Mortein Fast Knockdown Multi Insect Killer

No star rating as does not work and ineffective on flies. They literally have to drown in multiple sprays. Will not be buying this product again, as a waste of money. It use to be so effective a few years ago. Show details

Mortein flyspray does not work. I paid $9.00 for a can and the flies love it. Had a fly in my small bathroom and used nearly 1/4 of a can spraying it several times during the day and the fly was still as large as life WHAT A JOKE!!!! Surely they can't keep selling this product that clearly does not work I would have thought that would not be legal. Works very fast – I use Mortein fast knockdown in the home regularly. Only a very short single burst is needed for moths and flies. Moths drop straight away and flies take a bit longer. The smell is the only thin I dont like but at least I can avoid the spray in the air that way. Show details

This does work! – We have a property near Gloucester NSW and in the garden there are maybe 90 large rose bushes. We have a problem with yellow monolepta beetles. cover one 1.5 metre high bush, and instantly the beetles will fall to the ground, in fact it literally sounds like falling rain. It is also non toxic, unlike previous products we have used. Also when a hornets nest is sprayed, they will also instantly fall to the ground, without any chance of stinging. This is a brilliant product.

Louis the Fly – I was one of those people who NEVER wanted to see you kill off Louis the Fly. SO GLAD to see him back on TV again!!! And more wicked than ever. Congratulations Mortein, the new ads are great and I will always continue to buy your products. Louis May be overcome many times but NEVER LET HIM DIE. His bug cronies might bite the dust , but Louis must survive!

Waste of Money – Fast knockdown what a statement more like fast way to destroy the mortein name. This product does not work unless you drown the insect. Confident that it would be true to its words of 'fast' and 'knockdown' I raced home ready to end this standoff and hostage situation once and for all.

At approximately 9:00pm, I sprayed said Huntsman the size of a small cat, atleast half of the can, directly onto it. To my surprise more than 9 terrifying minutes later, all I had managed to do was aggravate it further.

After about 20 minutes, the Huntsman finally surrendered and all peace was restored in our house.

So, if you could please advise your product development team that Huntsman are not only quicker than Usain Bolt but also run quicker at you then a S.W.A.T team.

Next time I will try the entire can, and let you know if it was inactual fact, a 'Fast Knockdown'!

No death just longevity – I will never waste my money on the ODORLESS fly and mosquito version of this product again. Completely false advertising and the claims of an insects death due to this spray is misleading unless they die of old age. The standard one with Improthrin does work. Show details

New trigger design needed – I find it impossible to put enough pressure on the spray trigger to get it to work. I'm a senior citizen with arthritic thumbs and hands not as strong as they used to be. Can mortein design a trigger easier to press? Show details

Hopeless product – This product, Mortein fast knock down is useless. It’s taken all day to knock down 20 flies in a 21 foot caravan. 1/2 a can used and they are still buzzing. Not only doesn’t it work is cruelty to the insects. It just not right.

Mortein Fast Knockdown and get up – I have had one fly buzzing around my unit. I have directly sprayed this one fly 5 ,I repeat 5 separate times with Mortein Fast Knockdown and it still lives. Either this fly is from Planet Krypton or the spray does not work

Hopeless spray – Such a trusted brand but this spray is hopeless. Constantly aiming and spraying the fly, has minimal impact. I think eventually after hour of constantly spraying as it flys around, does a nose dive. Even then it’s still going. Have to squish it to put it out if it’s misery. In the bin it goes. Show details

Mortein “fast knockdown”? Surely you jest! – I have found Mortein Fast Knockdown Fly and Mosquito killer to be useless against flies. They simply keep flying and coming back for ten or 15 minutes or longer despite repeated bursts. Don’t waste your money - the cartoon advertisements of Louis and friends dying instantly on contact are a falsehood and should be scrutinized by the relevant authorities, as possibly fraudulent.

Don't buy, absolutely useless – I am only giving this one star because I can't give zero. I bought a can of Mortein Fast Knockdown Multi Insect Killer on Friday so I could get rid of the flies in my home. Insects thrive Mortein – This is going to be the shortest review I have ever done.. I've had it, I am convinced that insects thrive on Mortein. I spray and I spray and all it does is smell nice, I'd rather use Glenn 20 though. Anyhow I will no longer buy Mortein. I'm going to buy Aldi brand insect killer because I know it works.. Ine fly still alive from entire can – Sprayed literally an entire can on ONE fly and it didn't die. Was doing that intermittent buzzing on its back for three days. Terrible fly spray – Fast knockdown, only if you throw the tin at the fly and are lucky to hit it, you really have to drown the insect, even then it still crawls along with its dripping white wings dragging on the floor Show details
