Panasonic SR-DF101WST Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: 393420, 4569, SR-DF101WST and SRDF101WSTI just bought the SR DF101 and I must say that I absolutely DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE MANUAL. I mean I cannot figure out How many cups of rice with how many cups of water I need to put. There are no clear words of what's is cups of rice and what are cups of water in the table of measurements provided on the manual. Can anyone help?
I returned mine for a refund it was quicker to cook rice on the stove as I have done for years
Hi Krem, the table on page 5 shows the following for white rice - 1 cup of rice requires 1 1/2 cups of water. 2 cups of rice requires 2 3/4 cups of water, 3 cups of rice requires 4 cups of water. We hope this helps. If you require further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 132600.
There's marking inside the cooking bowl to follow. It's hard to see on low light but always works like a charm. As long as you use the same cup provided should have no issues.
Would I be able to make Chinese rice, Luke's get in the restaurant, in this machine? What are the rice/water measurements?
I can't answer your question because I returned my rice cooker for a refund. I wasn't happy with it the rice didn't cook properly
Sorry, I also can’t answer your question about the rice/water measurements because I gave it away. The person I gave it to is very happy with it because she cooks a cup or more of white rice at a time. It it does seem that each rice cooker is different and it takes a bit of practice to get the rice as one would like it. As I said in my review, I only bought it for cooking a small quantity of brown rice, and for this I found my cooktop more efficient.
What is February smallest amount of rice that this rice cooker can cook can cook comfortably?
Min 1 Cup
Max 5 Cups
Can you cook polenta in it?
Never try, is just a normal rice cooker.
But you will regret this cooker, mine is in the garage
This answer is what I hate about asking questions on the internet. Please PLEASE only answer if you actually know the answer! I am not interested in your opinion! "Blue", why did you answer my question if you don't know the answer? I will repeat the question since you did not seem to understand it. Can you cook polenta in it? If yes, please tell me how you did it. If no, please provide evidence.
Hi Simon, I haven't made any polenta dishes with this cooker. But it seems like a good idea I will try. Actually, I did use this cooker to cook some pumpkin congee. It's over my expectation. I recommend you have a try :)
