Great warranty and after care service!!!! – Handling is good on road ,very quite on the high way , off road just doesnt lived up to the hype stick with the well known brands !!!! I've purchase a set of 4 tyres from Tampe Tyres (would not recommend anyone “you buy cheap you pay double) Tyre looks good and aggressive but on my first trip offroad just a quick one with the family , 2 off my… Read more
brand new Wildpeaks AT3 were damaged ! one to the point that is undrivable any more!! we only play a bit in the mud no rocks or uphills very upsetting off course that both Falken Au and Tampe tyre did not agree to honer their warranty (less then one week from purchase ) Very soft tyre stick with the BF AT UPDATE!!!! After going back and forth with Falklan Aus the guys had sent me a brand new tyre !! Have to give them credit for doing so as I was thinking their warranty Was just a marketing stunt but apparently they do stand behind their products!
This is perfect – These tyres Safety is a key factor in my tyre selection and these tyres are very impressive. The Car performs much better around corners and in the wet and they like the dirt. Bit early to say about durability. Good price. It was about $156 each and that was fitted, they look good Show details
Very good traction low noise – I had Cooper at bf Goodrich mt ko2 Micky Thompson Atz they were very expensive grip wise not much difference land cruiser always distroy tyre even on right pressure it chews tyres. I have seen these tyres on most vehicles they were alright. I have balance the tyres adjust toe still same result Show details

Never buy again – Brought these tyres based on reviews. 21000 kilometres in had an issue with the sidewall, tyre went flat in seconds while driving on the road. Took it back to the dealer, they contacted the supplier who still hasn't got back to my dealer and its been a month. Based on their customer service I won't purchase another Falken product. Wild Peake Rubbish – Started to notice cracking and lettering coming away on one Tyre at 37000 and was told it was because of gutter scrapping Gradually all tyres doing the same damn rep rude and said nothing wrong as did dealer but unable to pass roadworthy So much for guarantee Very disappointed and not going to risk them on a trip to the outback Show details
Disappointed – Although these tyres looked to have an aggressive tread pattern they are terrible in any off road situation ,even wet grass they offer very little traction. Have had these for about 12 months on a navara dual cab and done about 30k km and they are pretty much done. Having BF Goodrich ko2s fitted today. Show details

Have improved markedly – Just replaced my Falkens like for like and the new tyres are noticeably quieter. Were already a good tyre, now even better, must be a modified, improved, refined compound, Well done Falken. Note - there are two versions, the road version and the light truck version. Worth paying extra for the light truck, excellent wear and just as quiet. Show details
50,000km's - Fraser Island, Cape York, Glass House Mountains & Alot of Highway Driving – These tires have taken me everywhere, not a problem. Quiet, good traction, good off road, great on sand and comfortable. Some negative, increase in fuel consumption, but all AT will do that. In muddy slippery conditions, they are not as good as mud terrains.. So no really negatives. They do get a bit hard after 50k so in the wet they can be… Read more
not as good as new.
Would i buy them again, yes. They have done 1000's of km over corrugations and lower tire pressure. Normal corrugations its smooth with correct pressure. But corrugation the size of speed bumps is....
Best tyres I’ve ever had on my 4wd – Best tyres I’ve ever owned. I’ve had several hiluxs now, all with 31x10.5x15 tyres. I’ve had cooper, Mickey t’s, bf’s, khumo and a few cheapie brands along the way aswell. Last year decided to try the wildpeak at3w. They are an all terrain with a bit of tread on the side wall which provides a bit of extra grip when things get a bit muddy or your… Read more
in wheel ruts. I’ve just done 50000k on these tyres for about 60% wear. I’ve never even gone close to getting that sort of mileage out of other tyres. Work takes me on plenty dirt road and there’s always a few trips to the snow on windy roads. No issues in the wet. I’m pretty lazy and have only rotated them twice. From memory I paid $190 a tyre. Will definitely be getting another set when these one are done.
