resolution instead of accepting their "go away and wait" line. Repeatedly told that I was using their budget tier as though I was some brokie.

To subcontract couriers and have absolutely no line of communication to them, or any visibility on their timeframe is just ridiculous.

We needed to make an unplanned and urgent trip from Sydney to Adelaide due to a close family bereavement. In our haste to get away, we left a key in Sydney. 7th, we called the 1300 # for an update and were informed delivery was set down for Monday 10th. Monday to Monday is 8 days. For complete disclosure, our neighbour did select the 'saver' rate which states 4-5 days delivery. On contacting the 1300# and from subsequent emails, at no stage did Pack & Send offer to try to resolve or expedite the parcel for us, not even to upgrade the service at whatever the cost. We were just relentlessly informed that the delivery standard was 4-5 days which of course they latterly claimed to be business days. In my 40 years experience in business there are essentially two types of businesses. Those that do everything they can to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations, and those that use disingenuous explanations to justify their own poor performance. Pack & Send, you are very firmly in the latter, not because of your 4-5 day service standard (which to be fair is appalling for a capital city to capital city small consignment), but more so for the complete absence of empathy in attempting to help. Some one once gave me a great guiding principle for business leaders, I was asked, 'how do you want people to feel about your business'? Never again will we use these guys and I will inform anyone else I can about how poor their customer care really is when they have the ability to help, but choose not to.

eventual delivery 37 days after collection (actual journey took 5 days) the glassware was smashed, including a keepsake 1970's baking dish that belonged to my now deceased Mum. I wrapped and protected it. It arrived naked in the box: no wrapping, no protection, no care. Will never use this company again. Sender and receiver very unhappy.

the process was easy from the get go & their customer service both online & in person at the Bankstown store was fantastic. Having everything taken care of on that front took a major load off of my mind. I was nervous about one of my items (a personalised glass Christmas bauble for my young niece) arriving in tact, given the journey it went through (my parcel bounced around between various Asian countries before arriving in the US), but it did...or so my sister-in-law told me. Although my parcel took longer to be delivered than expected (I'll blame that on both UPS & the holiday season; sending parcels in December is NEVER a good idea!), it was still within the promised timeframe that Pack & Send quoted me.

Both my mum & I were so impressed with Pack & Send that we used them again late last year to send off another package of Aussie goodies to said family (albeit earlier this time) & I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future if the need arose.

I highly recommend the service from Pack & Send, Blackburn. Himanshu was so helpful with my 3 interstate deliveries, nothing was a problem for him. Everything was picked up and arrived on time and in perfect condition. Any items that needed to be packed, were done so with first quality materials, protecting the items enclosed. Jenny was the ONLY person to step up and help. Nothing was too much trouble. No call went unanswered. She was kind, thoughtful, patient, considerate and above all else - an ambassador for Pack and Send. At all times, she reassured me that nothing was too much trouble, educated me on what Pack and Send could offer me in the future if I needed it and spoke with kindness and confidence in her colleagues at the other Pack and Send branches. It’s not often that I feel such confidence in using a company I have had such limited experience with, especially with the transportation of such sensitive material.

There is no doubt in my mind that I will be using Pack and Send for all my future courier needs, both personally and professionally. My only complaint is that I do not do more work out of Mackay, so I won’t get to speak to Jenny anywhere near as often as I would like.
