Scammer – I have been waiting for my refund from this company for a month. Email them but to get the same answer back that they will get back at me in 1 working day all the time. Stay away if u are thinking of getting stuff from this scammer of a company. I will be talking this to fair trade and reporting them to Current Afairs. And I'm still waiting for my refund.

within 10 days of the order being paid and everything was delivered in a timely and consistent manner. They have really lifted the bar here. Definitely worth a second chance. Please keep up the good work Laybyland.
Please do not do business with this company, they take money from you and then when it comes time to deliver the goods... radio silence! I have sent multiple emails over the last 16 days and they have delivered nothing. Laybyland your service is horrendous. You take away phone support and refuse to answer enquiries from your customers and make delivery of goods. You have reviews that have people waiting for refunds for more than 4 weeks at a time, if at all. I could not afford to buy a tv outright, so I used this business to get one over a while, I am now $1495 out of pocket and they will not answer my emails or respond to me at all. I have reported them to the ombudsman and the dept of fair trading. I'm so aanoyed, all this time i could have been trying to save that money myself and i would have had my tv ages ago. disgusting service. DO NOT USE THEM.

After completing all my payments and waiting for another two weeks, they informed me the item was out of stock and issued a refund. It seems they may be advertising items that aren’t actually available in order to collect payments, hold onto customers’ money for a period, and possibly use those funds elsewhere to make a profit in the meantime.
This business model feels misleading and unethical, and it raises serious concerns about their practices. I’m genuinely surprised this isn’t illegal. Very disappointing experience.

Laybyland customer service has been good to me and with quick responses. The site items are usually expensive. Be wary about returning an item or organising a refund as it is not always straight forward. With gift cards they overcharge with fees compare to other online gift card sites such as Card.Gift

Bought a bunch of Lego kits some hardish to find At Xmas i received a gift from a family member that was one i had on laybuy, there was no issue swapping it out. Melissa was really friendly and helpful anytime a issue like that came up. tracking information, every email is stated to be from same person but she continues to change her story,
I got a notification my layby was finalised a week and half after final payment was made , email respond was shipped within 10 days, then I get told 21 days then I get told ETA 29th of Nov 2024, then I get told delays are expected due to Christmas period, then I get told due to ship this week and still nothing.

Now after reading everyone's reviews I'm worried this is scam and I'm being messed around, when I'm not getting clear response to emails, i advice that future customers proceed with caution.

I Received all of my order but 1 very important gift, was told it was shipped then someone else said it was waiting to be sent, after being caught out lying the week before Christmas they finally came up honest and told me they didn't have the stock, I was given a full refund on that product within 5 days, however I now can't get this product anywhere and have a very upset child who waited all year to be told sorry It's not coming,
I will not be using laybyland again, the stress this place has caused is unbelievable.

bad service – iv done a few laybys with laybyland they never seem to have the stock, this latest layby kept getting told its been shipped a month later still nothing, then i get a message back saying its out of stock now im waiting for a refund, prob another month waiting on the money back
Biggest scam – Wish I could give them no stars.. I have an order that I fully paid that I have not received yet. It’s been about 5-6 weeks. Poor Delivery of goods – So, paid off my exercise equipment 5 weeks ago, after many, many emails they finally sent off half my order. They are now refusing to respond to my emails about the other half of my order, and I have sent quite a few of them. Never, ever again will I buy from this company. Scammers – Absolute scam! You pay off your layby then get no confirmation on your item until you contact them then they say it’s delayed over and over and never even post your products or offer refund! Raised a problem with PayPal lucky I paid via PayPal and now have to wait to get a refund through them as this company won’t even respond to PayPal to let them know order is cancelled so thanks for ruining my sons birthday now he won’t have a present

Ended up copping a $3 dishonour fee from LaybyLand since I didn't have the time that week to wait on the phone. And my layby repayment was rescheduled by a month. In this day and age, this kind of service just isn't acceptable. Being able to make a repayment out of schedule is pretty common among credit and BNPL providers, and has always been available in retail stores. After this experience, I can't find any reason to use Laybyland over any other option.

Waiting for a refund! – Paid off christmas presents in October was told i would have them in November, shipping was delayed as apparently didn't have them in stock. Parcel got lost in the mail, have verification from Aust Post. Was told a month ago that my refund was being processed! Still waiting for it!! Was a substantial amount of money! Will never use this company again!!! Will now have to follow up a refund with Australia Post! I want my $1800 back!!!

Don't use save up and buy – Paid an order off start of January 2024 and still waiting for delivery. It's a whitegoods item so expected some delays but to be told 3 different delivery days is just unacceptable and frustrating. A fridge I am now indeed of. 3 times I have stayed home all day expecting delivery and no delivery. No communication. If I could give zero stars I would – Have been waiting almost a month for my refund. Keep getting told different things. Worst company i have ever dealt with. Stay away! Never have I ever had to wait a month for a refund! Never again will I use this ridiculous business again!