Good tyres – These tyres grip the road like glue. Safety is a key factor in my tyre selection and these tyres are very impressive. The Car performs much better around corners and in the wet and they like the dirt. They are for road and off-road. Bit early to say about durability. Good price. It was about $250 each and that was fitted, they look good Show details
Dubious at first but a great buy – I bought the Wildpeaks to travel the Simpson and surrounds with AT tyres instead of the fitted HT Duelers, a brand I ran for over 40 years. After 20,000 ks’ I have left the Duelers in the shed and cannot fault the Falkens. They still look like new and whilst slightly noisy are very good tyres. The uneven wear reported elsewhere must be due to incorrect tyre pressures and some of the complaints hint at poor vehicle setup. Show details
Great tyres and price – Bought these tyres at the recommendation of the salesman at the store, couldn't be happier with my purchase. They're quiet and perform well in all conditions. Have had them for nearly 12 months now and they have been better than my previous Bridgestones, and they were a cheaper option by far than a replacement set of Bridgestones. Highly recommend Falken Tyres for any vehicle Show details
Long term review – I have bought these tyres because they have a 3ply side wall, were made in japan and very reasonably priced. I have runned them on my prado and camper. The size I'm running is 265/75R16 on both car and camper. I have had no issues with the tyres at all, running different pressures to suit the terrain they give plenty of traction, good wear and are… Read more
reasonably quiet. The only downside I can see is they retain some rocks in the thread. Would I buy the again. Going on the service I have had with them I would definitelly put the on my short list again.

Look nice and do the job – Really impressed with these tyres. They don't cost a fortune and look really good on my 2017 Nissan Navara. They seem to have good traction and aren't slippery on the road at all. I went from having the stockie road tyres, which were really slippery when there was any wet weather to these and you can notice an instant difference. They aren't noisy at all either. Show details
Falken suprise – Usually I have had a road going tyre on my 4x4 as it spend most of the time on the black stuff ,but with the recent purchase of a new 4x4 dual cab ,I selected a rim tyre package to complement it ,as it turns out these Falken tyres were on special at the time , they are an aggresssive looking a/t tyre so far wear has been good ,grip levels up there… Read more
with most of them ,no white letter 'yes' ,and seem quite on the smooth bitumen ,well price ,especially if you can grab a set while discounted .
Overall a good tyre I reckon , fingers crossed they last for 70/85k kms they have a pretty deep tread so shouldn't be a problem with rotation and scheduled wheel. Alignments
Great 4x4 tyre – I have driven 180.000 ks in my vehicle and so far have fitted new tyres twice. I normally run Bridgestone tyres; but this time due to price and recommendations from several 4x4 forums I had Falken Wildpeak A/T tyres fitted. The garage showed me a Falken tyre with 128,000 ks on it and it still had legal tread. At first I found the tyres a bit… Read more · 2
"uncertain" when cornering but this was due to the dressing on the tyre surface, After a few ks the tyres settled down, and I noticed these tyres run quieter then the Bridgestone tyres; and hold the road well. If you rotate your tyres every 10,000ks Falken claim 80,000ks plus achievable. The Bridgestone gave me 60,000 and 65,000 ks so will be interesting to see how the Falken perform. So far they have 4500ks on them.
Good tyres – I chose Falken tyres because the store was having them on sale at the time. I was worried whether they could last as long as the store manager advised. This is still being tested. Noise of the tyres are louder than continental tyres. Had run on the tyres for more than 3 months. They still look very good. Consider the price I would say they are good for the value.. Show details
Great value for money – I have a set on my ranger that have travelled approx 75000 ks, mainly on the bitumen with some dirt track driving and expect around 80000 ks and will fit the same again. Smooth and quite ride that holds the road and hangs on in the wet, Have rotated and balanced approximately every 10000 ks and they've worn evenly. Overall a good tyre for the price. Show details
Great tyres, great price – Fabulous tyres that are reasonably priced. Purchased in August 2016 we have noticed there is no wear of the tread at all in the 8 months we've had them. From the day they were put on the car has felt smoother to drive than it was before. Bob Jane tyres really looked after us with our selection too. Even better we bought 3 and got one free! We also bought a spare just incase we ever need one. Show details
Not a good tyre – Fitted to my 2007 Land cruiser 100 series. Previously at Bridgestone dueller A/T's which were fantastic. Went with the cheaper option to try out, got a set of highway tryes for the car at same time, they have been great but these ones on the cruiser wear very fast and on the edges, I have been back to Bob Jane and they did nothing but said keep an… Read more
eye on them. I will be lucky to have them see out 40000km - which is not good for a 4x4 tyre. I guess at the end of the day you get what you pay for.
