VideoPro went above and beyond when my Hisense UST projector suffered a major fault a year out of warranty. Whereas Hisense themselves were a nightmare to deal with and refused to replace the unit, VideoPro negotiated with them on my behalf and came back with a fantastic outcome. If they only used Australia Post to deliver online orders, my review would be 5 star for the two orders I have placed. However on my most recent order, it was split in 2. sites FAQs (right down the very bottom of the page) it says Australia Post or TNT will deliver your goods, however they will not notify you of the day they are coming or call you if there is an issue. It does state a calling card will be left if you are not home but in my case, this did not happen either. So after two weeks I contacted the courier TNT and was told in an online chat they had tried to deliver twice but had access issues. The first date my wife was at home the entire day. Why the driver just does not call if there is an access issue I fail to understand. Why they won't deliver to a post office which is 200 metres from my place I fail to understand. Most importantly why VideoPro choose to use this delivery company I fail to understand. If I had not contacted them I would of had no idea they tried and failed to deliver twice. I ended up driving to the depot myself (3 hours return) to collect it even though I paid for the delivery. I contacted VideoPro and they were most polite and said they will pass my feedback on to their logistics manager and I have heard nothing since. Whilst VideoPro were the most competitively priced and I enjoyed a first time $50 off this order, the inconvenience of chasing the delivery and then having to drive up and collect it myself is pathetic quite frankly. In future I think I will just purchase my orders from Videoguys or Videocraft in Melbourne and just drive up and collect myself. This may cost a little more, but it will save all the hassle of chasing it myself from a delivery company who seems to have zero regard for the inconvenience caused to customers through their 'we won't contact you to tell you it's coming or if there is an access issue' policies. I have attached screen grabs of the VideoPro delivery policies and some of the chat with the delivery company if you care to view. I also attached the TNT tracking page that says out for delivery on the 21st but still in transit on the 26th? Thanks for the opportunity to provide a review and I am sorry its not a little more positive but it's an honest case on how this lack if consistency impacts my business and indeed future buying choices. UPDATE: 31st March 2025. I have been most impressed by the way VideoPro have followed up on my feedback directly with me. I have added another review star and upgraded my customer service score to 5. I feel confident this shipping incident will be rectified now it has been raised through this review.

Another happy purchase – I have bought an LG 55inch TV. The two sales blokes were accurate and very helpful. I got two progressive calls telling me about delivery. The Delivery bloke, John, was what I would call and ideal delivery bloke and very careful. I have been dealing with Videopro for years and have always been happy with the experience. you "redeliver" something which wasn't delivered in the first place) No contact from the courier, so I call up trying to get this arranged directly with the courier (now 2 weeks past the due date for delivery) I was told "they are short staffed and won't be able to deliver it until next week, VideoPro also advised us not to speak to you directly". That last part annoys me, I'm the customer who PAID for the freight, if you are a company taking this approach you are NOT doing the right thing as far as customer service and you should re-think this strategy, the customer should be able to interface directly about THEIR purchase, saving you support time and allowing issues with freight to be handled as such and not a reflection on your company/attitude. $200 is hardly cheap as far as freight costs too, it was scheduled for delivery 2 weeks before, and yet even with delays already suffered, Video Pro still can't manage to get someone to put it on a truck within 2 business days of having found it in order to get it to the customer. It very much seems VP seem to be content to just sit on their hands in the hopes it gets delivered sometime in the next week or so and I'd really expect more than this, it's a shocking experience all things considered and I recommend anyone reading this to look towards other vendors.

Who is not an audio specialist, but a washing machine/Air-conditioning repairer. Who could not find the fault. So therefor no insurance. We just want it repaired, not an argument. Device had issues from the start and died a few weeks after I ordered it. Checked Videopros T&Cs for the return process only to find they pointed you at the manufacturer if it was after 1 month since the order (they've since changed that, probably on account of it being incompatible with Australian consumer law. Unfortunately I didn't pick it up at the time!).
Got around to sorting out the return in early September and went straight to Samsung. As this isn't a review of Samsung Iet's just leave it at it's now the last day of November, ~12 weeks later, and I still don't have my replacement. Got Videopro involved at the end of October to zero result.
Maybe they are better in person but online I'd pick any of the 100 other options.

delivered by VideoPro last Friday as promised. So far, so good. On Saturday afternoon I set up the TV and noticed that there was a VERY wide vertical grey stripe running from the top to the bottom of the screen. This was obviously unacceptable for a TV of the calibre and price. I immediately contacted VideoPro Newstead and informed them of this situation and reminded them of their promise that if there was ANY defect they would replace the TV immediately "without question". At first, the person that I spoke to informed me that I would need to initiate an LG warranty claim. I politely told him that I would not be doing anything of the sort and that THEY would need to liaise with LG if that was required ... AND that I expected the TV to be replaced as they had promised me when I ordered it from them. The VideoPro guy said that his Manager wasn't in that Saturday, but that he would send a very detailed email to those responsible and that I would be contacted immediately on Monday to resolve this issue. Guess what ... to date, no-one has bothered to call me! I managed to do extensive online research myself and fix the issue myself by doing a fairly simple "OLED maintenance task" from the TV's menu options. So, the issue is fixed, but VideoPro had nothing to do with that. No follow-ups from them as promised, and I doubt that they would have honoured their "immediate replacement promise". In summary, I am extremely disappointed with VideoPro's complete lack of customer service. Their price was great, but their customer service was non-existent. I have purchased three TVs from them to date ... there won't be a fourth.
