years back which fit well top the frame). Anyway, when I got my new mattress it’s short to the bed frame by 10cm lengthwise and 5cm widthwise. I can see the floor & put my hand through clearly from the gap. As it’s significant error in size I call them and advise, and I was asked to drop a mail to customer services with photos and details. I have done that showing clear photos, after that they wanted me to send photos of measuring the mattress, and then they wanted mattress to put on the floor upside down and measured and many more. I have done all and still they came back and ask for more as that is not correct. And when I checked actually this mattress is smaller than the Australian standard double size mattress. What I can't understand is when we can see the floor through a big gap with the mattress on the bed frame which the photo I have sent to them, they still try to get check measurements and argue on that without admitting this product is wrong. I was tired of all extra work I have to do and it’s not easy to play around with a mattresses. I am just letting you all know the way they handled the situation which is really disappointing. As I mentioned earlier, I have bought many things from them and I learnt they have no value to their customers once they sold an item. I am not recommending them at all to anyone else now.

I had paid a deposit and was going to pay the remaining balance upon collection at the Hoppers Crossing store I said Wednesday 30/4 that I would like to collect on Saturday 2/5. I was then told that she couldn't get it there for Saturday due to storage and I would need to pay a delivery to get the furniture from their warehouse of $100. So I said I'll wait and collect the following Saturday 9/5 from the Hoppers Crossing store as I wasn't in a rush (our home hadn't settled yet) and I wasn't paying a $100 fee for delivery when they said I wouldn't have to. I have just received a text message (This is how all our correspondence has happened after the purchase) saying that she missed the truck and I'll have to collect from Braeside. I have replied and stated what we had discussed, that it's not good enough, and that I will be collecting from Hoppers Crossing on Saturday and that I would like this confirmed. I haven't had any response from this company and I am very very unhappy with their lack of responsibility and care.

Really bad quality beds. Yet another 1 star review – Hey you get what you pay for. Not that it was cheap, but the quality of the bed was poor and fell apart 2 weeks outside of warranty. The bedhead fits perfectly and well made...thank you so much – The bedhead is pretty sturdy and its padded backrest is also quite comfortable. Its beige colour goes really well with my bed. I will definitely order from Melbournians Furniture again .

Pretty sure half of the positive reviews on here are fake – Worst ever online experience, item arrived damaged, customer service team can not even write and form an email that makes sense, and everytime I question my replacement delivery get told the office has been closed or warehouse is closed etc I am convinced all positive reviews on here are written by their team as they are written in the same style.
