Very disappointing experience at MyHairCare Airport West. I spent $269.69 on three items and asked for a free sample. The staff member gave me one Maskology sheet mask and said samples are given for purchases over $120. if she could process my purchase as two transactions so it would meet the supposed “$120 per sample” rule — she also refused. The attitude felt dismissive and unhelpful.

Later, when I returned to the store for a refund, a different staff member told me that the policy is actually one sample per person, not per $120 spent. So, two different staff members gave two completely different explanations.

What makes it worse is that if I had placed two separate orders online for in-store pickup, I could have easily received two samples with no issue. It’s ridiculous that shopping in person is treated worse than ordering online.

This kind of inconsistency and poor customer service makes it hard to trust the store or its policies. For a business that promotes itself on professional haircare, I expected much better treatment and clearer communication.

moment they receive your order, they are prompt to confirm and shipping is prompt with no delays. I have never had a problem with receipt of my goods. requesting if the order could be amended to the new option (while doing this I saw a confirmation email of my first order, saying I had 15 minutes to make changes - too late for me, I thought, but I tried my luck anyway). I received a confirmation email first thing Monday morning saying my order had been amended. I then went to the Australia Post website with the tracking number provided, which informed me that my order was scheduled to arrive that Thursday - and it did! I am super impressed with the customer service I received, as well as the delivery time being completely on time (thanks, Australia Post!). I haven't used my products yet, but wanted to pass on my thanks to the team for a great experience! I am one of those people who always read the 1 star reviews first and go from there - I'm so glad I took a chance. Absolutely stoked!

called up on Tuesday, said there was insufficient staff to respond on Saturday. I sent in an email which also was not responded also. The website does not mention of any shortage of staff for not responding to calls/ emails sent. I missed out on the offer and also was not able to put in an order through to any other store as I was waiting for the store to respond back to me. During the discussion, the person on the other also abruptly cut the call.

Excellent customer service – I purchased 3 products 3 months previously. I had started using 2 but didn't start using the last product until now. It has a faulty lid.
