DREAM HOME! – Andrew and I had never built a home before, lots of renovations but no builds. We had looked at other display homes, but couldn't really find what we wanted or get a connection with a builder. AND then we met Yarren and Darby from Stroud and everything fell into place. They had the exact house we wanted and were able to customise a few things to make the house more us. They listened and made suggestions to help keep within our budget (and still provide us with the house we wanted). We had heard nitemare stories about how difficult the building process would be and how hard it would be to deal with the tradies , but everything flowed. Yarren and Darby gave us regular updates and were available to show us around when ever we wanted and the tradies were always lovely and accommodating when we wandered over to have a look (we lived in a cottage on the land already). The interior design process was also great fun and no one blinked an eye when I told them my dream was to have an orange front door. Yarren and Darby surprised us by completing our build 2 weeks early (even though we had a few weeks of rain) and the house was perfect and still is perfect and there is nothing that we would change. We love everything about Stroud, Yarren and Darby and tell everyone who will listen.. Andrew and Simone Jones, Karangi Coffs Harbour NSW. I’m so glad to hear that the Stroud Homes Coffs Harbour Team were able to guide you through the new home building process. In speaking with Yarren and Darby they’ve told me that you were amazing from the start and you put your trust in them to build your dream home. They really appreciate that you had faith in them throughout the entire build and you were so easy to communicate with if any minor complications arose. You did experience one issue after moving in with the septic system, however you were patient while they sorted this out ASAP for you. I’ve been told that the build home journey was a fun experience for everyone involved, you were awesome with communicating and having a laugh using the Voxer app. We usually do the surprising at handover but to hear that you showed up with champagne and glasses waiting at the door for Darby and Yarren was so special and exciting.
