This wood heaters newer & better! – I've had 2 Neo woodheaters over the last 5 years in 2 different houses & I must say the latest is the best. No need for firebricks on the floor great access to load wood & great burn time, (still going strong after12 hours). Our home is 22 squares & we run the smallest Neo. Ceiling fan works a treat distributing heat & if it gets too hot, well open the door!!! Well done Pivot, would never go anywhere else for our heating needs. Show details

had an issue with yet another tradesperson who had incorrectly installed the heater. Once again, above and beyond from Pivot when I called for advice and assistance. I can’t fault this company. None of the issues we had were theirs; but that didn’t stop them providing timely advice and assistance to resolve the issues. I will definitely be using them in the future for our next renovation.

Alderlea T5 wood burner – Not worth the high price. It’s a beautiful looking unit but that’s where it ends. Apparently you shouldn’t burn eucalyptus in this wood burner as it burns too hot and the heat and oils it gives off will damage the interior of the firebox particularly the baffle. told by the manufacturer after the baffle blew out after only one season of use. Also was told that they will replace it under warranty ‘this time’, so it seems like the 10 year warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. Am not happy with their service as all that comes back from them is that it must be my fault that the baffle blew out. Who spends $5000 on a wood burner and uses it to burn rubbish in, which is what their first accusation was, that I must be burning pizza boxes or other paper/cardboard rubbish in it. I asked if they wanted me to send the damaged baffle back to them to check out if there was a manufacturing fault with it, but no, not necessary. Obviously it has to be a user fault. I’ve watched all their instructional videos and carefully read the manual and nowhere does it say that you should only burn red gum. Who in their right mind would purchase a wood burner that can’t handle heat?????????

I know we only started using it last night, but got to tell you I could not wait to cook in it and I put a 1.5kg rib eye on the grill with the veg cooked on the top. The boss had a champagne while I cooked which is another bonus. Fed the four of us and not a bit left over, it was one of the best steaks ever! I think you will agree it suits the dinning room perfectly, very stylish and so practical. We had it running over night with no problems at all, I think I’ve actually cut down on the amount of wood we are burning by nearly 50% and the radiant heat still kept the dining room and kitchen at 22c all night.

clearance from the walls, hearth dimensions etc. etc. and Pivot Stone & Heating (in particular Janelle) were very patient in answering all our questions as well as being in constant communication in relation to updates to our order. The service that was provided was exceptional. The unit itself looks great and on first use it does burn very hot! We even received a follow up call post installation to make sure all went well. Not many businesses these days go out of their way after they sell you a product to ensure you are happy with what was delivered. In addition, after sales support has been great. Would definitely recommend them as well as the Pacific Energy heater.

Waste of money poor customer service – We brought our esse 900 wd end of January 21. By May our wood door has crazed. sent an email for up an update on delivery to be told now it won’t be this year as they can’t get materials to make. In the meantime the rope is on fire glass door falls off & needs gluing. I would NOT recommend this product We had a EVERHOT fuel stove prior to this that was as 20 + years & not a problem.

So far so great. Heater is pumping out heat. I will re-comment in a month or so.
