ok now 3days to fix and some bad sleep nights. And $220 for a new ticket for me...
Just don't use them – Don't use this company. They offered flights at set prices, then those weren't available when going to book moments later, I booked other more expensive flights, it was accepted and within moments I received a message stating that the booking had been cancelled. When I called they told me they couldn't find my booking and not to book anywhere else.
They sent an email for information, I provided this and a day later they sent the same email. They released the money a week later.

to ask why I was not informed. [name removed] managed to retrieve my booking and explained that they received an email the night before and due to the volumes of emails they receive it was not possible to let customers know. I told him that that explanation was unacceptable as my friends also used skyscanner and their agencies informed them.
He proceeded with a different excuse. He even went to the extent to tell me that the airline cancelled the flight so it was not the agencies fault. He stressed that it was their job to negotiate within the airline to get me on another flight etc. I told him that how would I have known the flight was cancelled if the agency did not inform me.
I yelled at him as I felt he wasn't acknowledging their agency's mistake. I repeated to him that my friends were informed about the flight cancellation and they also booked with skyscanner.
I told him that it was first I used this agency and it would be my last. I informed him that I do not need an explanation but I need an apology.

an important appointment (which is why I booked an early flight in the first place).The staff member showed me that 3 emails were sent to the agency to notify them. The airline wouldn't change my flight because it was too late, so I had to buy a ticket for another airline. When I called DeNA, they said yes they did receive the change to my flight but I was not told of the change because they have thousands of customers and lots of cancellations and changes to flights and it would be impossible to notify all the customers at once (which is their job right?). If i had of been notified of the change i would have called and fixed it before the day. The person on the phone was hard to understand as he was Indian or something and said that they would usually call and ask the customer if they accept the new time for their flight. I did not get this phone call and was told "yes im sorry but usually we would do that". So their negligence to inform me cost me an expensive plane ticket. DeNA travel refused to reimburse me for my out of pocket expense, a result of the poor customer service, the reason was "sorry but we don't do that".

to call them and no one answering the phone, even the answering machine was breaking down. Once I finally got to talk to someone, it was 10 days since they hold my money. I asked the guy on the phone to resolve my problem and he wanted me to go to their help page on the website to send an email, then he said I need to wait for 48 hours for them to investigate my case. new bank card linked with the same account from which the original booking had been made. Despite several notifications to DeNA customer service from my side they have sent the refund to the old cancelled card. The email replies from DENA customer service look like being generated by robots not humane beings (or complete idiots who pretend to not understand the core issue). Finally I got an email from somebody who claims himself working in the head office (no address, contact details, ABN provided) with the notification that refund is unfortunatelly not possible to the new card. No reason (s) explained. Bank replies to my enquiry that under the Australian law the customer should be refunded to the new card. I could not get any reasonable explanation from DENA why they resist doing this and refer me to the bank again and again as if it is the bank fault. I think those international online booking sites should be excluded from Australian business. Folks should have clear understanding of this invisible and perhaps corrupt services
