This is a very short review. I loved them for decades. Then they changed the formula and they tasted awful. But I am happy to say they now taste like they used to.
Unjustifiable Corporate Greed – These used to be my favourite icy treat.. But I am done. They have shrunk 3cm and the price has gone up to a ridiculous price.. But worst of all, I have just found out that they're MADE IN CHINA.!!!!! WTH!!! YUCK. THAT IS JUST DISGUSTING... So 'Peters', you can jam your 'Cyclones' where the sun don't shine.. You'll get not a penny more of mine.. Funny how the very worst symptom of Covid, turned out to be Corporate GREED.. Show details
The butchered chocolate paddle pop. Streets take notice! Give the public what they want – Hi all, I also got the same lame response from Streets when I told them that their chocolate paddle pop became a flop. The missing ingredient is buttermilk. Thats is what made the ice cream so amazingly smooth, tasty and mind blowing. The issue with society today is that you can’t enjoy a dessert that is not super healthy for you. Streets, … Read more
it’s okay, you can enjoy yourself with junk food now and then. Streets need to give the public what they want & if it the paddle pop was removed from schools due to health stars who cares, you would make more money from the general public giving them what they want.

Horrible – I used to love these in school, I am now 26 and it has been years since iv had one but decided to try it. It was awful! Ice cream is my favourite treat and it was so bad I chuck half of it out along with the rest of the box. Will not be buying again. Show details
Great taste though very small – The Cyclone is a great tasting treat, rich in flavour and packed full of yumminess. However, as far as value for money goes I believe it misses the mark. The size of the box and the actual size of the product inside is very deceptive to the consumer. The size of each cyclone is a mere 86ml each and they are way smaller than the box and wrapper… Read more
that encloses them within. Did they reduce the size by 50%? There is a LOT of empty space in that wrapper and box taking up room in my freezer. Anyway, 86ml is not much bigger than a run of the mill 'Super Duper' at 70ml each. Making these cyclones a very expensive treat indeed where consuming one almost always is never enough. The box may say 8 serves but in reality its 4. I am going to give these treats a break due to their price of $7.00 AU because I dont feel they are good value for money anymore unless they were about 50% bigger each. I was also amazed to see that they are made in China!
Very disappointed, my box of banana paddle pops are half ice an some with 2 paddle pop sticks top half is legit all ice – Paddle pops have 2 sticks an half moulded with ice . What is going on streets paddle pop These are a family favourite Where do I find contact number to get replacement box Show details
Not very happy with product – I brought rainbow paddle pops the other day and this is how it was when I opened it Show details

Rainbow – I love the rainbow flavoured one they’re usually way overpriced these days but compared to the other so called ice creams in the same freezer they’re cheap. Not 80 cents anymore but at least they’re not $8 for an unreal ice cream. Show details
Best texture and flavour – I have had these since I was a child. They need to be restocked! They are amazing and it is disappointing considering the texture and flavour was better than other lemonade icey poles Show details

Small Horrible Iced Treat – Not a big sweet eater but purchased some Choc Paddle Pops today for nostalgic reasons. What a hilarious experience. So tiny, very watery and so sad to see the decline in the quality. Never again hence the title of my review for you smart people. Do what I do and if the kids have been good and have earnt a treat, take them to an icecream shop. Show details
What happened – What has happened to chocolate Paddle Pops.. I don't know what I just ate, they are like soft chocolate mousse on a stick and have a strange flavour that tastes nothing like the original. They were always icy and milky.. now just a dense, unstable blob on a stick like an inferior copy.

Congratulations Streets – Congratulations Streets you have perfected in the destruction of Paddle Pops. At 75 years of age and with 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren I feel more than qualified to make this comment. Been through the Chocolate, Caramel, Spearment, Vanilla, Half and half, over the years as have the all family and many dogs . I would sit… Read more
with Sammy who was totally blind at 3pm every afternoon holding the stick in every angle whilst he enjoyed every single lick....No flavour whatsoever in the chocolate ...If they gave a gold medal in taking 50 steps backwards with a product you would win hands down.

