communications were prompt and courteous and the matter resolved within a short space of time. Innovative design, great value for money, and well packaged delivery. Only uncertainty is that the globe is a sealed LED (IP65) - but it should last along time. Recommended.

I recently had a problem with my delivery and Fabio from customer service was able to find my order and move the delivery. Then when my parcel arrived I discovered that the shoes I purchased were too small so he offered me a refund of 30%. His service was consistent and he kept me up to date which is very reassuring.

I recently received my 2 ouku mens shirts. They were advertised as linen-cotton. Upon arrival and inspection and on label they were POLYESTER. I've been scammed previously by this company with mens caps advertised as cotton , only to receive very plastic like rubbish, unwearable. BEWARE.

Awesome Halloween duvet (doona) and matching pillow cases. A pumpkin filled with fire from the breath of two dragons and adorned with a black cat, mushrooms, and other mystical elements makes this set really come alive. one on. My daughter and I are the same size in shoes. They were nowhere near the correct size. Couldn’t get them on my feet even. Tried to contact Customer Service. There’s no phone number. No email address. You have to download apps and all this stuff and still nothing. I have sent an email to an address that is their’s but it’s for people wanting to buy so it won’t be passed on I’m sure. I’m gutted and angry. They say they say on website they do not give return labels. Customers pay. But given the state of this order I expect them to send me a paid label. They demand the returns are in original packing. A crumpled cardboard filthy box. If I do do not get satisfaction I’m going to the Office of Fair Trading and it’s so bad, maybe even A Current Affair. Don’t deal with them! I have spent a lot of money for this rubbish.

Initially when I contacted LightInTheBox I was absolutely unable to obtain any satisfaction. It took many emails and a great deal of negotiating before I finally struck a most helpful Customer Service Representative called Megha and a shout out to Megha, she managed to arrange a full refund for the camera, for which I am very grateful. Thank you Megha for your help.

But it is a shame that it took such persistent effort on my part to achieve this.

Email specials and deals are a lower price to when you click the link and attempt to make the purchase on the website. There are no coupon links to bring the website price to the heavily marketed email price. This is very misleading

hard and even though it was polyester it crushed the moment you touched it.

I contacted the supplier and they offered a 30% refund on the purchase price or a 50% store credit. I said I wanted a full refund and they said I needed to return the product at my own cost. The purchase price was $44.78 plus postage $7.68. To return the product at the cheapest possible price through Australia Post was $38. Obviously they know the cost will be prohibitive so they just opt for a credit or reduced refund so there is no incentive to return it.

I was buying this for a start up charity, so to receive an offer of $13.47 as a refund of a substandard product, when I spent $52.46 and waited over 2 weeks to arrive I was extremely disappointed. The aprons will now become landfill :(

If zero stars was an option, I would have given a 0 star review.

Products are terrible and break after one wear do not buy, when i mentioned the elastic broke after one wear on a top they said it was not visible so is a sold on the picture, another top I bough come with ribbon and parts separately and wanted me to basically make the top myself. Sent 2 video to show the elastic gone and would not take responsibility.

well known supplier I normally deal with, but blue lights are a bit harder to get than the regular colours & I couldn’t get it through my regular supplier. A 30m roll is also often harder to get, so when I saw them advertised with Light In The Box, I thought I’d give them a go.

Firstly, I should say that now that I’ve received the lights and they’re placed around my pool fence, they do look quite good. They’re bright & they work well, and one thing I found was that lights that are the furthest away from the charger are much dimmer than those closest to the charger.

However, the order was not without its problems. Delivery was very slow, and I was annoyed with myself for not checking beforehand where they are actually coming from. Their HQ is in Singapore but most shipments come from China.

The biggest problem I had was that when the lights arrived, they looked very different to the photo on the listing advertisement. I expected to see a rounded roll of lights as per the advertisement, but what I got was significantly different. Instead of a rounded type roll, the lights were in fact wound around a small piece of cardboard, and here’s where I encountered my biggest issue. Unrolling them was not easy, in fact they were quite tangled, constantly getting stuck & catching on themselves. It was a long exercise in pure frustration in untangling them and placing them where I wanted. There were several points where I was seriously contemplating giving up & chucking the lot in the bin. But I persisted & I’m glad I did. Overall, now that they’re up & working ok, I’m reasonably happy, but I’ve always said the test of any supplier is whether or not I’d order from them again. Honestly, I’m not sure.

 Follow-up  · Here’s my follow up to several questions asked. Firstly, although I have updated the rating to 4 stars, my reality is that it’s still only worth maybe 3.5 because overall, they’re “ok”, but certainly a long way from any kind of wow factor. Size are smaller, made of cheaper fabric and delivered stuff which not accurately match what’s been ordered. Just Rip off on prices . Got 2 Tees for 53$ which you can get for less then 10$ same or better quality at Kmart. STAY AWAY

Update – Light in the box is an excellent online retailer. The purchases are of very good quality and you can spend as little or as much as you want. Deliveries have improved too

 Follow-up  · The range of prices represents good value. The deliveries have improved as packages are now left in safe places, instead of being left on the verge. The cotton and linen clothing are ideal for our climate.

Edge warns you of the potential for hackers to infiltrate your computer if you do. Pay Pal is all over them, for their cheap non functioning knock offs. Plus it is a really complicated process finding a way to return anything, then they got the hide to offer a 50% credit or 30% refund and sending the item back to a China address, costing $20-$30 in postage, When actually it was shipped from a Sydney warehouse. Buyer beware, no phone no email. Many other Chinese companies are doing the same thing. It was a horrible experience, always check these product reviews first, as I will in future.

My Mum bought a dress on line that was far too big…it was a really complicated process finding the way to return & she finally got the offer of 50% credit or 30% refund and sending back to an Asian address costing $20-$40!