Great tyre – I've only had these tyres on for a few thousand kays but up to date I'm really happy with them. Quiet. Comfortable. Good wet and dry grip. Mostly on bitumen at the moment but have heard from others they are really good offroad. As yet i cant see any wear but like I said. Only a few thousand on them at the moment. So far I'm wrapped. Great tyre...great price. Show details
91,000km wild peak h/t fantastic – I ran wild peak h/t and have just now at 91,000 km have to change! Fantastic tyre highway and off road. Have done 4wd on sand and some rough road not the heavy 4wding. Have done a lot of road and highway driving up and down ranges and outback. Tyres performance have been great on the roads in dry and wet! Going back for my second set definitely got my monies worth!! Show details

Nearly balled less than 30,000ks – These tyres are the worst I've ever purchased got less than 30,000 and I had been complaining to bob Jane about several issues with the wear on the side walls also and they don't wana know me so wouldn't recoded either go mickey Thompson much better tyre and quality and tyre power now look after my wheel needs Show details
93000k and still going strong – I purchased 2 falken wild peak all terrains for the rear of my kia sorento 4wd at 142000k, now at 232000k they are only millimeters from the wear blocks and still going despite never having been rotated and over 50000k towing a camper trailer. I originally fitted these as they were on special a Bob jane t mart in mackay and cannot say that I've… Read more
any complaints with these tyres at all, good grip on gravel and sandy roads, don't let go in the wet and quiet on the black top. Will definitely go for another set of these. Have been caught out in the past buying cheap import tyres and having them fail at low kms, respected brands were cheap knock off imitations, be wary of so called bargains!
Just over 70k kms and the fronts are getting close to the wear markers – I swapped the factory tyres on my PC Challenger for these before I picked it up from the dealer. Along with the ARB bar, Snorkel and Hayman Reece towbar these tyres filled out my need for a somewhat capable 4WD wagon. Since new, the tyres have performed very well on the tar, dirt roads, rocky climbs and sandy flats. The one thing they could… Read more · 1
do better is mud, but maybe that's why you can buy MTs? I've not been stuck in mud, but once or twice the fronts have been too packed with mud to grip and only the locking rear diff got me out dry (but filthy).
One area to watch was tyre pressure, but some early tests caused me to end up with 41PSI all around when empty, 42 in the rears when loaded with the family.
The biggest problem, and the reason the fronts need to be replaced is the wheel alignment caused the tyres to wear prematurely. Only the third alignment shop could get the alignment right on the Challenger, with both Mitsubishi and an 'offroad' tyre shop completely failing to get the alignment right. With the alignment right, the wear on the inside of the tyres reduced and they have worn evenly since. The rears will probably go another 2000km (to 75k km) or more.
I'm about to buy another Wildpeak for my 6th rim to match the spare and will now run these on the front with one of the old fronts as the spare.
Not sure what to buy next time, the new OPAT II are a great tyre but will have lower mud performance than what I have. If I could get the Toyo RT, that would be settled but Toyo AU don't bring them in. It will probably be another pair of Wildpeaks at this stage.
Good Tyres For a Fair Price – I purchased 4 Falken Wildpeak AT's 245/75/17 For my Mitsubishi Triton 4x4. "Replaced Bridgestone Dulers" So far put approx 25,000km on them with overall good results. Dry Traction- Great Wet Traction- Good on highway & resistant to Aquaplaning. Around Corners & Roundabouts not to good, will wander & Squirm and often brake traction in… Read more
1st gear take offs.
Sand- Good
Mud- I haven't done deep mud, shallow is fine & they self clean well.
Rock- Handles river rock & Shale well.
Gravel Roads- Good, 100-120kmh on gravel is fine.
Treadlife- So far good, 25,000km of mixed driving. Fitted to approx 3ton Car.
Definitely Recommend To Buy & Would Buy Again. Good Tyre @ a Fair Price.
BUT if you want a Excellent Tyre at a similar price, & sizes get Yokohama Golanders AT's.
