Toasty warm this winter – We recently had a Mitsubishi reverse cycle air conditioner installed in anticipation of another unbearably hot summer in Brisbane. Bonus, we have been able to keep the chill away with the heat cycle during our coldest winter in 4 years. So happy we installed the recommended brand of Mitsubishi as it is so quiet and heats up the large space in no… Read more
time at all. It took the technicians no time at all to install and the unit does not look out of place at all. Remote has been wall mounted (can't lose it) and basic settings are easy to use. Can't wait to try it out on the cold cycle in summer as our house is very uncomfortable in the hotter months.
Perfect Air – This product was refereed to me by an Electrical company. they purchased and installed. even gave me some bonus cash back forms that came with the model.....Since installation last year it has been lovely to use and our power bill has not dramatically increased like many others. This model cools the entire rumpus below my house, massive room and it does not struggle at all. Show details
Loving it!!! Quiet and efficient – We upgraded our lounge room air con to this unit and couldn’t be happier so far. It is super quiet in quiet mode and not even defending when on full bore. Easy to use remote - we also got the wifi adapters which we love being able to turn the AC on before we get home. Just wish could adjust the fins horizontally. Show details
Cool Running – This air conditioner capably cools and heats our 90sqm 2 bedroom apartment. It has a turbo mode that can very quickly heat or cool the 4mx11m living room. It is very quiet even in turbo mode. The wifi remote control app is a great bonus, the air conditioner can be turned on as we turn into driveway. Install was performed professionally and quickly for an extra $660 Show details
Easy to use reverse cycle air conditioner – Purchased a Mitsubishi reverse cycle air conditioner recently. In both cool and heating modes the unit is very quiet. The handy remote control has a useful slide cover that prevents buttons from accidentally being clicked. The unit does provide heating/coiling fairly quickly..a few minutes. The only downside is that the remote display for cooling is a snowflake and for heating the sun symbol - and I find this a bit counter intuitive!
Absolute Lifesaver! – What a great unit! - Initially we installed it for heating last winter as we had moved to a new place where the only option was electric heaters and with open plan living they are not all that effective. We have had Mitsubishi airconditioners in the past and they have been trouble free and very reliable so it was a foregone conclusion to choose… Read more
a Mitsubishi model again. The remote is clear and easy to use with automatic time settings and the position of vanes is controlled by remote as well. The installer, who we have used before, tells us that he has minimal callouts to Mitsubishi units compared to other brands which is very encouraging.
This 6.0kW model heats a very large kitchen, dining, living area very quickly and efficiently but during the past summer here on the mid north coast of NSW it really did save us from drooping in the high humidity and extreme heat and it never missed a beat. It is also very quiet both inside and out as you hardly know it's running and we found that setting it on the dehumidifier mode or 'dewdrop' as we call it, the room was pleasantly cool and the atmosphere very comfortable even when extremely hot outside.
We are now about to have a smaller Mitsubishi unit installed in the main bedroom in addition to the overhead fan and ready for those hot, humid nights next summer. So, if you're trying to decide which brand to buy, go with the best and get a Mitsubishi, they may be a little pricier but you won't regret it.
Very quiet with good air flow – We had this installed in February right as the weather cooled down to bearable temperatures so haven't used it on a really hot day yet. It has made a nice difference to the comfort of our living area on a few warmer days so far though. Both the indoor and outdoor units are super quiet and the airflow indoors is good. direction is manually adjusted through 2 vanes on this size unit but I really wouldn't change the direction anyway as it provides good coverage of the room. The vane has the vertical sweep mode to direct air between the ceiling and the floor. The larger 7.1kW and above rated units have the adjustment through the remote.
We are a very low electricity consumption household (approx 5-6kW/day) so the air conditioning has increased our usage by several kW when we've used it for a number of hours in the afternoon but I'm pretty happy with it's economy so far. I'm interested to see how it goes with heating in the winter months too as it is in our main living area and will allow us to cut down our natural gas use.
Installation cost a little more as it wasn't a straight back to back install.