If it aint broke dont fix it – Paddle pops of today bear ZERO resemblance to the original POPULAR, ,BETTER TASTING, BETTER VALUE , POPULAR paddle pops previously available . Streets have lost a large market of generations who all grew up with paddle pop being part of their lives . Drop the woke advisors and ask the consumers what they actually want AND PROVIDE IT . Go woke and go broke ! Show details
Shrinkflation at its finest – What is this? An ice cream for ants? I just wanted a taste of that sweet childhood nostalgia, but what I got was a dab of gooey, tasteless, gelatine mess wrapped in what seems like a family sized plastic chip packet compared to what was inside. Gross. Tl;dr - wanted fond memories, received heartache and Christmas is ruined. Show details
Paddle Pop = CRAP – All the other reviews are correct. The chocolate Paddle Pop has been cheapend to crap status and tastes far worse than any housebrand. Won't even try other flavours now because of this change. Show details
Ruined! – They ruined them, that simple. I will never buy another paddle pop, not ever. Chucking the rest of the box in the bin! Tastes watery and nothing like they used to be, yuck! Show details
Kids hated it – Tastes like a cheap rip off.why was the recipe changed?whoever is running this company doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.i loved these as a kid now it just tastes like a weird choc mousse Show details
Not what it used to be! – I ate Paddle Pops growing up and the taste now feels like a very watered down version. It has lost that delicious creamy natural banana taste - I only tried the banana flavour - and now instead tasting like ice-cream it tastes more like an ice block. They’re also significantly smaller. Bought them once won’t ever buy again. Show details
Disappointed – So purchased my fav paddle pop flavour recently from Coles and was really looking forwards to getting my teeth into the smooth, creamy, slightly icy concoction of banana flavoured goodness melt in my mouth... Unfortunately, all I got was a really tasteless, cardboard-y, powdery textured bite snap into my mouth ...ate the one thinking "did I get a… Read more
bad one" before realising they've changed the bloody recipe! Still have 7 sitting in the freezer. Apparently they're healthier now and can be sold in schools. But to compromise taste and texture so significantly...I'm sure a happy medium could've been found. Another piece of my childhood gone.
such a waste – what happened? chocolate paddle pop isn't the same. it might as well be cocoa pop, thats what it tastes like. Not the flavour I was wanting, I wish I purchased something else. All going in the bin now. Show details

Horrible – Thought I'd revisit my youth thinking Paddle Pops would taste the same as when I was young. What a bad move that was. The current chocolate version taste absolutely horrible. Pity there are 7 in the box still left to throw out.
Why??? – Chocolate paddle pops were my favourite treat as a kid thought I'd buy a box to take me back, the new paddle pops are awful nothing like what we ate as kids, why, streets why??????? Show details
What the hell Streets! – Absolutely awful, hadn't had one for years & was so disappointed, like others have said it tastes like a billabong which I never liked!! Don't understand why they changed their recipe :( Show details
The best affordable sherbet tasting icy pole – Purely came here to say how devastated we are that we can no longer buy these but my daughter got one today from high school canteen! Whaaaat! Please bring these back! They are delicious Show details
Streets has lost me as a customer – The ‘new’ chocolate Paddle pop tastes absolutely horrible. It tastes a bit like a chocolate Billabong which I’ve never been fond of. Why do the geniuses at these companies feel the need to bow to the safety police (aka Health authorities) by making a decades old favourite, into something that is now inedible, just so that school kids can be… Read more
wrapped in a bit more cotton wool. I will never buy Paddle Pops again unless Streets changes the recipe back to the original recipe. Such a shame!
Can’t find them anymore – We also love these icy twists. They are like a refreshing lemonade icy pole but a softer texture and nice to bite. My kids keep asking for them but I can’t find them anywhere. I hope they haven’t disappeared for good.
I miss these :( – These are my fav icy poles. They have a texture like gelato but no milk!!! They were my go to, but of course they stopped stocking them. I can’t find them anywhere!!!! So annoying. I hope they bring them back. Show details
Rainbow paddle pop – I opened a rainbow paddle pop and immediately realised it was missing the blue. I took a bite and was very disappointed. It no longer tastes like it used to Show details