Awesome tyres! Dont judge by the price! – Bought a full set for my jeep cherokee 2006 crd. Gave them absolute death off road in limestone, through creeks and gravel. Even the side wall held up to the rocky terrain at 18 psi and offered very good grip. The deep tread is fantastic and with a 2nd wheel alignment/ rotation I managed to get 52000kms out of them . only expected 35000 because… Read more
i don't bother to air down when off roading half the time.
I replaced my tyres with a new set of wild peak AT2 again 2 weeks ago from bobjane osbourne park. Top Blokes at that Shop!
I prefer to ruin a $189 as opposed to the dearer brands!
I am running 245/70R16 @ 38 psi on Road - the noise level is quiet low for these tyres, although they get a little louder as the rubber matures like all tyres.
Mates run the big brands and pay the $$$$ but i still go the same places and back no drama!
Falken Wildpeak Tyre – Don't waste your time and money on these tyres. They're total rubbish. We only had them a couple of months and they are completely worn. We are totally disappointed. A complete waste of money and a total rip off. I can not believe that a tyre so bad is even sold Show details
Won't Last – The depth of the tread varies across the tyre at the centre, it is 11mm on the shoulder it is only 5mm so when the shoulder wears 4 mm technically the tyre is now not roadworthy disappointed to say the least. Purchased at bob jane T mart Dandenong two weeks ago. Show details
Bald at 26000km – Had these on my pathfinder for 12months done 26000kms and where bald and also down to canvas in patches you could also see the rubber was peeling off in balls once warm after minimal driving. I also had 2 wheel alignments done and rotations to ensure this wasn't the problem, 85% on road driving with 15% dirt use. Very disappointed now switched to dick cepick tyres and paid the little extra $$$ for quality. Show details
Perfect so far! – First set of ATs replacing the original Bridgestone tyres on my Challenger Pb. Great grip in dry and wet conditions. Worried about road noise but these tyres are only audible when the car is rolling with Windows down, so I am quite happy there. Handling has been assured and I can feel the difference when steering, like I hv better control of… Read more · 1
the car.
Will update when I hv run more kms.
BTW I installed them with the blue raised letters inside. The thread looks great, not overly aggressive for my taste but unmistakably ATs,.
Bald in less than 35000 kms – Purchased these as they were recommend by the tyre place. So very disappointed had a puncture in the first month and they are bald to the canvas less than a year later. Have had them rotated and balanced and do mostly highway driving, been off road a couple of times only. I definitely won't be getting these again anytime soon Show details
Very impressed – I have been running the Wildpeak A/T's on my Jeep. I bought them as they were a very reasonable price. I have been pleasantly surprised to find they ride so well on wet or dry bitumen and even more surprised to find the handling improve when going on the gravel. I would recommend these tyres to anyone looking for a value for money all terrain. I… Read more
bought mine on a Bob Jane catalogue sale and the price was amazing.
I have now been running the Wildpeak's for over 20,000 kms and could not be happier. They are handling .everything I have put them to. No heavy mud as yet and definitely out perform the similar priced Maxxis and Kumho I have tried before
So much better than the original tyres – The original tyres were Bridgestone DDuelers that had to be replaced at ~ 40,000 kms after 4 punctures mainly through sidewall. Purchased Falken Wildpeak A/T 01 215/70 r16 from Bob Jane after reading reviews about sidewall strength for punctures. Now, 91,000 km and no punctures later I have just bought another identical set. Too good to pass up… Read more
such a good deal. They were $40 less each tyre than last time! Brilliant for dirt roads, off roads and good on the highway too.
Really good 4wd tyres – Bought a 2007 D40 dual cab 4x4 and it needed new tyres. Originally I was going to go with Yokohama Geolanders A/T as I'd had them on my D22, however the tyre shop was out of stock and they suggested the Wildpeak A/T as a strong alternative. What a blessing in disguise these tyres were! Absolutely rate these tyres for sand, dirt and mild mud when… Read more
off road. Bitumen driving they're fantastic too on wet roads and cornering at highway speed. They're quiet for an A/T and represent fantastic value for money and worth plenty more than the dollar amount charged.
I run 265/70/16 and strongly suggest running the tyres at the right inflation, otherwise you'll have uneven wear. Was running them at 40psi for highway, though now they're on 45psi.
Have had these tyres for 12 months/30 000kms and there's plenty of tread left for at least another 30 000kms.
