When I queried it, the follow-up email then claimed the offer was actually $12/month — contradicting what their own portal had displayed to me moments earlier.
No proration or refund was offered for the unused final period either; only a small "goodwill" amount. Support is handled offshore and was unable or unwilling to provide basic records when asked.
If you're an existing customer, don't expect loyalty to count for anything here. Disappointing service and inconsistent information.

inclusive FTTP upgrade for free on this plan from FTTC which I can use once I have the modem that I purchased outright with my sign up then the FTTP will occur in around 3 weeks. Also they arranged to have an eSIM to port my existing premium number through Optus for easy transfer as I was not sure it could be done, it was such an easy process. Thank you to MJ from Sales Team for such great customer service and clear communication and lovely manner that really made a difference. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 super stars!

Signed up online 3 days ago, received a message the following day notifying me that the service was ready. I plugged in my BYO modem and internet was available straight away. No set up required, very simple. Called Tangerine hotline and the longest wait was around 15 minutes. Internet speed has been consistent at around 25mbps, hasn’t experienced any drop out at this stage. Show reply

Everything was very easy. My Internet is super fast and my mobile phone connects to the Wi-Fi when it would never do it with the Telstra 5G box I always had to use my data so I’m super super happy and the price is so much cheaper than the Telstra plan thank you so much tangerine. Tangerine made switching to them as our broadband provider, including FTTP connection, quick, easy and seamless. It required very little effort or stress on our part even though it took a few weeks for the NBN appointment to happen, which is usual. After a little bit of a rough start, these guys have turned it around completely. They were a little difficult to get into contact with to start, but they were also quick to escalate the situation and even offered to call me. After being connected with a very helpful tech. Very disappointing service. The internet keeps dropping out and the issue still has not been properly fixed. We both work and rely on a stable connection, but we are now forced to use mobile data instead. The problem still remains the same and the support has been very frustrating. Follow-up · The transfer process for the internet was easy. I didn’t do a thing. It just changed automatically, but I had my old modem. DO NOT cancel your old one until the new one changes over. No idea about the speed. No change there. The phone, well I mucked it up. DONT put your new sim in your phone until you get your sim activated. Read the information clearly before you do anything. support team and using a test router, my WIFI service is STILL dropping out :(. The 'Chat function" is VERY inadequate - with operators dropping out of the chat and needing to start again. Right now, I have been on phone for 75 minutes from 6.20 am after being advised of a 10-minute wait time AND still not through to an operator :( I have written to Sales and Technical teams in the hope that someone in the technical support team can contact me and resolve the issue to prevent me from cancelling my Tangerine subscription. In desperation, an escalation of the poor service and Wi-Fi connection provided by Tangerine will be made to the Ombudsman based on the following criteria - Impact on critical services, Lack of progress.

Dread dealing with NBN/ internet companies but on this occasion, dealing with Patch made a frustrating situation bearable. Her professionalism and patience with me makes her an asset to Tangerine.
Easy order via phone, reduced my monthly bill with Telstra from $74 with $8 shared number for Apple Watch to $27 for same GB with $10 shared number (plus 10% bundle discount). So overall a 57% reduction per month despite using the same mobile network and same inclusions.
I was very happy with the quality of the service provided by John, he was very professional and know what he is dealing with. John wasable to provide me with all the required information and speed up my request.

Absolute garbage. Continuous dropouts and have only got the speed I’m paying for a few times. It’s because they don’t buy enough bandwidth from the NBN. TPG was giving me 500+ MB/S 100%. Switched over about two weeks ago as Tangerine was $30/mth cheaper. Now I know why. Tangerine service is so trash I can’t even log in to TPG to go back before it times out. Absolutely pathetic.
Three weeks since took my money and still no internet waiting time to get through really bad just to be given run around ive spoken to 7 different people each with a different story cancelling my subscription with them before I even got connected

finally get through, you have to repeat your entire story from the beginning because they don't keep proper records.
Two months ago, a representative promised to send me a test router to look into the issue. After waiting weeks with no delivery, I wasted another hour on the phone only to be told that they had already marked my case as "closed/resolved" in their system without doing anything.
